The home is located in the coveted Blueberry Hill area, next to one of Taos’ main paved roads. No 4WD or lengthy drive on spine-jolting gravel roads is involved! Home sits high on a 3-acre lot with privacy fence. It is 5.5 miles from Taos Plaza and a quick, easy drive to restaurants, shops, sights, and outdoor recreational activities including fly fishing, biking, hiking, horseback riding, skiing, snowboarding, white water rafting, and golfing.

The first master bedroom is complete with a wood-burning fireplace and an en suite bath with double sinks. The second master bedroom also sports an en suite full bath with double sinks. Both en suite baths have large walk-in shower for easy, convenient access. The third bathroom is located next door to the third bedroom, and it has a bathtub and shower combo. Eastern Star Retreat is a single level, modern, custom-built adobe-style home. No sunken living room or baths like many homes in this area. No steps or spiral staircase to climb or maneuver. Certainly, convenient and safe home features for all members of the family.

The radiant floor heating system under the Saltillo tiles provides gentle, even, warm air throughout home in the winter months. In the warmer months (from late May to September), the evaporative cooling system naturally changes the warm, dry air of this region into cool, moist air inside the home.
