The loft is a 125m2 (about 1300 sq ft.) flat which has been totally refurbished by an architect and high quality / design materials and furniture.

It has a huge living room with convertible sofa, a TV space, and a dining space. It has an open kitchen with all equipments and 4 double bedrooms with 4* Queen size beds (160x200), 2 bathrooms, 2 WC toilets and a big dressing.

The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking plate, microwave, fridge, Nespresso machine, kettle, pans, toaster, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, ...).

Curtains are almost everywhere to bring darkness by night and privacy. The loft is at the ground floor in a courtyard of a nice typical Parisian building with a big garden. It is very quiet and very bright thanks to a lot of windows.

Perfect Paris VRBO

We had a wonderful time is this lovely apartment. It is very spacious, close to cafes and rail lines, and easy to find. We stayed with a large group of 8 people and were very comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again!

This property was a great choice for our group of 7. The bathroom set up was odd (both toilets located in same area far from bedrooms) but worked out fine. Beds were comfortable. I contacted the owner for towels and was quick to respond. Flat is five minutes from the metro line and easily accessible to all the city

Nice Flat

Host was responsive and kind. Flat was well organized and clean. I would not recommend planning to use the washing machine as that didn’t work as expected. Great for groups of friends or family with 4 regular bedrooms. Kitchens had tools to cook and eat with.

Quiet location with easy access to the Metro. Great choice of cafes, eateries, bakeries, patisseries and bars in the area. Spacious apartment. Requires some maintenance particularly in the kitchen and some new towels as the ones provided were old. Would have been helpful to have extra supplies of bath soap, toilet paper, extra towels and some hand towels along with some washing powder, considering the amount paid for the week. The art is also looking old and somewhat dusty. Really needs a good overall deep clean. Communication with the host was very good. He was prompt in responding to requests or queries.

Good property. Very responsive and helpful owner

This spacious property was within and looked onto the garden of a complex. There are 4 bedrooms, each with double beds, 2 toilets & showers. The small kitchen area has a Nespresso machine, dishwasher, microwave, & mini worksurface oven. A hairdryer was available. The drawers contained a number of spices left by previous residents, & there was a a loaf of fresh bread in the cupboard. However, it would’ve been helpful to have had some milk and a couple of other, common essentials available. The beds, duvets & pillows were comfortable. We had on a couple of occasions loud music from the adjacent property – the building caretaker asked them to turn it down once, and I popped over once. On both occasions, they did so without any issue. The property was reasonably clean. There are a couple of minor maintenance issues, but nothing that detracted from the stay overall, eg. water from the main shower leaking onto the floor, poorly fitting drawers, and a wobbly toilet seat. The property is located in a residential area, and as such felt safe. It is just a couple of minutes walk from a number of shops, delicatessens & restaurants, and no more than 5 mins walk from Gambetta Metro station. Getting into the centre of town doesn’t take very long & is very easy. The property owner was extremely responsive to questions before & during the stay, & often responded within minutes . Thank you Florian. This is an ideal property for a family.

Requires attention to detail

Whilst we enjoyed our stay in this well located property, there were a number of issues that contributed to our ratings. Fortunately, we were not a party of 8, because one of the dining chairs was broken [photograph available, if required], and crockery was limited. However, issues of most concern to us included the discovery of three items of mouldy food which had been left in the kitchen cupboards [photographs also available, if required}. While the bathrooms were superficially acceptable, on closer examination it became clear that drains were blocked with hair, and thorough cleaning had not taken place for some time [photograph available if required]. It was also apparent that the lack of proper cleaning had not taken place as we discovered a false nail, an odd sock, pencil shavings, an ear plug, etc. under beds and in draws. A significant safety concern to us was the location of the microwave oven beyond the reach of all our adult party members except one: it cannot be expected that users should climb on a chair to access this equipment. Finally, the lack of a property manual meant that we did not know how to adjust the heating; dispose of rubbish, including recycling; and access the car park other than through the front gate. Notwithstanding these serious matters of concern, the local facilities - particularly shops and restaurants - were ideal for our purposes, and we all enjoyed our stay.

Die Wohnung ist für eine Gruppe perfekt! Wir waren 8 Erwachsene und die Wohnung hatte für uns genau die richtige Größe. Sie war auch sehr sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit.

Sehr schöne Zeit in Paris

Vielen Dank an unseren Gastgeber. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und unseren Aufenthalt genossen. Die Wohnung liegt sehr ruhig und ist ausgesprochen gut ausgestattet. Ein Tipp für FilterkaffeetrinkerInnen: Filter und Kanne müssten mitgebracht werden. Zur nächsten Metrostation sind es 5 Minuten zu Fuß, eine Bushaltestelle liegt quasi um die Ecke, so dass z.B. der Louvre in max. 30 Minuten zu erreichen ist. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es reichlich Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Weiterer Tipp: wer den ganz in der Nähe liegenden Friedhof Pére Lachaise besuchen und die Gräber berühmter Persönlichkeiten finden möchte, sollte sich in einem der Blumenläden einen detaillierten Lageplan kaufen.

Great for family reunion!

The loft was spacious and comfortable for our family reunion of 8 (2 families of 4). Great location! The only downside was ventilation. While there were large windows on one side, there was very limited ventilation in the interior bedroom and bathrooms/showers.

Nice, enormous flat!

This flat is massive by any standards, and particularly Parisian. Easy ground-floor access through a large, well-kept courtyard with very few steps to navigate, which is always helpful when toting luggage. Very comfortable beds and bedding. While many hosts are "generous" in their descriptions of the walk to public transportation, five minutes is completely accurate, and the route to the Gambetta station is a straight shot from the flat. The neighborhood offers numerous nice grocery, patisserie, boulangerie, fromagerie, dining, etc. options. Our driver from Gard du Nord asked why we were staying so far out in an area where there was "nothing to see," but we found that line of thinking to be erroneous as it was quite nice to be away from the crush of tourists in Paris city-center and a very short walk from Paris' largest and most interesting cemeterie, Pere Lachaise. (We highly recommend Rick Steves' audio walking tour of Pere Lachaise for an enjoyable few hours of "real" Paris that will clearly direct your route to the graves of Chopin, Moliere, Oscar Wilde, Gertrude Stein and Jim Morrison, among others.) The bathroom set up in a bit unusual, but it wasn't an issue for us. One large bath near the bedrooms has a lovely shower, double sink and the washer (no toilet). A second full bath includes a smaller shower, small sink and toilet behind a pocket door, with the second toilet and third bathroom sink for the flat right next to that small full bath. Because both toilets can be utilized privately with separate doors, this isn't an issue; simply note that they are on the opposite side of the flat from the bedrooms. Again, it wasn't an issue for us, and we had the maximum eight guests sharing the flat. A folder of information regarding the appliances, neighborhood, etc. would have been helpful, but we made do without. The building is probably almost always quiet, although we hit a national holiday (Ascension Day) and a crazy loud, late party in the flat next door that shares a wall with two of the bedrooms. While unfortunate for us, that was likely an unusual situation and isn't reflected in our rating as we would recommend this flat and the neighborhood to anyone.
