This unit’s causal beach-inspired décor has a picturesque view from the furnished ninth-floor balcony. You'll love the burnished floors, comfortable furniture, and welcoming ambiance as soon as you step inside this spacious home.

The living room features two sofas, a leather recliner, a TV, and a DVD player. The condo is carpeted throughout except the tiled full kitchen. The upgraded kitchen features stainless appliances with a full-size washer/dryer tucked into the kitchen closet. The dining table seats six, and the breakfast bar has four additional bar stools.

The primary bedroom offers access to the balcony and a beautiful view of the beach, plus an additional TV and DVD player. The guest bedroom also includes a TV and DVD player.

Don't forget to take advantage of the shared hot tub and heated pool after a long day of sightseeing with friends. Afterward, take the elevator to easily access this ninth-floor suite. When evening falls, adjourn to the balcony to listen to the rolling waves over a nice glass of wine with someone you love.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The unit had a beautiful view and the complex pool/hot tub were great.The unit needs some overall TLC - dining room chairs are soiled and need to be cleaned. The balcony furniture is old - metal is rusted - chaise is torn and not safely usable. Main bathroom has a hole in the wall and needs painted. The metal sliding doors are very difficult to open/close.Lastly, a binder of how to use things/get into places would be a nice addition.

Incredible Stay

I’ve been coming to Destin since I was a baby, this was an absolutely wonderful trip. The room and views are stunning, the condo is adorable and very clean! They had everything we needed, on the beach easy access. Quiet relaxing stay wouldn’t change a thing!

Will not be back.

1 Need Outlet cover by TV table 2 Dryer vent connection needs to be checked. Lots of humidity. 3 Porch light and laundry area light needs to be replaced 4 Right back burner on stove Will not heat 5 Microwave frame broke at bottom 6 King bed very squeaky on patio side 7 Couch cushions need to be restuffed. Very uncomfortable 8 Only had 2 working elevators on opposite ends of the property. 9 If the owners are not going to allow check-in before 4pm, they do not need to send the door code prior to 4pm. It causes miscommunication and we had to sit outside the door for an hour with our newborn and all our luggage. The condo was clean and ready. There was no reason not to let us in. We will not be staying at this property again.

Miramar Beach ~ Edgewater 🏝️

Nice property & location is great. Complex itself needs updated elevators. I read prior to booking reviews that this has been an issue for >year. As of day 2 only one elevator for the entire complex with 16+ floors. Also, second pool was roped off & we couldn’t use the entire week we were there without explanation.

Great location, great place!

The condo was well appointed, and had everything we needed. It was quiet and cozy. The location of the complex is amazing. The only negative is that the master bed mattress squeaks when you move even the slightest.

Close to the beach!

A group of friends and I stayed at this unit and had a lovely time! Close to the beach and had greats pools and a hot tub. You can rent umbrellas and chairs on the beach so you don’t have to bring your own.

Clean. Beautifully updated. Convenient. The outside of the entire facility is getting a fresh coat of paint and they are updating the elevators but all the work didn’t interfere with our trip. We still had a great time and enjoyed the pool and the beach.

Very clean condo with magnificent view

The condo seems recently painted and updated and it was very clean. From the front windows you can admire the magnificently clear gulf water and the beautiful pool. Very comfortable and enjoyable

Room was disgusting

I was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the room, or lack there of. Stains all over the carpet and couch. Marks and scuffs all over the walls. Stains on bed skirt. Spider webs in every corner of the room. Room needs to be deep cleaned thoroughly.

Disappointing

The resort is lovely and the location is awesome. But we were disappointed with the condo. Upon arrival there was no parking pass for our vehicle, the sinks in the bathrooms weren't draining and the biggest disappointment was the sliding door in the master bedroom. It didn't even open. Our first hour of arriving was spent waiting online to speak to Vacasa maintenance. The sliding door was not fixed and no one bothered to give us an explanation. We specifically wanted a master bedroom with a door out to the balcony. When you pay nearly $3000 for a weeks stay you expect everything to be working. Or at least tell us ahead of time the things that don't work. Disappointing!

