Neighborhood is walkable. Lyft or Uber can get you pretty much anywhere you want to go in Louisville for $25 or less (normal rates) but be prepared to pay increased rates Derby weekend. Rentable scooters available in the area.
Space is located above another unit. Please be courteous and mindful of noise levels during your stay.
RENTAL AGREEMENT/REQUEST FOR CONTACT INFORMATION: In accordance with booking platform policy and local regulations, guests are required to provide contact information and sign all Rental Agreements within 24 hours of booking. KENTUCKY DERBY: All Kentucky Derby week/weekend reservations are non refundable, regardless of whether or not a rental agreement has been signed.
RECORDING DEVICES: Recording devices are located on the exterior of the property. Devices record audio and video and recordings are triggered by motion. Devices will be active during guests stay. Recording devices only capture views of the exterior. Guest safety and privacy are top priorities. These recording devices exist solely for the safety and security of our great guests!
NO SMOKING: Absolutely no smoking or vaping inside the home
CHECK IN: Contactless check in is available until 10 pm EST via keypad. Any guests planning to check in after 10 pm EST must notify the host in writing prior to 10 pm to make accommodations for after hours check in. The host may not be available to assist with any check in issues between 10 pm and 9 am EST

We had a wonderful stay during Derby Weekend. The home was in a wonderful neighborhood with walkable coffee shops, bars, and restaurants. Transportation to downtown and Churchill Downs was a breeze.
This unit was very clean and had a lot of space. Really liked the location and parking was easy. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect stay in Louisville!
I loved my stay! The house is so cute and so clean, and the location could not be better! Very safe and so close to so many parks and restaurants. I would highly recommend this site to anyone staying in Louisville!

This was our second stay at this property. It’s location provided easy access to nearby retailers and to the parking areas for the Derby. It also offered off-street parking and a quiet neighborhood.
We had a wonderful stay at this location. I look forward to returning next year. This location was convenience for our needs.

Great property and location!
It is a great place to stay while exploring Louisville. You can walk to many restaurants and parks.
The apartment is stocked with coffee, paper towels. Plenty of dishes and glassware.
It is located in a charming neighborhood.
Nice little upstairs unit! Clean, great neighborhood centrally located with plenty of food choices within walking distance. Communication with host was always handled punctually. Would definitely stay here again.
Description and photos of the property are exactly as presented. The rental is located on a residential street in a very attractive neighborhood. The area has great restaurants located in very close proximity to the property.
This property is in a beautiful, safe area of Louisville. It’s walking distance to a ton of things and a short Uber ride to others. Communication was with the owner was great! Very clean. Would definitely come back!

Great place to stay if you are planning to come for Tsebel at Debre Haile St. Gabriel Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church. Only about 7 minute drive to the Church.
My husband, son, and I had a wonderful stay here while up to visit our daughter who is a student at U of L. This is a fantastic space with everything you need in our favorite Louisville neighborhood! Great food just two blocks away, plus fun shopping, coffee, more restaurants, and much more just down the street. There’s also a Kroger less than 5 minutes away. We’ll definitely be back for a repeat stay!
The photos make this property look much nicer than it is. It is a old home and not very esthetically pleasing (blinds broken, chain to lock bathroom door, little decor, thin walls - could hear tenant below, etc.) A little TLC and it could be a warm/inviting space. Bathroom is small but the other rooms are good size. Listing advised 2 parking spaces but 2 of the 3 were blocked off repairing a pothole and the other one was taken. Directions to lock/unlock home weren't very clear (you had to do more than just enter the code). We found this out the hard way when trying to get back in. Mgmt says text first then call...we had to call and it said the number only accepted texts, so that didn't work well. Thought we were going to be sleeping in our car. That crisis was adverted. But, the last night the tenant's dog below was left outside and barking for a good hour in the middle of the night. No sleep for us. Overall I was disappointed with this place. But, I will say the kitchen was well equipped and there were ample towels and amenities. It is within walking distance to coffee, a few restaurants, etc. In general it was pretty clean. The managment did respond via text within an hour. Maybe a 6/10 rating. Not terrible, but we wouldn't come back.

Consistently Excellent - returning customer
I am a returning customer, having stayed at one of the Bourbon Rentals residences three times since September, and I am back in a month for my fourth stay. That is testament to the consistent quality of the service from Brandon and Kayla at Bourbon Rentals. Each time, they have been welcoming, organized, quick to respond and they go out of their way to ensure each stay is as comfortable as possible. In a word, professional. I highly recommend Bourbon Rentals. 10/10.
My husband and I along with our adult granddaughter stayed for 5 nights at the apartment. We really like the space and the neighborhood. Even though we were on the go much of the time we could appreciate all it had to offer. The apartment was comfortable and pretty well furnished. The laundry available was OK,, but luckily I brought my own detergent. Still, it was good to have a washer/dryer available as we were halfway through our trip. We would stay again.

The sheets kept coming off the mattress. I think it is because of the waterproof mattress cover.
