Fantastic property on a beautiful beach

Spacious well-kept property with an impeccable garden and pool. Staff and security were very friendly and helpful. Lots of amenities within walking distance. We will be back!

Sonja was very helpful and prompt to answer to any of our questions right from the time of booking to the end of our stay. She had a pick up from the airport arranged which makes our experience go very smooth right from the beginning. The property is very beautiful, clean, and safe. We had a great stay.

Beautiful property and very convenient location

Very nice property with an amazing view. Direct access to the pool and the beach. If you are kitesurfing or just relaxing this is just perfect. Location is very convenient as it is close to Cabarete center and there are many beautiful bars and restaurants at walking distance on the beach. My family totally loved this trip and we are looking forward to going back soon!

This is the place to stay in Cabarete

Amazing 4 bedroom, spacious beachfront condo. We spent almost 2 weeks in this amazing home and loved it! Everything worked well and the property manager was on top of everything we needed from cabs to baby sitters. You can step out and there is entertaining outdoor space for about 10 that opens up from the living room, and into the lawn and pool. The views are outstanding. Having easy access to beach was critical - you can walk your kite to the beach if you kiteboard, and launch within 30-40 feet from your living room. We'll be back again for sure.

Three generations of family time in Cabarete

This is our fourth trip to Cabarete, but our first time with family. You just can't beat the large patio, the lush lawn, and the beautiful pool for playing with children. We loved walking barefoot to the nearby beach restaurants. Wonderful location. Extremely clean. Well appointed kitchen. If you plan on cooking, bring your spices. This unit has zero, not even salt and pepper. The wind sport activities in front of our condo were so much fun to watch.

Exquisite Cabarete Bay Condo!!!

This Cabarete Bay condo is amazing! The condo is beautifully decorated and well maintained. The patio is such a comfortable and inviting place to watch the sunset. The infinity pool is just steps outside your condo door. We ate out most evenings, but the large kitchen has everything you might need to cook with if you choose to. The condo is close to all of the restaurants/bars in Cabarete if you decide to eat out. Sonja, the property manager is most helpful and made us feel so welcome! We couldn't have had a more wonderful family vacation and we definitely enjoyed our time at this location!!! We can't wait to come again! Thank you!

Exceeded My High Expectations!

Beautiful beach front condo on a pristine beach in a great property. Amazing garden / pool / ocean views from the living room and 2 of the 4 bedrooms. The unit could not be better situated. You walk right out to the gorgeous big pool and then to the ocean. The unit is very well appointed, nicely furnished, spacious and bright with cable tv and good wi-fi. Big functional kitchen with everything necessary, great mattresses in the bedrooms. Perfect location to walk up and down the beach to restaurants and water sport locations. Cabarete itself is amazing - incredible natural beauty combined with a great international vibe of water sport lovers. I'm a picky traveler and give this my highest rating - I will definitely go back and I highly recommend the place!

Can't beat the view

The good: Amazing location, walkable to restaurants right down the beach but far enough away for quiet. The pool is paradise, we bought some floats and spent the day floating our days away. The ground floor makes it really easy to go to the pool or beach. The outside furniture made the terrace a place we hung out everyday! Sonja was super helpful checking us in and in fixing a few small problems we had when we first arrived. The kitchen was very large to cook at home if you wanted to. The maid coming in for a clean up during our stay was super helpful. Bad: Nothing really bad at all. The beds aren't the most comfortable and they could definitely use some new towels but besides that I really don't have complaints :)

Best apartment in Cabarete!

Perfect apartment for a nice get away in DR! On the beach, fantastic view on the infinity pool and the ocean, very central in Cabarete! The apartment is located in a very safe complex guarded 24/7. The apartment is very spacious, well equipped and first floor access which is perfect to get your kitesurfing equipment on the beach in 30 Seconds top! I had a very pleasant stay thanks also to the owner Eric who owns the best local kitesurfing brand: STAR KITES. Eric was kind enough to organize downwinders to Encuentro. We had great wind and waves conditions, fantastic! Eric also booked some kitesurfing classes for a friend of mine. My friend was delighted to discover a new sport. I try to go to Cabarete twice a year and Eric with Ocean Dream Cabarete team are my go to for all my trips! Get ready to get salty and refreshed in Cabarete!

Dream suite for dream vacation

This condo has huge rooms and beds, top-of-the-line first-world comfort (impeccable AC, windows with embedded insect protection grids, fully equipped kitchen and living room), a beautiful architecture and last but not least a stunning 25 meters front beach pool with a lowered rim that creates the optical illusion that its water smoothly merges into the ocean. The beach is one of the most gorgeous I have ever seen (and I have been to the red sea and quite a few other tropical paradises) and so is the night sky with the bright Milky Way's stardust painting the ocean water a glittery silver. You feel in a wilderness paradise at the end of the world, yet you have more comfort than at home. The location is perfect, in the very heart of the kite boarder's spot and a 5mn walk from food marts and the Cabarete village, which felt very safe at all time. As far as could tell, nightlife is limited to a few restaurants and bars at the edge of Cabarete's beach. They have excellent food but the music tended to be too loud and too international for me (too much house, hip-hop. R&B and reggaeton, too little salsa, merengue and bachata). The crowd is nicely laid back and friendly, though its overwhelmingly gringo tourists / local material tourist seekers composition may become a bit numbing in the long run for romantically inclined well-traveled singles used to the diversity of big, cosmopolitan cities ;). All in all a terrific place for an unforgettable vacation.

