We had a wonderful stay with two families. The house was fully stocked with everything you could want for a family stay. Kids ages 10-15 had a great time fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding off the dock as well as enjoyed the beach/sand area and pool table.

The Good Life is a vacation paradise. The house is warm and inviting. It has all the comfort of home and more. The property is amazing, wonderful view of the lake from the balconies. The lawn was perfect for three little kids and doggies to run around and play. It was nice to have the water toys available for us to use. Our 3 yrs old grandson caught his first fish while fishing off the dock. Holly and Chris are great hosts, they are very easy to communicate with. Our family is looking forward to our next year's vacation at The Good Life. Lisa, Harrisburg PA

We had an AMAZING week at "The Good Life!" We always love Lake Gaston, but this home truly had everything we could have needed. The hosts were amazing with communication, the house was immaculate, indoor and outdoor furniture was in great shape, cabinets were well stocked and organized, there were so many outdoor activities provided to keep the full family busy, and the foosball and pool table were a hit when the sun went down. Loved the extra drink fridge in the kitchen/dining area, the ice maker was able to keep up with everyone's needs, there was access to basic cleaning supplies that we needed, A/C easily kept up with the summer heat, and there were even marshmallow roasting sticks already provided on site. Really, every detail was perfectly thought out by the hosts!!We had a total of 9 guests (plus one dog) that stayed for most of the week and we could have easily had room for 4 more as we had 2 twin beds and 1 queen bed that went unused. The layout of the home never had us feeling crowded. The only disappointment all week was that we had to leave. On the way out of the driveway, my wife and son were already trying to figure out when we could come back again.
