Excellent location on the quiet end Sanibel close to lighthouse.

Sandalfoot vacation

The Sandalfoot facility was beautiful as usual. The grounds were well manicured and clean. The pool was warm with perfectly clear water. Beach access was quick and easy across the walkway. The 4B3 condo was well appointed, clean, with good views of the property and the Gulf. On-site staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

So so!

We have been coming to Sandalfoot since 1980 and always loved it. Then Ian and everything changed. Came back this year and new management, everything is different. Seems like everything is to save money— cheap products in units , our air filter at air handler was filthy, the low wall at kitchen is ridiculous!. The fridge door won't open all the way. Sheets on bed are really cheap, although the bed was very comfortable. No ceiling fan on patio, the shower head is too high to comfortably reach. Several other things but I won't knit pick. Ben was a delight and very helpful he gets our vote for manager he seems to really care

Our recent stay in 4B3 was wonderful. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony in the mornings with a beautiful view of the property and the gulf. The unit was beautifully and comfortably furnished. The heated pool was so enjoyable. The pool area was beautiful. The only negative of the entire stay was when it ended. We will come back, for sure.

The condo was clean and beautiful, a good size for 2 people.

We liked the proximity to the beach and enjoyed morning walks on the beach. We walked down to the lighthouse every morning and found some interesting shells and starfish and other sea creatures. The swimming pool was still warm enough to use in November, almost too warm, but we did have sunny days and beautiful weather while we were there. The kitchen is small and only one person can work in it at a time. The only thing we didn't have that we expected was coffee. Coffee was listed as an amenity on the website. The patio was screened in, so it was nice to not have to worry about bugs. You would need a car to go to restaurants or explore other areas. It's a good place to stay for quiet and relaxation .
