Steps from the beach with kayaks, SUPs, and full beach setup included. Unlike most beachfront rentals, this home includes it all (including toddler gear) - no rentals needed.

This home gives you MORE than a resort unit.

Welcome to The Sea Turtle House, a beachfront retreat designed for multi-generational and multi-family getaways on Okaloosa Island in beautiful Fort Walton Beach.

Named after the baby sea turtles that visited in 2020 (and safely made it to the ocean), this spacious 3-story townhome is literally steps from the sand, offering unobstructed Gulf access, sunrise views, and everything needed for a true beach vacation.

Hi! We’re Dave and Lagenia, a husband-and-wife team based in Houston, TX. We met while serving in the U.S. Army, got engaged on our second date, and have been married for over 34 years. We have three amazing adult children who still keep life fun and full.

We both love to travel—I’ve been to 49 countries and Dave has been to 44 (yes, we’re a little competitive!). And after visiting beaches around the world, we can honestly say none compare to the one in our own backyard.

I'm originally from Radcliff, Kentucky, and Dave is from Rockville, Maryland. I graduated from Vanderbilt University, and Dave is a proud Citadel alum. Today, Dave works in the travel industry, and I work in franchising—so hospitality is truly close to both of our hearts.

We fell in love with Okaloosa Island while visiting friends and knew instantly it was the perfect place to create a beach retreat for our family. Now, we’re thrilled to share it with you! Whether you’re coming to relax, explore, or make memories with loved ones, we hope you feel right at home at the Sea Turtle House.

Our home was designed to bring the beach to you—from sunrise to sunset! As a corner unit, you'll enjoy unobstructed ocean views from every level, with triple sliding glass doors and floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room and primary bedroom.

We love spending time on our two spacious balconies and ground-level patio, all with breathtaking views of the Gulf. Whether you're sipping coffee at sunrise or enjoying a cocktail at sunset, there's no better place to relax.

And in the summer (from Memorial Day to Labor Day), don’t miss the Wednesday night fireworks from the pier, just 2 miles east—you’ll have front-row seats right from our decks and windows on the 2nd and 3rd levels.

It’s these little moments—paired with the space, views, and comfort—that make Sea Turtle House so special.
