Great family escape

Spring ski trip

Eastern Star Resort is fabulous. It was extremely clean, comfortable beds and very well stocked. We loved our stay here and if we ever come back to Taos we would definitely stay again. The owners are responsive and gave suggestions on things to do. The location is perfect- far enough from Taos to see the night sky but close enough to be convenient.

Fabulous Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful time in your home. When it snowed the Friday after Thanksgiving the view was like looking at a postcard. We look forward to staying again the next time we are in Taos.

Second time to stay here; remodel to kitchen and added bath are good additions. Blueberry Hill traffic has greatly increased and car noise is becoming an issue. Check in was seamless.

Thank you for being our return guest! We added the third full bath and extended the living room and kitchen area in 2014 so that was sometime ago. We continue to update our home and that includes upgrading our kitchen countertop to a beautiful, imported granite slab in October 2024. Over the years and certainly post pandemic, like many parts of the country, the geographic and population shifts in and around Taos are inevitable. Happily, the Taos landscape is still very much preserved, and most homes outside of Taos proper have acreage and still only dot the land. There are much to enjoy outdoors including walking and hiking the plains, viewing the mountain peaks and wide-open, starry sky at night, exploring hidden lakes, and visiting historical sites and local art galleries .

Perfect and Beautiful Base Camp for Northern New Mexico

We spent a week at the Eastern Star. It was wonderful. The place had everything we needed and our hosts were very responsive to the questions we hit them with. It was a great location to explore the region from. Our kids already asked when we are coming back.

PERFECT!!!

Beautiful home with quick access to the slopes and downtown shops. Could not have been better for our family of seven. Loved the hot tub and all this home had to offer!!

Wonderful Stay

We stayed at this lovely home while attending Michael Hearne’s Big Barn Dance. The owners have thought of every detail in making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The home is beautifully furnished and is located close enough to Taos to be there in 10 minutes but far away enough to see the stars at night! The Mountain View was beautiful from everywhere in the house. Highly recommend staying here!
