Situado a los pies de la montaña de Taos en el aro carretera Valdez, Stella Luna, nuestra 1,500 pies cuadrados, dos dormitorios, dos baño principal se encuentra en una calle tranquila. Es tan sólo 15 minutos de las pistas de Taos Ski Valley, a 15 minutos de la ciudad de Taos y Taos Plaza, ya 5 minutos de la encantadora localidad de Arroyo Seco. extraordinarias vistas en todas las direcciones, techos altos, grandes ventanales, y un plano de planta que ofrece tanto espacio abierto y la intimidad se unen para crear un hogar que amablemente le da la bienvenida de vuelta después de un día de esquí, turismo o compras. De hecho, si usted es como nosotros, puede que nunca quieren irse Stella Luna en absoluto!

Nuestra hermosa casa ofrece una amplia suite principal con una cama de matrimonio, que se adjunta oficina / guardería, TV / DVD, una bañera de hidromasaje, y walk-in closet y vestidor. This home is so warm and welcoming. I felt held the entire time I was there. From wonderful warm, lighting to all of the types of furniture you could need including sofa, kitchen table, dining room table, and everything I think you could need in the kitchen. To having such comfortable and soft bedding in the master bedroom. A wonderful soaking tub, a hot tub, covered patio out back, including a full length lawn chair to lay out and look at the stars at night and a fire pit with chairs out front. Beautiful 360 views for sunsets and mountains. It’s just absolutely stunning. And when I arrived in the evening, I was met by two large mule deer. What a wonderful greeting. The drive is maybe 10 minutes from town. So secluded and quiet and serene and I would absolutely rent again. The house was very accommodating and I really enjoyed my stay. I strongly recommend The Stella Luna. She will take care of you.

Everything was perfect at this property! We met our granddaughter & her husband here for a 3 night stay. We loved the property so much we stayed in every night & played games. The host left fresh bread, wine, chips & salsa & fruit. The kids enjoyed the hot tub & we enjoyed the views & sunsets. We all hope to return to this beautiful haven.

Everything was perfect!Communication with the host was very easy, and quick response time. We used the hot tub every evening. Temperature was good. Kitchen had all that we needed and more. A nice touch were snacks , wine, and flowers left for us.The views from all the windows and the outdoor seating areas were amazing!!The hikes we came to do were within an easy drive.And the bed in the master bedroom was just what we needed after all our hard hikes.I would definitely recommend this home, and I would love to stay here again in the future.

Perfect location for all things recreationally Taos; great hospitality and spotless property; all kitchen essentials provided; although it lists ac in amenities, there were only fans and open windows to keep it cool; not too much of a problem, but it would have been nice to have on the hot afternoons; admit to being surprised about the check in procedure where we were met by a host representative at the property and shown around; that was a first for Vrbo experiences for us; overall great experience and would stay here again if ever back in the area

Home base for work and adventure

We spent a fabulous week at the house, doing a combo of WFH and adventuring around Taos. House was super comfortable, views were spectacular, so nice just to sit out in the hot tub and watch the stars come out / hear the crickets start up. Very grateful places like this exist.

Very well stocked house. Host was very responsive when communicating. Technology such as televisions could use some updating but overall very satisfied. Would stay here again if in the area.

Perfect sanctuary for a ski trip

We love the kiva fireplace and plentiful firewood, the backyard hot tub with the clear view of the stars, the mule deer that graze through the area in the early evening. Great location between the town of Taos and the ski valley. It's so amazing how quiet and still the setting is. Fresh fruit and bread in the kitchen on our arrival; the heated tile floor, breakfast at the kitchen table by the front window. Thanks for allowing us to enjoy the home!

A Perfect Stay

Stella Luna is a lovely casita and located in a perfect spot in between Taos and the Ski Valley. I was there for the month of February and could not have been happier or more pleased with the property. The casita is beautifully decorated and has everything one could need, including a kitchen with every think one can imagine. It is well designed for two couples or two friends as the layout separates the bedroom spaces from the central living area. Sanjay is very responsive if there are questions or issues. It was just a delight to stay there.

Serene retreat with stunning mountain views.

Lovely and peaceful with amazing views of the surrounding mountains. Close enough to town to explore all the wonderful shops, galleries and dining (if you don't feel like cooking), but remote enough for a restful retreat. I enjoyed being able to explore the surrounding areas and have a 'base camp' to return to for a nice hot tub under the stars. Super friendly and responsive host. I highly recommend.

Peaceful Retreat

What a wonderful place to get away from it all. Stella Luna is a beautiful, well appointed home in a peaceful and serene location. We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay and the lovely flowers, swarms of hummingbirds, star filled skies and frogs croaking us to sleep were the cherry on top. Check in and check out we’re fast and easy. Appreciated the fresh fruit, and delicious blue corn tortilla chips and salsa to snack on. We not only felt like guest, but like we were wanted there. I would love to stay at Stella Luna again the next time we are in the Taos area. Thanks for a fabulous long weekend.

Thoughtful and responsive hosts

Quiet and located near trailheads, Arroyo Seco, and Taos. When my husband called to ask for the shade sails to be adjusted so that the anchor points wouldn't bang against the house, they had it fixed in 24 hours. Betttina met us and supplied local food supplies and wine to help us settle in. All around great property and management team.

Relaxing

We enjoyed our stay at Stella Luna and would definitely come back. It's a very peaceful, quiet setting. The views from the hot tub at night are just fantastic. The house is well stocked. Bettina made sure everything was ready including some fresh cut flowers on the dining table and fresh fruit. Great hosts.

Lovely warm home located perfectly between Taos and TSV. The house is very cozy and well stocked with lots of goodies left for us like fruit, fresh bread, eggs, coffee, etc. Everything is of high quality.

Beautiful, comfortable property

Stayed at Stella Luna for a week with my spouse and another couple. The house was gorgeous and comfortable. Sanjay & Bettina were gracious and helpful. The neighborhood is quiet and rural, but very close to Taos. We can't wait to go back!

In 1979 as a new immigrant to the US , I came out to NM to attend St. John’s College in Santa Fe. Plato and Aristotle, Aeschylus and Shakespeare, Kant, Baudelaire, Einstein, and Dante brought me to NM. But it was this land itself, with its stark, bright light, dramatic landscape, rich culture and the many friendships I made here that kept me coming back.

After a 13-year career working for a number of SF Bay Area retail companies (The Nature Company/Discovery Channel Stores, The North Face, Illuminations, Restoration Hardware, etc.), in operations, human resources and real estate/construction, including managing several multi-store roll outs, I followed the woman I love to northern NM in 2002, to set down roots, invest in real estate and to make Taos home.

Here in Taos I have enjoyed becoming a part of a community that is diverse, creative and serious. There is nothing like involvement in the life and institutions of a community to build relationships and to make sense of how it all works. My own interests and those of my step children have been my guide: I became a part of the Taos Soccer Coalition, a couple of Acequias in the Taos Valley, the Friends of Anansi Charter School, the Board of the Taos Ski Team and Intermezzo of the Santa Fe Opera. In addition I served for six years on the Board of Visitors and Governors of St. John’s College which has campuses in both Santa Fe, NM and Annapolis, MD. Today I serve on the boards of the Taos Land Trust and of the Quail Roost Foundation. I believe in the long term value of real estate in northern NM.
