TIPPY TOP es un magnífico nivel de tres niveles (3), con 6 habitaciones con 2 habitaciones en cada nivel, 4 habitaciones con cama King, 1 habitación con cama Queen, 1 - 4 camas literas) 4 baños 3600 pies cuadrados. Cabaña de troncos hechos a la medida, ubicada en Shagbark, una comunidad cerrada por guardia de aprox. 6 millas de la avenida en la luz # 3 en Pigeon Forge. Las vistas desde la cabina son espectaculares, de ahí el nombre de la cabina, el lote en el que se asienta Tippy Top es de 3 acres en la cima de una cresta, lo que le brinda una gran privacidad con la ventaja de poder caminar alrededor de la cabina sin el temor de bajadas empinadas, permitiendo que los niños y toda la familia caminen alrededor de la cabaña. La bañera de hidromasaje se encuentra en la parte trasera de la cabaña, frente a las montañas y con vistas a la montaña. Para las noches más frías, hay 2 chimeneas a gas, una en el nivel de la sala principal y otra en la sala de juegos. La cabina tiene 4 habitaciones master king suites con baños en el 3er nivel, hay una habitación king espectacular con una pared de ventanas que rodea una gran bañera de hidromasaje con espectaculares vistas a la montaña con chimenea para las noches más frescas y románticas. La cocina y el comedor están totalmente equipados, desde vajilla hasta cristalería, ollas y sartenes, con todos los pequeños electrodomésticos que la convierten en una excelente cocina para cocinar. Si elige cocinar a la parrilla, disfrute de la vista mientras prepara la comida familiar después de un día completo visitando todos los lugares de interés de Pigeon Forge y el área del Parque Nacional Smoky Mountain de Gatlinburg. Our stay was very relaxing! The cabin was at the top of the mountain with a beautiful view! The area was very quiet and we felt secluded. The rooms were open and spacious. While our kids stayed up all night playing games and charades downstairs, we did not hear any noise upstairs! Each room was fully stocked with all necessities. The host, Mark, supplied us with all the information necessary and we never needed to ask for anything. The cabin was perfect for our long weekend. Next time we would love to stay longer!

This property is spectacular! I can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was. This very comfortably accommodated our party of 14. It is clean and very well stocked. The layout couldn’t have been better with plenty of space for all. The 2 decks have breathtaking views of the mountains, and we even got to see a bear 2 days in a row. Mark was easy to communicate with and very responsive. We would absolutely recommend this place!

R&R Guaranteed!

Not only was this home amazing, but so was Mark! This home guarantees a weight to be lifted from everyday stress. From the moment you park the stress melts away. The views are stunning, the home is gorgeous and every detail has been thought out. From the rustic (and extremely comfortable beds) and furniture, the game room, jacuzzi, beautiful restrooms to the gorgeous kitchen, you will not be disappointed! This was such a nice place for us to gather with loved ones we had not seen in a long while. When we had anything to discuss, Mark was prompt and so helpful. It was hard to come off of the mountain and back to reality. You can't go wrong with this gorgeous property...the only problem is that you will not want to leave!

Christmas Getaway

This home was perfect. We put all the teen/young adults downstairs in those 3 bedrooms with all the games which was PERFECT. Then we put the couples up on the main floor and upstairs and we couldn't have asked for better. The only thing is I would pack your hair dryers, other than that everything you could need is there and there are 2 laundry rooms which is great. I could've just stayed at the cabin and would've been content.

Amazing experience

Tippy Top was awesome. The cabin layout and amenities were perfect for our group. We have found our family cabin in the smokies for our visits. Thank you Mark for sharing your paradise in the mountains. When we first pulled in and saw this brand New real log cabin with these fabulous mountain views we were in amazed. But that's was just the start of this custom large lock cabin. The porches were so big and great for gathering and relaxing

The view from Tippy Top is stunning!

