This 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom fully detached guest house on a dead-end street has everything you need to fully relax and enjoy Arizona. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, with the secondary bathroom accessing the hallway as well. We have a full-size washer and dryer, a kitchen stocked with the necessities, TV in every room, a steam shower, private parking, front and back patio for your personal use, BBQ, ..... and the list goes on!

You'll find this impeccably appointed detached guest house on an acre+ lot nestled in the mountains bordering Usury Park and 3 million acres of Tonto National Forest. No better way to experience Arizona than to be adjacent to the National Forest in an exclusive custom home community! Saguaros, succulents, mesquite trees, and more will truly provide you the full desert experience!

No street lights or through traffic to distract you from wrapping yourself in the night's sky under the stars to experience the universe. Immersed in nature, you'll be serenaded by coyotes and local birds. Sometimes quail will follow you around! Maybe you'll get lucky and spot a javalina or bobcat - we've had one relaxing in our drive!

Enjoy the beauty of Saguaro cacti and views of Superstition Mountain in the distance. Get on a bike and take a short ride to the sprawling national forest trails or jump in a car and be at the salt river in less than 15 min, Saguaro lake in 20 min, or in just a few minutes drive you'll be at the 202 and US60 freeways to get anywhere in the valley quickly.

Although intimate gatherings with the guests included on the reservation are OK, this is NOT a party house. We will not tolerate loud noises, disturbances to our neighbors, or damage to our home. Please treat our home as your own. If you have questions about what is/isn't allowed, please reach out. Please note that the main home is occupied separately. We live in the main home, but it may be rented out if we're traveling.

We keep coming back to ADOBE ABODE for its location, size, and coziness. Nestled in a residential area, the property is close to hiking trails and city convinces while offering a quiet desert retreat. The space is perfect for four guests with a gorgeous kitchen and two bedrooms, each with their our bath and large closet. ADOBE ABODE is tastefully furnished and designed with convenience in mind: offering expansive sliding doors opening up the space and to bring the warmth of the morning sun in, a key lock at the front door for safety, and an outdoor fire pit to enjoy nights out. We always recommend to family and friends.

The Adobe-Abode is a real gem. 10/10 property in a wonderful location. The Adobe is a clean well taken care of modern property. Beds are comfortable, kitchen is well stocked. We will be back.

Since this is the second time, we stayed at this property we were so fortunate it was available. We just love this property. The hosts are so helpful it's hard to put into words. If I had to pick one word for the hosts it is superb, very helpful with the questions we had, always responding quickly. We enjoy being surprised by the surrounding desert wildlife. The pictures of the home are exactly what you will see. This home is perfectly located to everything you want to do in East Mesa Arizona.

Paradise in Mesa

This is my second stay at this property and I equate it to staying at a 5-star resort. Convenient location to major highways...very quiet...good neighborhood. Dawn is a superb host who checks in with you to make sure you have everything you need. I will be back and highly recommend this property.

The Adobe Abode is great. Very clean, modern, great place to relax, quiet. Very comfortable and close enough to everything we needed to get to around Mesa, but felt tucked away. Host was very responsive and included everything we needed. We loved it!

A home away from home

We have stayed at ADOBE ABODE several times when visiting Mesa and keep coming back. The size and layout is perfect for our group of four. Nestled in a quiet area, the property is conveniently located to hiking trails and stores while providing a peaceful retreat from the city. We appreciate Dawn’s excellent customer service and quick communication, the cleanliness of the place, and the beautifully comfortable furniture and decor. Would recommend to anyone looking for a vacation rental in Mesa, Arizona.

Best vacation rental in Mesa

I've stayed at many vacation rentals in the Mesa area and the ADOBE ABODE is by far a favorite. The property the beautifully designed, perfectly sized and conveniently located in a quiet area. Pros include the patio accessed via the expansive sliding doors, the gourmet kitchen with massive island, and modern amenity bathrooms. In addition to the wonderful accommodations, the property manager is a wonderful host and very prompt. The property is stocked, clean and comfortable. My family and I have stayed at this property several times and would highly recommend to family and friends.

A Get-Away with my Sisters

We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day stay in Mesa. Our Adobe Abode had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. Kitchen was spacious and the counter space made it extra easy to prepare meals. The location was outstanding: peaceful, conveniently located, and the surrounding area was great for walking. The host was always available for anything or info we might need. I would highly recommend the Adobe Abode for your next vacation at this beautiful VRBO.

Wonderful place to relax in quiet location in-between busy vacation outings !

We love the Adobe Abode! It had everything we needed for our week-long stay in Mesa. Loved the peaceful quiet neighborhood. It is close to stores and restaurants and easy to find our way back to the highway for when we had outings further away. We used the front patio to catch some morning sun and in the evening to grill and chill in front of the gas fireplace. We used the back patio for catching some afternoon sun ! Highly recommend!!!

