Navarre Beach is an island with the Gulf of Mexico on one side and the Navarre Sound (bay) on the other. The area is connected to Pensacola Beach and all of it's amenities by Highway 399 (Gulf Blvd.). The two areas are separated by 7 miles of protected undisturbed raw beauty. It is an incredible drive, bike ride or place to just enjoy nature. You can also reach Navarre Beach, known as "Florida's Best Kept Secret", via the Navarre Beach Causeway, a short drive over the bridge crossing the bay that separates the town of Navarre and Navarre Beach.
Our home on Navarre Beach Florida offers the very best of everything you desire. The privacy of this area allows you to truly enjoy the perfect white sands of Santa Rosa county in peace with everything you could desire within a few minute drive. Nestled between Pensacola Beach (20 min. drive west) and Fort Walton Beach (20 min. drive east) you have access to everything without being right in the middle of it all the time. The island boasts the longest fishing pier in all of Florida, a nature reserve and a sea turtle conservatory. The sands are white like sugar and cool to the touch year round. Navarre is known for it's shells. They are everywhere and so fun to search for and collect. At times you can even find full sand dollars.
THE UNIT:
We call our home Shellnel No. 9. The complex is called Beachview because it is on the water and Shellnel No. 9 is one of 14 townhomes that are situated on the gulf. The unit is 1632 s.f and features 3 beautifully appointed bedrooms, 3 full baths and a large tandem garage.
One of our favorite things about our home is that all three levels of the unit are yours. In most all of the really large condo units you park in a parking lot, go through a lobby, climb up the stairs or take the elevator, go through the hall and then get to your unit--while carrying all of your stuff. Same thing when you are ready to go out to the beach. Haul all of your stuff through a crowded building while you are wearing your bathing suit, elevator, lobby, common deck area and then 10 minutes later you are on the sand. With Shellnell #9 you have the best of everything--Amazing views from the main (second) and top (third) floor balconies with steps that lead from the main balcony to the sand! When you arrive you pul into the garage inside the unit! When you are done playing you simply walk back to the unit, enjoy your outdoor shower and drop your stuff in the garage--all on ground level! We wanted a home, not an apartment. That's exactly what Shellnell No. 9 is--our home. And you are our guests!
The townhome is made up of three levels:
Ground floor features include the 2 car tandem garage space with both front and rear garage doors, a full dining table and 6 chairs, lounge chairs, a patio and an outdoor charcoal grill. The patio also offers an outdoor shower for your convenience. There is NO comparison to pulling into your garage and directly entering the home.
The main floor features include a beautiful living room with a balcony, dining area with table for 6 and four bar stools, fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, and a bedroom with a queen bed and full bath. There is also a twin roll away bed located in the closet of this bedroom.
The top floor features an over sized master bedroom with a wall of windows overlooking the gulf, a private balcony, master bath with full shower, jetted whirlpool tub and double vanities. The laundry (stacked washer and dryer) area is on this floor along with a bedroom with two twin beds and a full bath. There is also a twin roll away bed in the closet of this bedroom.
NOTE: The townhome is a multi-story unit with stairs and no elevator.
The maximum occupancy is eight and there are sleeping accommodations for eight:
King in master (2)
Two twin beds in upstairs (2)
Queen bed in bedroom on main floor (2)
Two (2) twin roll away beds-one upstairs and one down.
The unit was built in 2008 and was totally redecorated in 2017. It is gorgeous! The custom decor includes beautiful light fixtures, artwork, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, beautiful bedding and so much more making Shellnel #9 an incredible home away from home. the complex offers a swimming pool and tennis court exclusively reserved for Beachview guests.
Wake up to a gorgeous sunrise and have your coffee while listening to the sound of the waves. Keep your eyes open for dolphins which are frequently spotted in the area. When you are ready walk down your private staircase and you are right on the sand! Simply walk over the Beachview guest bridge and find your spot for the day.
THINGS TO KNOW:
*Navarre is a laid back small beach town. You can quickly and easily get to everything you want or need.
*Shellnel No. 9 is our home and we ask that you respect it as such.
*There is no smoking/vaping allowed on the property. No exceptions.
*The unit is equipped with NEST thermostats which are remotely monitored. Please help us make sure that they are used correctly and that we conserve energy.
*The Beachview complex is private and has rules that are enforced for all owners and their guests. The guest notebook has all of the details.

For years we have loved the ocean and spending time near and in it's beautiful setting. We live a long way from the water and for years dreamed about and made plans to purchase a home on the ocean for our family and friends to enjoy. Shellnel No. 9 became the fulfillment of that dream in 2017! We hope that you enjoy it as much as we do and return as often as you can.

Why Scott Werner chose Navarre Beach
We had very specific criteria when we were looking: 1. We wanted to be right on the water. This townhome offers something unique in that you are directly on the gulf. You can literally walk out of the living room doors and down your private staircase and your toes are in the sand. Nothing beats that for us! The sound of the waves, the views from both balconies and the immediate access made this the perfect spot. 2. We wanted to be in a quiet community. Navarre is truly the best of both worlds. It is surrounded on one side by the gulf and on the other by the "sound" (bay) so everywhere you look, you see water. Unlike many other gulf areas, it is still relatively undeveloped allowing us to enjoy the beach without stepping over people, getting caught in traffic jams and waiting in long lines. One quick ride over the bridge allows us to get to anything and everything we need--grocery stores, restaurants, fast foods, a zoo, golf courses and so much more. 3. We wanted easy access. Navarre is a short drive from both Pensacola International and Ft. Walton airports so you can catch a great deal on Southwest, Allegiant or whatever airline you prefer and quickly make it to the townhome. After years of planning we found everything we were looking for in this amazing location. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

The island of Navarre beach is located just over the bridge south of the city of Navarre. Navarre offers everything you would want or need and is located between the areas of Pensacola/Gulf Breeze and Ft. Walton. The island has a sea turtle conservatory and amazing nature preserve featuring 7 miles of undisturbed nature--just sand and sea.
