Sturgeon Bay is the kind of place where every day feels like an invitation to explore—and Door County only makes it better. Start close to home with a walk or bike ride along the canal and historic bridge paths, where boats glide by and the views never get old. For the best perspective in town, hike to the top of the newly reopened Historic Potawatomi Observation Tower—the climb is worth it for those sweeping bay views.
When it’s time to sip something local, you’re spoiled for choice. Bridge Up Brewing and Starboard Brewing are Sturgeon Bay favorites, each offering relaxed vibes and creative brews. From there, wander into the shopping districts and fuel up at beloved eateries like Get Real Café, Blue Front Café, or Kitty O’Reilly’s Irish Pub, famous for its unbeatable summer atmosphere, outdoor seating, and lively alley bar.
Dinner plans? You can’t go wrong with CRATE, Del Santo’s, or a scenic drive to Donny’s Glidden Lodge for that classic Wisconsin supper club experience. Keep things casual with summer food truck staples like Papa B’s and Mauricio’s, then finish the night on a sweet note at Door County Gelato—a must-stop treat.
Venture north to explore Door County’s vibrant gallery scene, featuring local artists and tucked-away studios. Nature lovers will adore the Door County Land Trust properties, offering peaceful hikes and stunning overlooks, or a day at Whitefish Dunes State Park, including its dog-friendly beach.
Whether you’re here for food, art, adventure, or sunsets that stop you in your tracks, Door County delivers something unforgettable every time.
Guests will have full access to this home and backyard.