We met my husband's brother and his wife for a 3-week stay in the guest house. It worked out perfectly for us. The space is just right for two couples. The kitchen was great for cooking and the living room was spacious for tv watching or just chatting. We used the back yard to get some sun each afternoon, and the front to sit and talk. The location is lovely and very quiet. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Sonoran Sanctuary

Nestled in a quiet community of west Mesa, ADOBE ABODE is the perfect place to retreat on your Arizona getaway. Our family enjoyed the property for it’s location, square footage, and beautiful furnishing. The kitchen is well stocked and the indoor/outdoor living makes for a comfortable stay while being able to enjoy the dry dessert weather. Also appreciated is the walk-in closets. The owners did a wonderful job designing the space. Dawn is attentive and quick to respond to our questions and needs. We’ve already recommended the property to others and will definitely be staying again.

Desert Perfection!!!!!!

Everything about our stay was perfect, and I mean PERFECT!!! So private and quiet, yet close to the Salt River canyon, the 202, restaurants, etc. The layout and furnishings of this newly built property are top notch and beautiful - this could be in an HGTV home design award show. The owners are absolutely wonderful and great to work with - they have thought of every convenience for their guests. We've stayed in several vacation rentals over the years, and this is far and away the best we've ever rented. You will not be disappointed! 5 stars don't do this justice - it's a 10! We will be back!

The check in process was easy and simple! I really appreciate the host giving my spouse & I privacy! Whenever we would have questions, the host was always there to assist. The location was magnificent. We were able to do a lot of things during our stay, such as hiking, kayaking, lake tour & more. The view was breathtaking!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Adobe Abode! George was very kind and accomidating; he even borrowed us toys for our daughter. The property was clean, peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed being out of the busy town area, but still located by a lot of AZ attractions. Thanks for everything.

Great property!

Great, friendly owners, the property was just as they said. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable in the master. Bathroom in the master was very nice. Great stay!!! They even let us leave our trailer with the side-by-side there after we checked out for a couple of days.

Wonderful Stay! Spa-like zen!

I stayed at this lovely property when I was in the area to be in a dear friend’s wedding at The Paseo, which was an easy driving distance (10-15min). My goal was to have a place to rest and relax in between the busyness of wedding festivities. As much fun as a wedding is, sometimes it’s nice to just retreat to your own space. This wonderful guest house fit the bill! Everything was immaculate. The kitchen was gorgeous and had all of the essentials and then some. The living room was sleek and modern, but cozy. But the best part was the master bedroom with the comfy bed and the amaaaaaaaazing steam shower. I had never used a steam shower before, but since my visit I have decided that I require a steam shower in my next house. I felt like I was staying in a high end spa. I didn’t use the second bedroom or bathroom since it was just me, but both were looked comfortable and would be great for kids. I would definitely recommend this vacation rental to any single person, couple, or small family!

Great Location for a Vacation

We really enjoyed staying here, the property is clean and modern, well furnished and clean. It had everything to make our stay perfect. The neighborhood is very quiet and in a good location with the expressway only a short drive away. The morning sunrise views out the sliding glass door were phenomenal. Communication with the hosts was excellent and very quick response time. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone, everything about our stay was perfect and definitely 5 star.

WOW … simply WOW!

This property is a MUST! Modern, clean, beyond comfortable - not to mention the bonus amenities of a steam shower and FANTASTIC view from the patio complete with fire pit for ambiance. The location was great. Located in a quiet neighborhood if you’re looking for some relaxing and tranquil down time to take in the richness of the desert surroundings. Also extremely easy to get to activities such as ATVing and Saguaro Lake (30 min drive), hot air balloon rides (45 min drive), hiking and sightseeing (mere minutes). Gas stations, restaurants, grocery stores, and farmers’ market nearby as well. My family and I stayed here over the holidays, and even with the busy time of year, the owner was very responsive in communication and to our requests. Like other reviews, if we could give more than 5 stars, we would. Hands down. Fabulous private and quiet home; convenient location for whatever you may be seeking; kind, considerate, responsive owner - what more could one ask for?! Have no doubts, we’ll be booking here again. You should too!!

Shopping: grocery store within walking distance. Target less than 10 minutes away. Large mall less than 15 minutes away.

Restaurants: fun neighborhood restaurants such as Red White and Brew, Pacino's, and Sunnyside Breakfast Lounge as well as chains like Chipotle and Smashburger less than 10 minutes away.

Attractions: FatCats Entertainment (movies, bowling, golf, arcades) and Goldwater Brewing Company (Fresh local craft brewery) less than 10 minutes away.

Hiking: so many trails nearby! Superstition Mountains, Usery, Flatiron, Peralta Trailhead....just ask us for recommendations!

Two beautiful lakes nearby: Canyon Lake (approx 30 min) and Saguaro Lake (approx 20 min). Views, boats, skiing, canoeing, stand-up paddle-boarding, .... you name it!
