We loved our stay at beachbums hideaway. The photos do not capture the beauty of the beach. The beach is steps from the property. The house was clean with plenty of storage. We enjoyed the beach chairs, sand toys and floaties on the back porch. We would love to stay again.

This place is exactly what we were looking for in a vacation rental: a real family-owned property (not some soulless vacation rental company) with a well-stocked space. The kitchen actually has everything you'd need to cook a meal or feed more than 2 people, and there are so many great little items throughout the space: binoculars to watch the dolphins each morning, flashlights if you need to navigate at night, and our 3-year-old was thrilled with the plethora of beach toys and floaties. We appreciated the available beach chairs and umbrella, as well as the outdoor shower to rinse all the sand off before going inside. By far the best thing is the beach access: straight out the back door, over the little footbridge and you're standing in pure white sand, ready to spend the day splashing in the waves and building sandcastles. We highly recommend this space for families with kids 3 or older. (The indoor stairs are completely open one side and may not be the best option for 2 or younger.) We had a great time and hope to be again!

Our stay was very nice. The location is unbeatable, the beach was beautiful, and we did not find ourselves wanting for much. The house came with beach chairs and an umbrella, an outdoor shower, and a nice outdoor dining set that made experiencing the view very easy. I mentioned a few items to the host that could use some attention and they were quick to reply that they would make sure they were addressed for future guests. Overall we found the house to be pleasant, quiet and very peaceful. We are glad we stayed here.

Everyhing was perfect. Everything we could need was available. The location was perfect and a great spot to have morning coffee overlooking the Gulf. Bed was super comfy. We will be back for sure !

My family and I had a great time at Beachbum's Hideaway. It had plenty of space for everyone and it was amazing being that close to the beach. The property was equipped with beach chairs and an umbrella, which was fantastic because it meant a few less things to pack. It is our hope to visit again should we ever be in the area. The hosts were great at communication and check-in was a breeze.

Beachbums hideaway was a terrific place to stay for our family. If you have older teenagers they’ll love having a little independence on the lower level. They had their own kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, not to mention a door straight out to the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay at BeachBums Hideaway. It was clean and family friendly. The deck has a perfect view right on the beach. We would definitely stay here again. Chris the owner was great and went out his way to make sure our family had a great time.

This place was perfect! Great location for all that we wanted to do. The beach was fantastic and we had super easy access to it. I don't think that we could a picked a more perfect listing. If we ever get a chance to go back to this area we will look for this very same place. The home had everything that we needed and more. Definitely a beach bums PERFECT hideaway!

Everything was excellent. The townhouse is directly in the beach, which meant easy access and great views. The place was very clean and had everything we needed during our stay. Communication with the host was also fast and detailed. We will certainly be back.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful beach house. Loved the close proximity to the beach. Very much enjoyed the peaceful neighborhood. These hosts provide everything you need in the way of toiletries, laundry detergent, fabric softener sheets, dish detergent, dishwasher capsules, paper towels. They even have beach chairs and umbrellas available to take to the beach. Also, thoughtful enough to provide sunscreen and beach towels! The ONLY negative is that you step inside the door to immediately face 14 stairs up to the kitchen/living room/deck. Then 14 more up to the bedrooms (however, both do have en suite bathrooms). BUT, keep in mind, there is a lovely studio suite that a person can access without going up any stairs. I very much enjoyed all the awesome decor. Would we stay here again? In a heartbeat!

Bestie trip

My best friend and I stayed at the Beach Bum and it was perfect! You just walk out the door, and you’re on the beach! So relaxing, and the space was perfect for two! We can’t wait to visit again!!