We had stayed in the original Tippy Top in 2021 before it was lost to the wildfires. We came back to stay at the new cabin because Mark is a great homeowner and host. The old Tippy Top was Great, but this new Tippy Top that Mark completed last month is SPECTACULAR. The design and open space is awesome and the views from all rooms are breathtaking. The finishes and decor are top notch the mattresses are very comfortable. We always enjoy coming to the mountains and Tippy Top is our families new choice for making memories that the family will have for a lifetime.

Amazing experience!!!

Tippy Top cabin was perfect for our church retreat. It was more than what we expected! The cabin is beautiful, the room are very nice, and the view was amazing! The owner of the cabin was very nice and easy to work with. We plan on reserving this amazing cabin again in the near future!

Great Trip!!!!

We traveled with a group of 10 people(5 couples). The cabin is brand new and very big. With 3 levels with mountain views, huge porches that wrap around the cabin on the main level. The kitchen is stock very well and again plenty of room and cabinet and cooking space. The lower level has has 3 bedrooms and game room on the back porch a large hot tub for relaxing. VIEWS, VIEWS, VIEWS. Plenty of parking. Mark the owner was a pleasure to work with and kept us informed and answered all of our question during the reservation process thru our stay. We can't wait to comeback and visit again.

Wish we could stay longer!!

Tippy Top is a beautiful property with a beautiful view! We enjoyed every moment! Just be prepared for the drive up the mountain - if you are not accustom to it it can be a bit scary the first couple of time. Just added to the excitement of the trip! Mark was always available and even checked in mid-week to make sure all was well. Thanks for a great family trip! Heather

Wonderful Multi-generational Family Vacation!

Tippy Top exceeded expectations for our family vacation.! There were 9 of us ranging in age from a 1 year old to Great Grandpa who celebrated his 89th birthday while we were there. The accommodations were perfect as Great Grandpa had everything he needed on the main floor, the kids and their parents had the lower level to themselves and the rest of us enjoyed peace and quiet on the second floor. The house was very comfortable, the deck and views were outstanding.! We were a short drive to the action in Pigeon Forge but also had the tranquility of the mountains. It was the very best of both worlds! We even saw a Momma Bear and 4 cubs!

Beautiful Cabin!

This was the most amazing vacation ever! And we must give most of the credit to this beautiful cabin. It was everything as advertised, plus more. The mountain roads were a bit scarey for this Florida girl, so make sure you have a powerful car, which luckily we did. My grandkids LOVED the game room. The kitchen was well stocked and all the bathrooms had plenty of towels. The decor of the cabin is amazing. We definitely recommend Tippy Top! Mark, the owner, always responded with any questions in a timely manner. Looking forward to returning in the future.

Had a great time!

Our group had a great time at Tippy Top! It was clean and had room for everybody. The kids loved all the activities in the big game room downstairs. The view was amazing. Mark, the owner was easy to work with. The kitchen was well-stocked but was super tiny which made it kind of difficult preparing meals for our large group. Unfortunately, we couldn't get the hot tub to heat up when we tried to use it on the last night. It would help if there were instructions for how to operate the hot tub. Thanks!

Good house for the price

We were celebrating my Dad's 70th birthday with 9 grandkids, 6 adults, and 2 grandparents. We rented the house for labor day weekend. The house was roomy and comfortable. I liked that there were table games and a hot tub. Most rooms have TV's and fans. The kitchen was a little small, however, we were able to make meals for the whole family. The water pressure in the bathrooms was weak. The main floor bath only had a Jacuzzi tub with a broken shower head. It would have been nice to have more towels, however, there is a washer/dryer to wash towels and clothes. The view from the house is gorgeous! The street the house is located on is very steep! Could be intimidating for those that are afraid of heights.

