Kenai is a wonderful place to visit and explore. This place is very close to the Kenai River and Airport (1 mile)
There is a designated parking spot and plenty of street parking. This is an older building and sometimes the pipes rattle and gurgle when heating up. We consider this as part of that authentic Alaskan charm. This is not a bothersome sound but might help to know in advance. There may be noise from other guests as this townhome is part of a four-plex. We have a quiet time rule from 11pm -6am. PLEASE be considerate and abide by quiet hours and PLEASE let us know if others are not. (Anytime of night).
We strive to keep our townhome sparkling clean. Please understand, this is an older building that does have wear and tear like older tubs, showers, cabinets, and some older appliances. Please let us know right away with any issues you may be having to give us a chance to get there ASAP and make it right for you.
We want to do whatever is needed to make your stay most enjoyable at Discover Kenai.

Kristi was great. She catered to our needs for this trip. She was attentive and responsive. The property was exactly what we needed and what was advertised. It was clean and welcoming. We would definitely stay there again.
We had a fabulous experience renting this condo. The kitchen was very well stocked for what we needed. Bedrooms are comfortable. Easy location to get places in Kenai.
The property did exactly what we needed it do to. It housed 6 of us comfortably and it is in a great location to the activities we came here for. The place was clean and well cared for.

Thanks for staying at Discover Kenai. You were awesome guests!! All the best to you all!!
Easy prompt communication with owner. Super comfortable living space. We really enjoyed our stay. Don’t know why anyone would choose a hotel over a home away from home! Thanks!
Stayed the weekend here for hockey tournament. Property is super close to the rink we played at, so very convenient. Close to grocery shopping and restaurants as well. The place was very clean and comfortable. All in all, we enjoyed our stay. I give it 8 out of 10. I really only have a couple complaints. A few weeks before our stay, I realized I had booked the property a day earlier than I needed. I sent host a message through the app about modifying my dates and never heard back. I would have understood if she couldn’t refund a day, but to not hear back at all was frustrating. Also, the Wi-Fi password she included in check-in instructions was wrong. So I messaged her about that, and no response again. Then I get a call at 8:30 PM saying kids were being too loud. She mentions then that she finally saw my message about the WiFi password, but we had already figured it out by then. It was annoying to get a complaint about being too loud at 8:30, when the posted “quiet time” hours did not begin until 10:00PM. Also, the quiet time hours posted in apartment are different from what was posted in check-in instructions.
We were camping out on the homer spit when heavy rains came and instead of staying out in the wind and rain (some of us were sick) we decided to drive into Kenai and rent a house. The place was spacious and the price was well worth it. A really good deal

Great fishing trip
Fishing was amazing. Lodging was good as we pretty much just slept there. Read the description. Says 2bed 2bath in spots and 3 bed 1 bath in other spots. We had 3 adults and got this place on the 3 bed 1 bath hopes. The pictures try to show a 3rd bed with different bedding and lamp. Other than that it was perfect for us. Thank you for having us.

I am a people person who loves to explore and meet new folks. I love to travel, cook, take photos, edit photos, do calligraphy, teach others and stay at home with my kids! I have been to Germany, Israel, Kenya, Italy, France, Austria, Switzerland, Guatemala, Canada, Mexico and England. My husband was born in Alaska. Four of our 6 children have commercial fished up here in AK for many summers and 3 of them still do! I have worked at camps, churches, art studios, and online as a Virtual Assistant and even worked for a TV talk show host that begins with an O for 3+years. I love to work from home because I love my home and family! I love living in Kenai because of the beauty and quiet. My favorite work by far is hosting guests on VRBO and helping them experience all that Kenai, AK has to offer. I hope to meet some of you one day and would love to help in any way to make your Alaskan experience all it can be.
