Really delightful cottage with a beautiful garden. Had everything we needed to make ourselves comfortable. Amazing view from the kitchen window and close enough to walk down into the city centre
It was a wonderful cottage. Everything was as described and Sandra was quick to respond and a pleasure to deal with. We used the suggestion she left for breakfast in the morning and that was great. The cottage was close to the restaurants for dinner, although you cook have cooked for yourself if you wanted. We did make use of the washing machine which was clutch when you’re travelling just with carryon
We stayed 3 nights at this loverly, cosy and well equipped cottage. It was well presented and contained everything we needed. It had nice indoor and out door spaces. We really enjoyed our stay.
All the reviews are true! This is an exceptional place to stay. Beautiful bed linen, stylish decor, everything you need for a stay, fabulous kitchen with amazing views over the harbour and a comfortable bed and great bathroom. Also in a central, quiet location with stunning cottage gardens and plenty of outdoor area. Wonderful hostess who replied immediately- not for any problems- just to ask about the dahlias! Highly recommend.
This was my second stay and it only confirmed what I already knew...this place is great. The house was spotlessly clean, with an attention to detail that you rarely come across. Everything felt considered and cared for, making it incredibly cozy and easy to settle right in. I was comfortable from the moment I walked through the door. I have no doubt there will be a third visit! highly recommend!
It was a beautiful and quiet get-away. Wonderfully stocked kitchen with everything you need to bale or cook. The host really cares about the place and it shows. Will happily stay there again in the future!

Our second stay at the City Cottage was just as memorable as the first. Everything was perfect. A big thank-you to our host, Sandra, for the wonderful hospitality. We hope to be back soon!
Couldn’t be better. Kitchen well appointed, spacious and clean home with everything you need in a great location. Would definitely return here! Home away from home, we loved it. The garden and outdoor areas were lovely.
Beautiful cottage with a great garden and lovely views. Slightly quirky, relaxing feel, very homely and a great place to relax. Sandra is a wonderful host. We enjoyed staying very much.
Lovely property in a quiet atea of town handy to shops and the central city. Loved the choice of outdoor areas and the city lights. The welcome we recieved set the tone for our stay and we would definitely recommend this property! As a keen gardner, the beautiful setting was a bonus!
