Enjoy this modern architecture with open floor plan surrounded by windows offering you ample opportunities to observe the 103 acres of lush woods and natural prairies that surround you. The Oasis is the perfect retreat for outdoor enthusiasts who appreciate modern design.

The Oasis in the Woods is secluded yet offers easy access to sought after amenities including sandy beaches of Lake Michigan, Indiana Dunes National Park, premium outlet shopping, orchards, Casinos, boat tours and so much more.

The basics: 2 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms. Bedroom 1 is furnished with a Queen bed and bedroom 2 is furnished with a Full-size bed and Twin bed. In the basement you will find another Twin sized bed.

Spend the morning hours exploring the land, there is plenty! How many species of birds can you spot? Walk or ride the provided bicycles along the 1.5 miles of private road for an easy stroll or, hike the uninterrupted acreages that lies beyond. Choices of how to plan your days and evenings are abundant with the diversity the location brings. Below is a list of some activities. As you will see, there is fun for ALL ages close by. When evening approaches, perhaps you choose a beach and watch an often-colorful sunset. After a day out and about, wind down by chatting around the wood burning fire in the 400+ sq. foot screened porch while taking turns stargazing.

Perfectly secluded oasis

The house is very nice place to stay. Plenty of space if you were to have even a group of people stay there, and they are pet friendly. The nicest part about the property (at least for now) is that it is inside of a gated community that is being built, but there are currently no other properties built. So you will be inside of a gated forested community with walking paths through the forest and no one else in there with you. If you want a secluded hideaway for a nice quite, peaceful vacation this is the place to stay!

Not worth the very pricey vrbo and host fees

this is a remote location rental with nothing but the basic ammenities in an older modern home. the property mgr came out to rectify our water problem in a timely manner, but, what occurred to cause the lack of water in bathrooms and kitchen was due to someone not doing their job. property mgr was able to fix kitchen faucet but the bathrooms were useless and unpleasant to shower in thankfully the toilets flushed. Luckly we checked out soon after all this nonsense

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family rented this vacation home for a short beach trip to Michigan City. The location is secluded since this house was the only house built on a development. The home is beautiful and modern. However the furniture was old; the kitchen table chairs were badly scratched up. The living room sofa was missing a leg and was propped up by logs. The TV did not have cable and the dish did not work so we were not able to watch TV that night. Overall, the home was lovely but the owners should get more furniture. If that is done, the place would be spectacular.

A beautiful nightmare

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family was very disappointed in our experience at Oasis in the Woods. I called Beachwalk’s office twice - before booking and before arriving to confirm there was internet service and the property was wheelchair accessible. I was told yes to both and neither were true. The property is beautiful and secluded, but doesn’t receive the attention needed from Beachwalk. During our 5 day stay, I called the first day about several issues including problems with the WiFi, bathroom light and a toilet that made loud sounds constantly all day and night. They would say maintenance was on the way, but I’d call back hours later to be told they got busy with other properties. They sent a man named Dale and the office manager who were very friendly, but unable to fix anything. By day three the toilet was much louder and would overflow before flushing. Dale was sent back out again, because regular maintenance was too busy with the Beachwalk properties, and told us a plumber was needed to drain the septic system. They couldn’t get a plumber to come out until Friday, after we left. So we dealt with the sounds all day and night and had to wait 10 minutes between flushes for the toilet. The office apologized and repeated that although inconvenient, it was safe. What I planned as a luxury vacation turned out to be quite the opposite. I hope they find a way to make future stays more pleasant.
