An excellent weekend getaway close to tons of fantastic hiking trails. The property was very clean, easy to find, and very well equipped! Would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet weekend near the mountains.

Cute and very clean rental for an overnight with a pup. Had all needed amenities including dog bed and blanket. Check-in was simple, WiFi was good and outside seating was nice on both front and back porches.

Definitely the cleanest VRBO home we’ve ever stayed in eve down to the baseboards. I wish the yard was more private with covered space to enjoy the outdoors in the rain but still had a nice setup. We got to see deer right across from us. It was a great stay.

This is a great house. The perfect location for access to tons of trails in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. The house is extremely comfortable. Eric, the host, is easy to communicate with and is very responsive. This is our second time here. Eric has added some comfortable rockers to the front porch, as well as a hammock. The dogs love the beds that have been left for them as well. Lots of very friendly deer visit daily. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, to save restaurant expense. Overall it’s an excellent place to stay.

Perfect Cozy Getaway

A cozy cabin retreat near the river. Perfect for us and the canine. Everything was top notch and had all the accessories needed for a home away from home feeling. We will definitely be back and book for a longer stay. Thank you for sharing this piece of heaven!

Very nice. Clean, up to date, all the amenities were there. Had a small issue with the well water due to maintenance that was not scheduled and was not the tenants fault at all, but the tenants were very prompt to remedy the situation. I’d stay there again for sure.

We had an amazing stay and would absolutely come back. The cabin was spotless, comfortable, and one of the best-equipped vacation rentals we’ve stayed in. The kitchen was fully stocked, and every detail made it feel like a true home away from home.Eric was wonderful to work with. Communication was excellent, and he kindly accommodated an earlier check-in and later check-out despite having guests immediately before and after our stay.The best part was simply relaxing on the back patio, listening to the Wind River and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The cabin is also in a perfect location for exploring nearby Panther Creek Falls and Gifford Pinchot National Forest.If you’re looking for a quiet, comfortable getaway where the cabin itself is part of the experience, this is the place. We left feeling refreshed and are already looking forward to coming back.

It was a perfect house for us , especially with the dogs. It is very convenient to get to both Carson and Stevenson as well as everything in the Gifford Pinchot National Park. It has everything you need for cooking, once I found where everything was stored. The house was spotless, and there is plenty of room to park. The ONLY negative was the backyard is so overgrown, you can’t sit around the fire pit. Eric, the host, was very responsive is going to get that handled.This house is definitely recommended. We look forward to staying there again.