Harmony Review

The accommodations at Harmony were ideal for our family of 4. We were met by Sonja when we arrived and she gave us our keys and went over basics. Then we had the week of privacy to ourselves. I did email once about garbage disposal, and she was extremely fast at replying and was attentive to our needs. The rental is just as pictured, although my only comment is that the bathrooms seem to need slight care (for example rusting towel bars), but our family only used one bathroom and two bedrooms. It is beautifully decorated and the owner noticabley put time and money into this rental. There was plenty of space and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything. The grocery store is nearby, we walked via the street but walking the beach home was preferable when we were only picking up a few things. The restaurants were decent - definitely a laid back atmosphere and no shoes necessary at meals when dining at the beach. The condo was perfectly adjacent to the gorgeous pool where we spent most of our time. We went on some excursions (Monkey Jungle, Zip Lining, Dune Buggies, and Ocean World) and there was some traveling for those places (approx. 45 min-1 hour) but not to long for our 5 and 6 year old and well worth the time. We also spent a day at Sosua Beach-which was too populated and busy for our taste, but still something different. It was only 15 minutes away so not a bad experience and the beach was calmer and clear for snorkeling. We dressed up and went back to that area for dinner one night, but found no classier restaurants that would suit what we were looking for, and it wasn’t an ideal area to be with the little ones at night so we went back to Cabarete Beach where there were other options, shoeless of course! It is difficult to deny the peddlers selling jewelry, cigars, or hair braiding while seated at meals, but they generally respect a polite “no thank you.” If you know what to expect from the Dominican Republic in general, Cabarete and this Harmony rental are beautiful and we enjoyed our vacation very much.

This time the pictures didn't do the place justice

This was my first time ever renting a vacation home, and have learned how great it can be (and cheaper too). I was looking for a nice relaxing place to spend my last spring break in college with a group of friends (12 in total) and this placed seemed great when I was looking around - we decided to live here because it had such great reviews already and thought hell why not. Needless to say out experience here was excellent. The rooms were very big (esp. the master bedroom) and the location was unbeatable. You could literally roll out of bed and walk to the beach, or pool (whichever you prefer). When we stayed many of the other homeowners in the complex weren't there so it was almost like having our own private beach, which was amazing. Since there were 12 of us, we all shared beds (there are 6 beds total). The guards were all very nice, and were helpful in providing us information about the town. The thing that I loved about planning this vacation was how easy it was. I was literally in contact with the management group and setup airport transportation to and from the airport as well as answering all my questions (I had a ton). We flew in from NYC to Santiago since plane tickets were cheaper. We all ended up cooking most of our food during our stay here, and yes the kitchen comes fully stocked with knives, plates, pans, etc. The super market was about a 10 minute walk on a sidewalk (it was called janets) and prices were pretty cheap too. If you didn't want to walk back to the apartment complex after getting some groceries you could ride a motorcycle back for 100 pesos. All the restaurants nearby were easily accessible by the beach or by the road. During our stay they even had a St. Patrick's day parade in town (there is one irish pub there called jose o'shay's). It was a lot of fun. I would HIGHLY recommend living here - the place is wonderful, the location is as close as you'll get to the center of town while still having a great place to stay. If you do end up going, I would recommend going through Iguana Mama and booking waterfall jumping tours if you are up for it (90 bucks will provide you with transportation, food, and 8 hours of fun). We did the 12 waterfall jump, the largest one was about 25ft. All of us were scared of heights, but we all still made it through. And rent the donkey if you do. You'll thank me later.

Such a perfect setting. We really enjoyed our first floor walkout condo. Patio was well used, pool was steps away and, of course, the ocean! We had body surfers in the group who enjoyed the waves. Also enjoyed watching the kite surfers. Did not need a car which was wonderful. Sonya arranged rides to and from the airports. We could walk to Janet’s, the grocery store, and the beachfront restaurants were great. Our favorite, though not on the beach, was right out the front door-Viento. Both Sonya and Eric were very responsive. We will be back.

Paradise

We had an amazing time in Cabarete and the condo was everything we could have hoped for. We could walk everywhere, had our choice of restaurants a stone's throw away and for someone who enjoys watersports it was heaven. We would return in a heartbeat.

Gorgeous views and comfortable space

Great property conveniently located on the beach. Views from the patio are of the infinity pool and ocean below. Walk out the back door and enjoy the sun, take some kite surfing lessons, or walk down the beach to the many restaurants for lunch, dinner, or drinks in the evening. Don't forget to leave through the front door occasionally to see the main road with other options/activities as well. Very convenient location. Great beach and pool. Nice apartment with everything you could possibly need. Can't wait to go back. Walkable to so many things.

Best location appartment view on the beach!

