Great location but needs updating

Loved the location and Barbara, the owner, was very nice and welcoming. The property is very spacious and the front porch was my favorite place. The property is in great need of updating.

I hope Donna had a good time and enjoyed the house. As a Victorian home, it is very different from a more modern unit. There is always more to do with older homes. I hope she enjoyed the home as we try very hard to make everyone comfortable on their vacation!

Post Covid many of the rentals now check in later as cleaning protocol has heightened requirements. We do have a dishwasher and new countertop and the kitchen is a galley style. I am sorry if these guests were displeased.

Family week at Cape May

This house was perfect for our family group of 11. Large rooms and 3 &1/2 baths. So close to the beach. And plenty of space for the kids (6). To play. Only problem (and it’s in all of Cape May )is not enough parking space for all the summer folks. Meters are a pain. Barbara was a delightful owner with great info about her home. Enjoyed her conversations. We will definitely come again

Great stay in Cape May - especially if you love history

Our family has vacationed at Avalon for 50 years but enjoyed the stay at the Levy-Neafie House as much as any place we have stayed. The close proximity to the beach and the shopping area was wonderful. The house is charminingly decorated in with Victorian furniture and wonderful paintings and prints. All of the bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable sleeping. We appreciated the room air-conditioners for sleeping purposes but liked the fresh air downstairs and the high ceilings kept things cooler, even in the 100 degree afternoons. Although the kitchen is smaller, the proximity to the larger dining room and the buffets made meal preparation and serving nice for a larger family. The ambiance is wonderful - a truly victorian vacation experience. We will be coming back next year.
