Boulder Ridge holiday lettings

Thank you Robert for letting us stay at Boulder Ridge. This was our second stay in Breckenridge. We are 3 families with adult children. One of the reasons for booking this premises was the closeness to the slopes. Less than 5 minutes walk in ski boots. Perfect. We did ski back most days although we removed our skis for the road as they were rented and we did not want to damage them. The property can only be described as wonderful. It has loads of space and the 15 of us never felt on top of each other. We made great use of the round table, all dining together every night taking it in turns to cook. Every kitchen utensil that we needed was on hand and the well stocked cupboard was handy for spices and powders. The welcome basket of cheese, wine and crackers set the tone for this 10 day stay. We made full use of the sauna and hot tub. The massage chair was remarkably popular after a long day skiing. The pool table was well used as was the bar area. The theatre room was an added bonus as we ran a couple of race nights. The garage area is perfect for ski storage and drying out sweaty ski boots. The three large fridge freezers were perfect and the washing and drying facilities could not be faulted. We thought this holiday may be the last to Breckenridge but we have decided to come again in 2 years time. Hopefully we will be back to this property as we could not see how it could be any better. Highly recommend this place to anyone thinking about booking.

We were a party of 14, 3 families that stayed at the start of April for 10 days. This Chalet was perfect. We devided up the bedrooms and used the bathrooms as one per family. This was perfect for us. The Chalet is spacious and well equipped. Communication with Nancy, the owner, was prompt, efficient and welcoming. We were all there to ski and did so every day by catching the bus to peak 8, 50 yards walk. This was pretty lazy as another 2 minutes walking would have got us to peak 8, but the ladies preferred the bus. Skiing was brilliant, no queues, great snow, well marshalled and very polite helpful local skiers. We ate on the slopes which was OK, not posh and the cost was fair. We skied till 1630 each day then went back to the Chalet by bus which took less than 2 minutes. Great when the legs were tired from skiing. Then straight into the hot tub which was perfect to finish off the day. The hot tub on the deck was a great way to wind down, relax and take in the views of the slopes in complete silence. We ate in every night as there was everything you could possibly need to cook for a large group. The exception was when we hired a Chef through the link from Nancy. That was excellent too and will be reviewed separately. The 10 days passed very quickly and the group cannot wait to return to this Chalet next year as we could not find fault with any aspect of the Chalet.