Master room problem

We all really enjoyed our stay there! The beds were very comfortable, the place was clean and view was great! The main problem for me was that the master balcony slide door was broken, as in, it was locked and the lock was broken off with no way to open the door which wasn’t a big deal because of the living room balcony except that there was a draft through the broken door into our room and it would get hot at night.

It was very clean upon arrival, and the stay was very nice.

Quick access to pools and the beach. Many good places to eat inthe area. Walmart and major shopping places nearby. Would definitely rent again.

We absolutely loved where we stayed! Check in was easy, place was clean, beach access was amazing, tiki bar is so fun and convenient, and it’s easy walking distance to anything you may need! We will be back!

Stunning View, Ample Room, Needs a Deep Cleaning

Stunning view, ample room and nice layout, balcony, pools, hot tub, fitness area, and clean beach. Upon arrival smelled very clean but needs a deep cleaning and a little TLC. Carpet and dining room chair badly stained and made us feel like it was dirty. My opinion, at least replace that carpet or put in laminate flooring. Table chairs and coffee table wobbly. Child dirty sock on living room chair. Second bathroom tub drained very slow when showering and toilet was wobbly. Master bathroom had several strands of hair throughout and mirror had what looked like liquid make up on it. Master bedroom may offer access to balcony but is taped closed, and dead bug squished on dresser. Cigarette butts on balcony... could be due to wind carrying? Emergency evacuation went over speaker system in room. Only 4 people went outside. Asked front office what was going on and they knew nothing about an alarm. They do not manage units rented out through VRBO/VACASA. Sent text to VACASA and within minutes new speaker message canceled out false fire alarm. Most of communication via text was responded to quickly and they offered to contact cleaning service to come back in. One communication posted through VRBO was not answered until 5 days later. Despite smaller issues described, was a spectacular view and appreciated the amenities available.

Everyone but the people who were in the units run by vacasa had key cards to get in the gate.

Vacasa does not use the key cards for the gate and did not communicate the procedure to get in. I sat at the gate for 20 minutes one night before another guest let me in.

Unit 0903 review, July 2021

The full kitchen and laundry were just what our family needed for vacation. The drying rack was a bonus. Thumbs up on that. The beds were comfy (which cannot be said about other overnite stays on our vacation). However, the carpeting throughout the condo is old and stained. There was food left in the garbage disposal which shot out when my husband turned it on. The wifi was nonexistent. We had to piggyback on nearby networks which was spotty at best. The hurricane door to the patio from the master bedroom was completely taped off (which was reported in reviews last summer). The shower curtains AND curtain liners were absolutely disgusting. They blocked ALL the light from inside the tub/shower. The tub/showers have a high stepover and their weird shape funnels water right onto the floor. There is no overhead lighting in most rooms. They rely on switched outlets and lamps. None of the rooms had working lighting. My husband and I were forced to go through each room and figure out which outlets were switched so the lamps could be turned on at the door. There were not enough light bulbs for all the lamps in the condo. Beware that early checkin is not possible (at least when going through vacasa) and the condo does not include beach chair rental.

Wonderful Place!!!

903 was perfect for our family vacation needs. The view of the gulf from the balcony was beautiful. Check in and check out were done with ease. We loved the pool and amenities.

Overall we had a great week!

Overall we had a great week! We had stayed at the Edgewater in the past in a different unit so we were familiar with the complex. There are some areas of opportunity in the specific units though. The Internet did not work, the electricity went off multiple times, eventually causing the toaster and microwave not to work. Also, there were limited cooking pans/utensils, (no bacon sheet or scissors etc ) There was also no hair dryer. 3 of the 6 nights we were there we were woken up by a very loud emergency announcement at 7am that ended up being disregarded. We came home to a handyman getting in our door with tools saying he was putting in a new doorstop... And to top it off I had to kill a very LARGE bug crawling up the wall in the master bedroom. We were so busy having fun in the sun that we weren’t in the unit very much other than to sleep and had a blast with our friends and family for spring break. I would def recommend the Edgewater and will definitely be back, but a few updating / upgrades for 903 would help! Thanks so much.