taken a lot of abuse

we stayed at tippy top june 5 2010. for a listing as Luxury cabin- we were very disappointed. while we recieved a very good discount for booking early it was obvious the cabin has taken a lot of abuse and this owner is not putting any money back into what was once a luxury cabin. only 50% of the hot tub jets worked due to missing handles, no face plate for the stereo system, no speaker wires in the house for reciever, lamps with missing legs and proped up to stand, broken off ceiling fan blades. AC did not reach the two master bedrooms at all. appliances were dirty with old food. Ants,broken towel holders, broken beds and living room furniture...my dad travels with a tool kit and we ended up fixing and leaving the cabin in better shape than we found it.the gated comm. pool was dirty/cloudy and not appealing to use. The game room however, was awsome. the handy man was very attentive and helped with what he was able. The view was as beautiful and the area attractions are many as is discribed. We would be more disappointed if were charged high season prices and will not re-rent in any season.

Over Rated, Under Maintained, Under Cleaned

First let me say Mark is very nice to deal with, I wish we had not needed to talk as much as we did. We showed up after check in time, to find a cabin that had not been cleaned. I called Mark, he said they would be right back to finish. I took pics, they had yet to even begin. The cleaning crew showed up, so we figured we would play games to take up the time. Nope, as mentioned many times, the game table did not work and pool cues have broken tips. So we sat on the porch. We finally were able to unload and unpack about 3 hours later. During this time I spoke to Mark and he did compensate us for the night. Now, to start vacation. Fire up the grill (which you pay extra for) and cook supper, nope, no gas! Oh well, relax in the hot tub, nope, still cold from late cleaning. Sit by fire place and watch TV, nope, fire place won't light (get to spend couple hours next day letting someone work on it). We were not pleased at all! We come to the mountains every year and are looking for the cabin to keep coming back to, this certainly is not it. For over 300 dollars a night I do not expect to find broken windows, rotted doors and door frames, and games that do not work! The air hockey table is so worn out the pucks will not really float. The time spent waiting for the cleaning crew afforded me plenty of time to take pictures and video of these and other items. The downstairs bedroom has a horrible noise every time the water is turned on anywhere in the cabin or a toilet is flushed. I know this is a small thing, but a cabin of this size that will accommodate this large a group needs a larger coffee pot or maybe more than one pot. Too bad, this was at one time a very nice cabin in a nice area and having a gate/guard is a real bonus.

Dirty, Dated, Dingy Property

Don't know where the guests who have given this cabin anything over 1 star were staying--Tippy Top is 3 things: dirty, dated, dilapidated. We arrived to inches of filth and dust and cobwebs on every surface. Kitchen cabinets caked with grime/dust. A fork stuck in the overhead light - which was filthy. Bathrooms caked with dirt and other people's hair & God knows what else. Bed linens on the bed in the master bedroom were torn and dingy. Afraid to touch any surfaces. It was DISGUSTING. Called & texted Mark (property owner) and sent pics. "Kristy" called back--told her about the filth. Mind you--this was not "gee we missed a spot or two while cleaning"--layers of dust, filth and cobwebs were as a result of months of accumulation and neglect. Kristy had lots of excuses--mainly that there just wasn't time to do a "deep clean" b/w guests and that most guests "don't care" about the dirt. We were appalled. In addition to the dirt, the pool table had no less than 3 big rips in the felt & was FILTHY. Un-playable. After complaining, table was re-felted on our first full day. Since we had 2 dogs with us, I had to stay behind at the cabin & wait for the repair men--weren't going to leave dogs alone w/strangers. Wasted more than half a day waiting for them to show up & repair the pool table. Kristy told us the rips just happened with the prior guests -- false. The repair guys said they were supposed to be out to the property weeks prior but one thing or another got in the way--so, owner knew pool table was unplayable when rented. Kristy also came to "spot clean" areas of concern. Cabin needs a deep clean &sanitization--"spot" clean doesn't cut it. The hot tub was useless. Tried to use it the first night--waterline was below the jets, so got blasted with sputtering air. Water drained over night. Put the hose in it in the a.m. to fill it back up & that resulted in ALL WATER going off in the house. All of it. Called/texted about that. Got a call back from Kristy to instruct me to check on the well water tank. Bottom line: all water goes off in the cabin when the hose is used to fill hot tub that has a leak. Cabin furniture is very dated & worn &dingy. Holes in the floor that are covered with duct tape. Nasty dirty carpet on stairs. Have tried to reach Mark to make the situation right. Multiple texts, calls, emails &message via VRBO--no response at all. Ghosted. Recommend staying away from this rental unless you're okay w/dirt&dated