Beautiful apartment with spectacular view on the pool and the beach. Great for family Kids and Friends. Do all you need walking distance : Restaurants Bars and all activities sports: Kite Surfing, Horse back Riding, surfing... We even did an incredible Kite downwinder to Encuentro Beach with Eric the Owner of the property we rented! Great guy lot of fun! Really I would recommend this apartment to all my friends!! Great vacation time we had!

Luxurious Beachfront 4 bedroom was fantastic

We arrived to a very spacious, well equipped 4 bedroom luxurious apartment. Well worth staying here for kite boarding, swimming, sailing, windsurfing or to simply relax. The property is very central to everything and personally we felt that it was the very best apartment on the Cabarete Coastline. Every room is large and spacious. The front of the apartment flows directly out onto the front lawn and into the infinite edge pool. There is also two covered areas for outdoor entertaining whilst taking in the beautiful coastline and various water sports out the front. Restaurants are a short and easy stroll along the beach, or shops along the main street. Cabarete is friendly with many cultures and nationalities coming together to enjoy a top ten location in the world. We highly recommend this apartment to any family or group.

Everything was perfect!

We loved our stay! The condo was beautifully decorated and fantastically renovated. With four huge bedrooms, an enormous living room, and a kitchen fit for a chef, we were astonished by this apartment. Stepping out onto the private patio just a few steps from an amazing infinity pool that literally ends at the sand of the beach, you won't be disappointed. The pictures are REAL! Could not have been more perfect

We stayed at the condo for 2 weeks in December 2015. The condo is located on a prime location on Cabarete Bay and is perfect for families with young children. The complex was virtually empty the entire time we were there which was fantastic since we had full use of the pool and did not have to worry about our kids bothering other guests. We walked the beach to various restaurants for dinner every night and used the mopeds to get around when it was too far to walk. There were a couple small issues while we were there, but Sonja and her team took care of the small problems very quickly.

Cabarete Dream Vacation

Was the listing descripton accurate regarding the location, layout, amenities, etc? - Sealane Management was excellent and the description given was very accurate in regards to everything. It was prime location and was fully equipped and very nicely furnished. Was the property clean, was it well-maintained, etc? The property was clean and the maid service came every other day to clean the house, sheets, floors etc. The condo looked EXACTLY like what is in the pictures. Did the owner provide good customer service? Their manager was very good and hospitable. She was there to cater to every one of our needs. Would you recommend this property to a friend or relative Yes i would, I travelled there with most of my immediate family this year. We plan to go back next year. What activities, attractions and restaurants did you like or dislike My family took Kitesurfing Lessons at Club Nathalie Simon next door, Casita de Papi is an excellent restaurant on the beach among others (lax, pomodoro)! We had an amazing time! (by the way you DO NOT need to rent a car if you stay at this property)

Boys' Getaway!!!

When tents and hostels are below your standards and its time to move to affordable luxury, Harmony is the place to stay. We needed a spot on the water and comfortable for our lifestyle. Needless to say, the place was spacious for the four of us and had a great patio near the pool for hanging out on. The little town of Cabarete is right next door and has some really great restaurants like Miros and Nikki Beach. We spent many a night at Lax and Ojos after kiting all day. Very friendly people in Cabarete!

Lap of Luxury

The ideal place for relaxing and reading! I loved the modern furnishings, ample space, excellent amenities, convenient location, and beautiful infinity pool in front of the bay. The incredible moves of the kitesurfers are particularly enjoyable when you need to stretch the eye muscles beyond the inside of a book. I've always been one to avoid the chain hotels and franchise restaurants and it was such a delight that Cabarete has remained immune to the corporate takeover. There is one main street with charming boutiques, restaurants, clubs, supermarkets, excursion tours, and spas. Everything you need is found right there and so close to Harmony. Getting around is so easy, too. Cars are not needed cause all you have to do is walk to the entrance and a selection of motoconchos are at your disposal. The drivers are eagerly waiting to whisk you to your desired destination whether it is a few seconds to a spinning class or an hour's distance to a ranch for horseback riding. They are so friendly and very inexpensive. You can't get that service and price with renting a car.

With a passion for nature, animals, salsa and water sports (windsurfing, surfing and kitesurfing) it was just natural , after 20 years of intense NYC tech-corporate life , to fall in love with the boutique village of CABARETE.

A dream place I could easily travel to, while staying well-connected and enjoying all the activities this amazing place has to offer.

As a father, it was also imperative there be the utmost security for my 3 children.
I love being able to combine in one day so many activities without having to spend any time driving, which leaves more time for social life and a perfect balance of work and play!!

My priority in life is now to share the experience of such an extraordinaire place with my guests.
Addicted to kiteboarding (since 1999!!), I am developing internationally an emerging kitesurfing brand and CABARETE is the best showroom I could possibly find …. I also love to organize A+ downwinders to Encuentro for our kitesurfing visitors.

My guest manager Sonja and I can be found right in the beachfront residence where the condos are located and take great pride in being responsive to any of our renters' needs. Since we are local, we deal with our guests directly – from all guest services to maintenance and anything in between. All of our properties are fully furnished and have all the amenities to make you feel right at home!
