The Spinnaker Cottage ~ Just off Main! - Sleeps 6

Newly renovated cottage in the heart of the charming downtown area. One block from local shops and restaurants and only a 10 minute drive to the ski resorts.

Welcome to this clean and sophisticated cottage with all new finishes and furnishings. You will love the outdoor patio with exclusive eating area and ambient string lights to set off your evening happy hour.

The home comfortably sleeps six with one king bed and two queen beds. Both baths are remodeled with subway tile and new fixtures. The white kitchen offers granite counters and new appliances. A gas log fireplace keeps things cozy on cold nights and new A/C to keep you cool in the summer months.

So many restaurants, beaches, a movie theater, and shopping are just a stroll away. Just park the car and spend some time in this iconic resort town where everything is local and walkable.

This location is ideal for all season adventures: fall color tours, hiking, biking, downhill and cross country skiing, golfing, and boating, kayaking and paddle -boarding in the Little Traverse Bay.

Fantastic stay as always! We've stayed here a number of times for ski trips. The house is well stocked and extremely clean. Great location for walks into town and a short drive from Nubs Nob and Boyne Highlands. Kris is wonderful to work with! We look forward to our next visit!

It was the cutest little cottage! Bathrooms and kitchen meticulously updated. Super cozy living room with fireplace. Great place to relax after a day of skiing. Adorable little town with restaurants and shoppes! Everything was very clean and smelled clean too. Owners were very responsive when we inquired about snow removal. Would definitely stay again. Perfect July 4th

We had a wonderful time staying over the July 4th holiday. Great location and super comfortable house. There is a great deck area that we practically lived on! Would highly recommend.

Very relaxing

Really enjoyed our long weekend. The outdoor setup was especially peaceful and relaxing with the couch and fire pit. The beds were very comfortable and enjoyed walking to the shops and restaurants. Hosts were also very responsive when we reached out.

Walking distance to everything. Awesome awesome quiet spot close to whatever you’re looking for. Walking to farmers market on Saturday morning was great!!

Beautiful renovated Home

We had a great time in this beautiful home. Location was perfect to walk downtown. Kris the owner was very easy to work with. Would definitely rent this home again.

Clean and Comfortable

My family stayed here for a long weekend in September. The updated house is very clean and comfortable. The location is awesome as we could walk or bike anywhere in town!

Amazing location

This house was perfect! The location is two blocks from downtown so easy to get to anything. Nice and spacious and good sized bedrooms. Had anything you needed for your stay. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful

We’ve been to HS seven times using VRBO each time. This property is, by far, our favorite!. it was exactly as advertised and the quality of the cottage and location too downtown were both a “10”. This is now our “go to” property!

Harbor Springs Past and Present

This little house is the perfect mix of rich Harbor Springs history and beautifully updated features. 3 blocks from the heart of town, the quiet and quaint neighborhood is the perfect location. The 3 mattresses are fantastic, the kitchen is well equipped, and the indoor and outdoor fireplaces made for cozy gatherings. The host was very responsive. Such a gem!!

Perfect cottage for family of 4

We loved our stay at the Spinnaker Cottage. It’s very well redone while maintaining some of the original character. It felt very clean and was everything our young family of 4 needed. We have been coming to Harbor Springs every summer for 5 years and this has been our favorite rental thus far. It’s walkable to everything and quiet. We worried about being at the bottom of the big hill on Arbor St but you’re just past it and it was never an issue. Would recommend this cottage to anyone looking to stay in town.

Excellent stay in Harbor Springs

We enjoyed our stay in this cottage (couple with two older kids), which was a short drive to Highlands at Harbor Springs (formerly Boyne Highlands). Parts of it have been maintained and beautifully restored from when it was built in the early 1900s, while also modernized with modern fixtures and amenities. Beds were very comfortable. Super clean. All appliances newer and in good working order. Have a meal or two at Pierson’s and pick up some Tom’s Mom’s cookies! Downtown Harbor Springs is right there. We would happily stay here again.

End of summer Getaway

Both my husband and I are slightly handicapped so we really appreciated that there was only one step up from garage into the cottage. Our family loved the mattresses upstairs and the huge shower. All was newly renovated. The kitchen and laundry and bathroom on main floor were also. What more can I say? Location Location Location!!! The best restaurants shops and beach only a few blocks away. Great biking too! We had a wonderful time. Hope I can come back again sometime.

Easy Access to Downtown Harbor Springs

This property was small but extremely comfortable and very well designed. It has a farmhouse type of feel to it particularly in the kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry room (which are beautifully re-done). The bedrooms are great and mattress was one of the best we have ever slept on. We also loved the outside side deck/porch with the furniture and lighting and made good use of it during the day and evening. We had a need to reach out to owners a couple of times before, during, and after our stay and found them to be extremely accessible and helpful. House is located one block away from the historical beautiful Main Street and made for some great strolls through town to shop, grab breakfast/dinner. The town is incredibly quaint and is located on one of the most scenic harbors that we have visited throughout our travels. Would highly recommend this property.

We enjoy going up to Harbor Springs because there is so much to explore in Northern Michigan. We love to walk a few short blocks to downtown to enjoy shopping and dining or watching a movie at the cute theater in town. The drive through the tunnel of trees is beautiful with a stop to Pond Hill Farm! (That is where our family photo was taken). Harbor Springs is a nice place to visit all year round! We love the sandy beaches and biking in the summer and the skiing is great in the winter with Nubs Nob and Boyne Highlands less than 10 minutes away.

The quaint and magical feel of the small harbor town makes for a lovely vacation retreat in northern Michigan. The bike paths, beaches, country vineyards, and ski resorts are easily accessible. It is a charming town for short or long term visits throughout the entire year.
