We gathered at "Dock Holiday" for our combined Thanksgiving and Christmas family celebration. We had a very nice experience. Initially we couldn't find the home and had to call Chad for more detailed directions. Once he provided those it was no problem to find. The home is very comfortable, clean and spacious. The cozy couch with blankets and fireplace was perfect for the cooler weather we had. We appreciated having a basement bedroom/bath for our family with younger children. The options for pool, xbox, ping pong were great given the cold weather. Beds are very comfortable. I was glad to have read a previous review which mentioned that the kitchen is stocked with "basics" - as we needed a few more items for our larger meals. We found the dining table to be small given the number of people who can stay - a few more chairs would've helped or a bigger table. The Dollar General was well stocked with basic food items (milk, creamer, etc) We would recommend stopping at Leitchfield for groceries. It looks like it will be a very nice development once it gets more established. We loved that it was remote and quiet. Thank you so much for a lovely stay!
