Love Serenity Point!

My 2 teenage boys and I go every year to the beach for a week. This house in Serenity Point is perfect! Great location. Quiet neighborhood. Nice beach gear. Comfortable, well decorated, home. We love it and will be back!

Very relaxing area, nice condo. Just a comment, watch the cooktop, right side front did not seem to be adjustable, was on high and would not turn down. Everything else worked fine.

Restful stay

We love this location for the peaceful location and abundance of nature. The units at Serenity Point are very comfortable and well appointed.

Relaxing retreat

The house is situated on the southern most point and backed up to a nature preserve. It was nice and quiet with great views but also with easy access to the beach. The house has nice outdoor sitting areas for taking in the sea breezes, as well as eating with the family. The beach at this end of the island was very pretty and we saw dolphins on two occasions. It also has sound access and we were able to walk around the south point for evening walks. The house was well stocked with pots and pans pans for cooking. All rooms were well cleaned and had comfortable beds after a long day at the beach. We loved this location so much and hope to return again.

Great get away!

Spent a long weekend at Serenity Point and it was exactly what we wanted! Great property - Very clean and comfortable. We loved sitting on the back deck listening to the waves. Also appreciated the area being quieter as compared to other parts of the island. We loved the small beach on the sound side - 2 minute walk so super convenient! Will definitely go back!

Much needed summer vacation

We are a family of 5 from Pennsylvania. We loved our stay at this home in TI. It is an adorable, clean, well stocked house. The house was a perfect size for our family of five. The loft was a fun “fort” for our 7 year old. It is close to the pool as well as a short walk to the beach access. It’s a cute quiet community. There is a short drive to a couple of ice cream shops and a small market which had a couple of necessities we needed to make lunches when taking a mid day break from the beach. We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a relaxing vacation that we all really needed. Would love to stay again next year!

Amazing beach stay!

We have been coming to topsail island for the past 23 years and this was our first time staying at serenity Point but it won’t be our last. The house was perfect and had all the accommodations we needed. Washer and dryer worked perfect, the air-conditioning was perfect, the bedrooms were perfect and the kitchen was stocked with everything we could have needed!! Every morning we took a walk from the beach side around the point to the sound side and it was the perfect way to start each day! Having the towels and sheets provided was great and helped so much with not having to pack them and bring. Truly an amazing location and a beautiful home to stay in. Thank you for sharing your beach home with us we will recommend to friends and hopefully will be back for another stay in the future!

Beautiful location by South Topsail beach...but

We enjoyed the property location between the ocean and the inlet and the updated entertainment with streaming services and appliances. We would like to return when a couple of items listed below are resolved. Unfortunately, the large amount of cockroaches we dealt with due to the lack of a recent exterminator leads me to not recommend this property until it's taken care of. Also, remodeling of the unit next door will probably lead to extra noise during any future stays this fall/winter.

Beach house

The condo was a fairly standard unit. I give it much lower than my normal rating because the owner said she would notify me when housekeeping was complete, but never did. Honestly, I’m not sure it had been cleaned. The linens were left in a tub all balled up and I hope they were clean but they were older and stained so I’m not sure. For seven people (4adults 3 children) only four towels were provided so we had to share and that was pretty yucky. There were no mats or towels in the bathrooms and when you step out of the shower the tile is very very slippery and dangerous. There also was no kitchen towel, nor a roll of paper towels to tide us over, They provided one coffee filter and it was a cone filter which no one on topsail Beach had so we had to go all the way to surf city to get one. We were only there two days so it would have been nice if they could’ve just given us two filters. There was about a quarter of an inch of liquid soap at each sink so we had to stock that as well as paper towels and toilet paper. Again I know that’s sort of the extra nice touch but it would’ve been super nice particularly at the price paid and that we were only there two days . The downstairs chairs outside were stacked and chained down so we could not use them. Not a biggie, but not very welcoming either. Check out time was 10 AM and beware there is $100 fee if you leave any dirty or clean dishes in the dishwasher. I had to get up ridiculously early to fix breakfast and run dishwasher!

A Wonderful Week In Topsail

This is a wonderful spot for a family with kids. It is only a short walk to both the beach and the pool.

Relaxing

Wonderful townhouse to stay in. Had Everything we needed. Master bed was super comfy. Eight year old granddaughters LOVED the loft, perfect for them. Short walk to beach and Sound access. This was our 3rd stay at Top Sail and had never stayed or visited Serenity Point. I LOVED it! Hope to be back.

Laundry/Sheets are a real consideration

I loved this place but the NO laundry, towels, and sheets situation is so unfriendly. You need an extra car for four sets of sheets, bath towels, beach towels, etc. (it filled two duffle bags) AND the dryer barely works. If you have to wash the towels, you better ask for some luck. You need at least three rounds, half-full to get it to dry. So much money for no sheets and poorly functioning drying to boot. I think it would be less electricity just to include the sheet rental in the agreement.

Well appointed, perfectly located townhouse

Well appointed, impeccably clean, and perfectly located beach townhouse in Serenity point – – the very quiet, most southern tip of Topsail Beach. The townhouse has everything that you need except for two important items — a grill and reliable Wi-Fi. Perhaps the owners don’t offer a grill due to HoA’s strict grill use rules. Adult renters should be vetted and trustworthy enough to use a small charcoal grill in front of the property, as required. Again, this townhouse has gorgeous views. comfortable beds, and multiple decks in a very quiet, friendly community. The wi-fi did need to be reset several times per day — perhaps a new router is in order. Thank you for a lovely stay. We would happily return to this beautiful vacation home.

Great spot but a bit barebones

The house is fine and at a great location. The island was beautiful and quiet while we were there. Beach and sound access are both just down the road and since it's at the end of the island there's lot of beach to explore, well within walking distance. That said, the place was a bit barebones and we felt at times like we were nickeled-and-dimed. They don't provide any linens, which wasn't indicated on the Vrbo description when we booking. That includes not just bedsheets and towels, etc but also bathmats, kitchen towels, etc. You can rent them separately if you like. We opted to bring our own, though that accounted for most of our luggage and it felt a bit silly. They also provided only 2 rolls of toilet paper for 3 bathrooms and no soap anywhere. Not terrible, but again felt like we were getting nickeled-and-dimed.
