The Pearl is a really awesome beachfront duplex vacation home in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Is the Pearl on West Beach a big vacation home!? You know it! Is it fabulous? You bet! Should it be your next favorite place to stay in Gulf Shores? Absolutely! (If you act soon enough to get it... it goes away quickly every year!).

This listing is for the West side unit of Pearl. One side perfect for your group? Then this West side of Pearl (10BR) may be just what you need!

Or, check out Pearl's East side unit (10BR) — same great layout, same bedding, sleeps the same number, and same great amenities, so if one isn't available, grab the other--you can't go wrong! Or.... Go BIG and snag Pearl's East & West sides together in one listing. That's 20 BR, with hotel-style secure connecting door!

That's big! In 8 kings and 4 sets of full-single combo bunk beds (a full bed underneath a single!). King beds. Big! And none of that sleeper sofa stuff to make it 28. Its 28 in beds, not pullouts. And, no, there are no sleeper sofas anywhere at The Pearl. Need to sleep more than 28? Take both sides of this huge duplex, and 56 people can stay comfortably, and in style! And, not one but two dishwashers too! Because when you are big: eat, drink, wash, repeat! It's better with two! Need ice? It's got icemakers, and not just on the two fridges! Clothes, swimsuits, towels? Of course it has a really big washer and dryer! In fact, one set per floor! Seriously.

ACCESSIBILITY CONCERNS? WE'VE GOT ELEVATORS!

Huffing it up three floors can be hard. Why not an elevator?! Yes, the Pearl on West Beach has one of those too! And bathroom tweaks too. The bath on the main level has a floor roll in capable shower, just in case!

Of course! And its really big. In the vicinity of 14'x35′ big. Wow! Deck? Yup, covered and uncovered. We literally have you covered, when it comes to a deck! And its private to the two sides of our duplex, not shared with anyone else in the area!

BEACHFRONT? ABSOLUTELY!
The Pearl on West Beach, is RIGHT on the beach. Nothing but sand between you, your guests, and the water (well, sand, and the pool!). Parking is no problem either. 3 cars fit under the house on each side.

🤗 Hi Melissa! Glad you had a nice time. Bummed to get a 3 on my normally 5 star home! I have to admit — I'm genuinely surprised by this one. Erica's has 100 reviews and an average right around 4.95. The guest right before your stay had a 5 star experience, the guest who checked in the day you checked out left 5 stars, and honestly, yours is the only 3 the home has ever received. So this really stands out — and with no note left on the review, and no communication from you during the stay, makes it challenging to know how to respond (or to make improvements for guests like you). If you have additional feedback for Erica's, or if I can help with a return trip here or to one of my other homes--and get you that same 5 star experience the other folks have all had, I'd love to hear from you! And regardless, I hope you and yours had a wonderful New Year's at the beach. 🙏

We had a FANTASTIC time!

Our spring break trip was perfect! Lots of room for everyone, and right on the beach! The elevator was very helpful, and the kitchen/living room was so big, and well-stocked! Highly recommend!

Amazing Stay

Perfectly laid out for our group. Plenty of room, storage, refrigerator space. Loved the pool area and relaxing chairs. Short walk to the gulf front. This was my second time staying at the Pearl West with friends and family. We will be booking again!

Perfect Space

Perfect space for my family, loved the location, couldn’t be better! Super clean and spacious! The elevator was just what we needed, several family members over 60! Can’t say enough about how close we were to the beach.

Wonderful, large, beachfront home with heated pool!

Had a lovely stay at this property. As the listing indicates, the property is huge and perfect for multiple families staying together. Right on the beach and with a large heated pool that is shared with the other side of the duplex. Owner was very communicative and easy to work with. Highly recommend and would return!

Perfect for our family

Family Beach Trip

This house was amazing! It has all the amenities you could ask for and plenty of them even for a large family group. It’s a very convenient location with great easy access to the beach. My only comment would be that the carpets could have been cleaner and the bedding nicer. But for all the good at this place I almost hate to even mention those two things. We would stay here again for sure!

My wife's family have traveled to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach Alabama for decades. I became a tag along in the late 1990s, so a Gulf Shores guy by marriage. One thing led to another and we ended up a several large, family-friendly, large group friendly, places along the Gulf.

Pearl. Wow. Just look at the tour. The pictures. Location! Salt water pool. Nice. Nice. Nice. People get married here, taking both sides (20 bedrooms). People come back year after year. I love this home. Oh, and those cabinets. Great living space. Extras. Ice Makers. And centrally located on the eastern part of West Beach Blvd, about 1.25 miles to Hangout, easy walk to Bahama Bobs and Waves Grocery. Just a great all over place for folks needing room to roam and all the amenities.

Why they chose this property

My wife's family have traveled to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach Alabama for decades. I became a tag along in the late 1990s, so a Gulf Shores guy by marriage. One thing led to another and we ended up a several large, family-friendly, large group friendly, places along the Gulf. Beach Axis used to be the Summer Winds. We took ownership and completely redid this home with an updated vibe. Check out the red cabinets! Nice location. Style. Look at the deck view. You so want to be there!

What makes this property unique

Huge! 10 or 20 bedrooms. Elevator for those needing assistance! Two refrigerators and dishwashers, more! Yeah, more, more of eveything. Plus. Great, beachfront saltwater pool. One of my favorite pools when we get to stay around Gulf Shores and this happens to be open, which isn't often. Icemakers, wet bars, lounges, lots of bunks and king beds! What more could you ask for you and your large crew!
