Entire house with nobody else onsite. Located between downtown Taos and Taos Ski Valley (TSV). Sits on Blueberry Hill with amazing 360° views. Less than 10 minutes to center plaza and only 25 minutes to the base of TSV. A rare two-story house featuring a large upstairs deck, perfect for birdwatching, listening to coyotes, and viewing stars. The spiral staircase may not be suitable for all. This was once the home of Ray Vinella, one of the original Taos 6 artists.

The house was very nice- plenty of space for people to sleep and hang out. We were about 25mins from the ski slope and a short drive into the main area of town where all the restaurants are. Would stay again!

Beautiful home with great mountain views! Only 7-10 mins to everything in Taos and close easy drive to 2 ski resorts, Taos & Sipapu. Easy check in / out; cool upstairs deck and awesome woodburning stove.

We loved staying here! The house was so comfortable. There were six of us and it had everything we needed! Plenty of outdoor chairs to watch sunsets and look at the stars, on the upstairs deck.... It also had a very nice table and chairs on the patio. There were more than enough towells, and there was hand soap in the bathrooms (which can be a pet peeve of mine), plenty of blankets, and the bathroom was heated, which was wonderful because it was very cold this morning! The beds were comfortable, the bunk beds were full size, which was wonderful! There was every appliance in the kitchen we could ask for. The hosts were very responsive, and seemed very nice! I could go on and on! I highly recommend staying at this great house!

Excellent house

We enjoyed our stay here. The house is well stocked for cooking. You can easily cook meals as the kitchen has a great assortment of items. Also, the house has thought of the amenities you need and provided. It was very modern and comfortable. The tv channels are many and allow you to watch all your streaming stations. Ryan and Christina were very responsive. I would definitely stay here again when in Taos.

Sojourn to Taos

We arrived on Monday May 5, to temperature and cloudiness much like our home in northern Ohio. We found in 5 Short Rd. a great comfort after our long drive, and inclement weather. The next morning four inches of snow on the ground , the surrounding landscape was breath taking.The views at 5 Short Rd are excellent, the home had everything we needed, we are reluctant to leave and will return (hopefully) I cannot speak highly enough of our hosts, the were accommodating in any aspect.

Through the arctic blast, we kept warm

We had a super time at the house in El Prado. It was cozy and warm for us and the dogs. The views of the mountains are wonderful, and the location was great...away from the bustle and traffic of downtown. It was also close to a favorite restaurant, The Love Apple which we visited when we weren't cooking in the well equipped kitchen. We had everything we needed. We will return when it's warm enough to ski!

Taos ski trip

We had 4 people but the house could easily fit more. Check in was easy and had great communication with the owner. Location to town / ski resort was perfect. The house was clean and completely ready to go when we arrived. The views were amazing. I hope the property is available on my next trip.

Extended family vacation

We stayed with 5 adults, a teenager and 7 year old. The kitchen was well stocked. It was only a few miles from Taos, but far enough the neighborhood was peaceful. Upstairs balcony has a great view. Our misread was that there were 4 separate bedrooms. There are 3 with a pullout sofa in the living room. We still worked it out and it is defined in the description, our misread. :) Would definitely recommend this property to others.

Perfect Family Stay

Ryans place is the perfect location for our group. All ages from 2 to 62. Communication was great and any questions we had were answered within just a few minutes. Will stay again.

This home was one of the very best VRBO properties we have ever stayed in. Every detail has been considered to reflect the uniqueness of Taos. The property was extremely clean, owner very responsive and location quiet but not remote from town access. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.

Beautiful Home and Views

We had a lovely stay at Ryan's beautiful home. The place was very clean and cozy and had spectacular views of the mountains and the vast plains. The property is in a great location that's very quiet and easy to get to nearby restaurants, the town of Taos, and to to the Taos ski resort. Ryan is a great communicator and is very helpful.

Great stay in El Prado! Well appointed home just outside of town, not too far from ski resorts, had everything we needed. Host was communicative, helpful, would stay again!
