Our Guest House is located in the heart of the Baker historic neighborhood in a hip, diverse, urban setting. Situated on a quiet, tree lined street, the apartment reflects an eclectic, artistic style. There is original art throughout the place, exposed brick walls, hardwood floors, ceramic tiles and a mix of old and new. It is nice, relaxed and very comfortable.
This is a great place to stay while in Denver, whether for work or play. The idea for our guest house was to create a place that we would want to stay while we are in town!
This ground floor unit is 650 sq. ft. with a private entrance to your home away from home. It has 1 large bedroom with office, WiFi, a full kitchen with a dishwasher and microwave. Plus a washer/dryer in the unit.
The bedroom is very large with a Queen bed and there is a desk and work area. All the office supplies that are stocked here can be used, including an HP printer and scanner. Guests can even use the art supplies if they like.
There is a shared deck off the bedroom that is situated in a beautiful, mature garden. Our guests really like this feature, they say it's a great place to sit and enjoy their morning coffee.
A 3 block walk to art galleries, unique boutiques, vintage furniture stores, indie movies, book stores, coffee houses, yoga, pilates and a great mix of restaurants and nightlife.
6 block walk to light-rail, a 3 minute drive to the Santa Fe Arts District with scores of galleries, a 5 to 7 minute drive to downtown and a 10 minute drive to the Cherry Creek shopping district.
A few of our guests have been traveling nurses, who are looking for their home away from home while they work at nearby hospitals for an extended time, from 2 to 4 months, and they really like how comfortable the place feels and how convenient it is to their temporary assignments.

I loved staying there for two months. It's a charming and cute little property with very friendly people around. It's a great location with some retail shops and grocery store close by. Some of the furniture was a bit tired but it was well-equipped. It's a fair price for what you get. I would definitely come back next summer.
My husband and I were very comfortable and well-tended. The apartment has a great vibe, the art and decor reflect talent and good taste. The neighborhood is a wonderful launch pad for exploring Denver and the close by parks and mountains. Parking is a breeze right in front on the street. We highly recommend this apartment for a couple.
This apartment is one of the best places we've rented for our vacations. It is clean, beautiful, very well decorated and it is a perfect place to stay when traveling. Bari and Susan were very prompt to respond to our inquiries, never leaving a shadow of doubt that they were absolutely helpful and nice. The place is fully equipped and the attention to the details is seen all around. We highly recommend this place for your next vacation! Cecilia and Derek
Enjoyed the stay tremendously. Great driving connections to both downtown and greater Denver. Also easy access to both the Cherry Creek and North Platte bike trails. Easy walking distance to Broadway retail area and to Sante Fe art district. Would gladly rent the place again. The next door, full-time renter was readily available for key pick-up/drop-off, questions, etc.
The owner, Bari, and his neighbor, Sue who is on-site to answer questions and let you into the apartment were easy to work with and our stay was very easy. There is plenty of street parking and in the Denver Car2Go zone if you use the smart car rental service. Every evening there are a few trains that run through town about midnight, 3 am and 6 am which we were not accustomed to hearing at night. The apartment is clean, comfortable, has a nice bathroom with washer and dryer and located a few blocks from Broadway street where there are lots of trendy bars, restaurants, shops etc. - one of our favorites was Historians Ale House, the fried cheese curds and pork chop entree were worth the stay alone. We were thrilled that there was a printer available since we had tickets for an event and that made it easy to bring those with us. This place has pretty much everything you need for a short or longer stay.
The second we opened the front door, we felt like we were at home. It is a cozy, quiet apartment in the Historic Baker District with a trendy, yet, comfortable feel. A quick call to Bari, and he gave us all of the details we needed to get started. When we got there, we were able to meet Sue and Leslie (tenants of the building) right away; they gave us great ideas of things to do and places to eat while we were there. The apartment is centrally located to everything one could think of doing while in Denver; 10 minutes to Downtown, a half hour from Red Rocks, an hour from Boulder, two hours from Rocky Mtn. National Park, and an hour and a half to Pikes Peak. A quick ten minute walk down the street brought us to Broadway Street where there are many trendy places to eat, drink, and shop. A visit to the Flatirons in Chautauqua Park or Eldorado State Park near Boulder is a must for any hiker. Hope you have as much fun as we did!
6 block walk to light-rail and a 10 minute drive to Cherry Creek Mall. A 3 block walk to unique boutiques, vintage furniture stores, indie movies, book stores, coffee houses, yoga, pilates and a great mix of restaurants and nightlife.