Out Of Town Owner and You Can Tell

First let me say that while the owner was nice during our communications it was an issue that he was many states away and unavailable at urgent times. There were so many issues that I'm not sure all of them can be addressed in the small space allotted in this review. 1. Issue at check-in where all but one car was rejected at the gate. Couldn't reach the owner for about a half hour so family was sitting in cars on the side of the road outside the community gate. 2. Many things were missing and/or broken. The dishwasher is not bolted to the countertop so when you open it, it tilts forward until it hits the counter. There was a dust pan and no broom... with 12 adults and 3 kids no way we could go a week without sweeping the floors. We bought one at walmart. There was only 2 rolls, including the ones on the holder, of toilet paper in each bathroom. Luckily toilet paper is cheap but that's one more trip to the store (takes about 30 minutes to get there because of traffic!!!). Showers didn't drain and the main floor bathtub faucet squirts water everywhere... there isn't a shower in there so it's also kind of a pain for guests on the main floor (i.e. grandma to go up or downstairs to shower). 3. The deck was coming apart at the seams (literally!) so I'm not sure how safe it will be in the near future. 4. The bees were terrible so you couldn't spend much time on the ground floor patio or in the hot tub. 5. The directions for trash say to put the trash at the curb... yeah the subdivision security said absolutely DO NOT do that because of the bears. We weren't sure how the trash would get taken out and it was completely overflowing by the end of the week. We had trashbags piled inside because there wasn't room in the cans and you can't leave it out. 6. The towels were brand new which was great! So brand new that they still had tags on.. so they hadn't been washed which I would recommend. 7. The internet, though we didn't expect much, was terrible when you have a house full on it... the router is also in the worst place possible (in the basement next to a stone fireplace). Also, the cords and wires in the basement hooked to the router were a complete mess... not child friendly. 8. There is only one small fridge/freezer for a 6 bedroom, 15 person house. Just plan wisely!! There is a mini fridge in the basement but it's... mini. 9. The kitchen is teeny tiny. 1 person at a time. We had a good time regardless. We will not return or refer to this cabin.

Perfect mountain getaway

The house was beautiful and very clean. The house was fully stocked with everything you will need. Our family enjoyed the beautiful wrap around deck with amazing views, coffee in the morning and drinks at night. We had plans to leave during the days to go exploring and have dinner out, but we enjoyed being at the house so much we stayed there most of our trip.I highly recommend this vacation home, we will definitely book again if we vacation in Tennessee in the future.

Amazing views!

When we first pulled in and saw this brand new, real log cabin with the fabulous mountain views, my fiancee and I were amazed. But that was only the beginning! The porches were perfect for a large gathering and for relaxing, the kids enjoyed the game room with pool table and air hockey. Views, views, views from every room. Mark was an experienced host that answered all our questions in a timely manner and thought of all the little details. The experience was phenomenal, we're even planning on our next trip to Florida to stay at his beach house this summer. 5 stars all the way!

Great getaway

The cabin was spacious and well equipped. The cleanliness was pretty good - clearly under beds and under furniture had not been cleaned but overall was great. Everything was in working condition kitchen was well equipped and outdoor space was great. beautiful views and sunsets

We had TIPPY TOP built in 2007 in Shagbark, We chose Shagbark because of its Park like setting and the shear beauty of the lot that Tippy Top is built on It's views are spectacular and the cabin is very comfortable from the smallest to the largest groups.
