Snow Pine Estates vacation rentals

The property was as described. The host took extra effort to label all switches and locations of kitchen equipment which eased our familiarization of the property. In addition detailed instructions were provided regarding access to the resort area which made our stay more pleasant. All the extra steps that could be made to ensure we enjoyed ourselves were taken.

My family had a great stay, the unit was spacious and comfortable and perfect for our family. Communication was prompt and helpful. We would definitely stay again!

We had a great stay! This was our 7th time staying at Big White in the past 10 years but our first time in Beaverdell. We’ve been spoiled on our past stays with true ski-in/ski-out properties (i.e., ski right to the front door). This condo requires a pretty good walk up the street while carrying your gear in your ski boots at the end of a long day - it wasn’t horrible but a bit of a challenge for our oldest family member who has a touchy back. We ended up just taking a car down to Happy Valley so we could ski all the way to the bottom to save him that walk. It isn’t a stand-alone unit and unfortunately we could hear our loud upstairs neighbors walking around at night, along with their yappy dog. Again, it wasn’t awful, but if you’re a light sleeper, you may want to bring ear plugs. The condo was very clean and spacious; the kitchen was well-stocked; it has a great hot tub (VERY CLEAN) with an excellent view! Everyone could relax and watch TV together on super comfy sofas at night which was nice (we’ve stayed at other properties that sleep 10 but only had seating for 4-5 in the TV area). We had a small problem at check in (the door code didn’t work) but the owner was extremely responsive and returned our call and got it resolved within about 60 seconds. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and it exceeded our expectations!

Great mountain, great house, great hosts. Have returned and will return!

We really enjoyed out stay at Snow Pines! * The pictures do not do the unit justice. It is much nicer than they show, rooms are larger and the size of the main room does not come across. * The location is great. For those skiing being so close to the run was tremendous, but the walk to the village is a bit further (more like 20 minutes, 1 mile and uphill). * The views are tremendous. We got only one morning where we could see the sun rise and the views due to weather, but that one morning was glorious. * The kitchen is really well appointed. We did not miss anything and were happily surprised to see it stocked so well. Our only issue was the furniture in the main room. It appears to be of good quality, but the layout makes no sense... no good sightlines of the view or TV, it just is kind of placed there. We did notice the instructions not to move it, and we can understand why that comment is there. No real impact to our stay, but it was odd enough it was worth mentioning.
