Across the street is the 7 mile park bordering the lake with walking/bicycle trails, playground, picnic areas, basketball/baseball and 2 miles from Superior Courts. Watch the sunset on beautiful Lake Guntersville from the front porch! Sleeps 8 comfortably (plush California King, Queen, Full adult bunk beds and sofa sleeper ), Fully stocked, includes coffee, tea, creamer, all needed paper products; washer/dryer; big screen TV; easy in/out parking for 3 trucks w/ boat trailers and outside electric hookup for trolling motors and 1 block from Guntersville's largest public boat ramp (Tom Jackson Boat Launch); gas grill w/utensils and picnic supplies, large yard for playing corn hole, cards and game table, all provided. Across the street, the family can enjoy Guntersville’s largest park with 7 miles of walking/bicycle trails, children’s playground, skateboard zone, picnic area, lake swimming, basketball, Farmers Market, baseball diamonds, tennis courts and recreation center with pools, indoor basketball and racquetball courts. Games, cards, corn hole and a game table are all provided to enjoy with the family. Only 2 miles away in Historic North Town you’ll find antique shops, boutiques, restaurants and the new City Harbor or 1 mile away don’t miss the Guntersville Museum or catch a play at the Whole Backstage Playhouse. Other sites include Guntersville Dam, Cathedral Caverns and don’t miss Sunday Brunch, golf and hiking at Guntersville State Park Lodge only 10 miles away. This was a beautiful house that was very clean and felt like home from the first step in the door. The owners have thought of EVERYTHING that you might need. We had a great stay with every everything we could have needed and more. The check in/out was so easy and it was in a great location - close to everything but quiet and right across the street from the lake. Thanks for a great stay!

Enjoyed every part of the stay. The only thing that could be an issue is turning a boat/trailer into the drive way. I had no issue but an inexperienced driver could.

Fantastic accommodations

This was an amazing home. Just across the street from Lake Guntersville and walking/biking path. We could watch people having fun on the lake. The house was immaculate. All necessary supplies provided. The host was very accommodating. We plan on returning soon.

Fishing tourn stay

Return trip to this property for a fishing tournament. Location is ideal. The house is even better than presented. Super clean and super stocked. Boat ramp within sight and the park is just steps away for the wives and kids. The owners have widened the drive since out stay last year which greatly aids boat entry/exit. Owners are fabulous and the entire process was seamless. Highly recommend

EVERYTHING !!!Kim and Roger...were Great from start to end!!! My wife and I were celebrating our Anniversary weekend, and out the gate we were Blown away with the warm welcoming we received. Excellent experience

Stayed Oct 17-21 for a fishing tournament with my son. Great location. By far the cleanest and most well-stocked place we have ever stayed. Really only needed to buy food and nothing else. Plenty of room for boat parking. One thing to be aware of, the owners request you back your boat in the drive to avoid rutting up the yard. The drive is narrow but no problem for a skilled backer. The only issue is it’s a busy street and getting traffic to hold for you is a trick. Not a deal breaker at all. Just something to know. Will definitely stay again.

Perfect for a Family Vacation

I booked this for our family weekend, and became the hero. This house is so well done, spotlessly clean, and quality throughout. Beautiful bedroom furniture, good quality towels, etc., and stocked with everything you could possibly want. The huge back yard and grill made yard games so fun, and the setting was perfect as we had the walking trail across the street, lake view, and close access to downtown. Kim was warm and helpful, and made the overall experience our best rental experience. Would highly recommend this house.

“Highly Recommend!”

Clean, nice comfortable furniture and beds, and very well stocked. This home is centrally located, with a lake view and public park and beach very close by. We enjoyed the lake, caving, tubing the river, the space museum, and lots of really neat antique and thrift stores in all the near by towns. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

Why they chose this property

We offer a complete home in a great, quiet neighborhood that offers something for everyone in the family. Sports enthusiasts, fishermen/women, children and more. The park on the lake across the street is perfect for bike rides, walks, picnics, swimming, fishing, playgrounds, tennis, eagle watching and boating for fishing tournaments. Our house is perfectly nestled in town, close to everything our area has to offer and near both highways for easy access. The home comes completely stocked and we provide coffee and water when you get there for those late night check-ins, no need to run to the grocery store first thing in the morning. Kitchen is fully stocked, to include paper products, only bring your food and a washer and dryer for those longer stays.

What makes this property unique

Cottage type home in quiet, older, well established and sought after neighborhood across the street from the lake. Perfect location to explore historic downtown shopping, new restaurants in City Harbor, close to Supreme Courts for sports, easy access for boats with level and wide driveway and great spot to explore neighboring towns and our wonderful Guntersville State Park.
