Vacation is real at Seashell Lane. I was so relaxed on this property and just thrilled with the ...

I loved the lap pool across the street with a fantastic hot tub, with a huge umbrella if you need to slip under the shade. The trams to the beach were so pleasant and the drivers and helpers were very friendly. It was a breeze to get to the beach.

Minor updates would go a long way

Stained carpet that kinda came up after housekeeping hand cleaned it for 5min. Imagine what a rug scrubber or a little more elbow grease would do. Deck boards loose and wobbly. Looks like the ones in the screened in balcony part have been replace but the other side is not safe for unbalanced people. The bunkbed/kids room had tiny finishing nails sticking out that luckily the kids didn't get cut on. We removed the sharp nails. Broken railing at the half way up the steps landing. Another spindle is broken at the bottom of the steps. Bathroom doorknob locked my Uncle in. Maintenance came and fixed it while we were out, but no one notified us that someone was going in our rental unit. They wasn't enough towels, tp, garbage bags, or pillow cases. A bag of linens was delivered on the porch Friday afternoon for the next guest, but we didn't check out until Saturday. Glad it didn't rain, but gross to know sheets and towels are left outside in a bag. Open food and left overs left in the fridge. It doesn't seem as though the unit was cleaned from the last guest. Fridge water had black sludge come out of it. Needs cleaned and sanitized. Master bath jets haven't been cleaned in a long time. There's alot of orange/black sludge build up on them. Hall bath door doesn't latch. Seems someone mentioned it back in June but it was never addressed. Overall it was a great vacation. The beach, tram, and pools were fantastic.

Good Vacation Home

Overall, it's a good vacation home and it's in the perfect location if you have kids. It's right across from the new splash pad and very close to the fitness center in the back of the community. It's very spacious and actually has 1 additional bed if you count the pull out bed under the bottom bunk in the kids room. It wasn't as clean as I would have liked, but that wasn't the renters fault. The only real negative is that it's out of date, especially the appliances. The kitchen is older and there's some dated/worn furniture, but the dryer really needs to be replaced. It sounds like you're repeatedly opening an ironing board while it's running and the sounds is nearly impossible to tune out.

Spacious Condo in a great community

Thank you for letting us stay here. The place had so much room for my family of 7 and very well stocked with towels/sheets etc... and the Sea Colony community is wonderful with great pools and access to the beach. We sure had a great time! Just some issues we had, the place was pretty dusty, it needs a good cleaning and the floors need to be sanded better as there are some nails sticking out. We reported the nail sticking out to Vacasa and they came very promptly to fix the issue. We found another nail sticking out so a thorough clean is needed for this place.

Great place

Wonderful space- great decor and enough beds and bathrooms for large family getaway. Sea Colony has beautiful amenities! We had a great vacation!

Loved our place, location was great, next to a pool. Tram service helped. Condo had everything, only negative was the carpet needed a good cleaning/replacing, oh and a ceiling fan on the screened porch would help!

Graduation beach time!

The property was perfect for the number of friends and proximity to another group of friends. Overall we really enjoyed the condo....it was nicely decorated and clean. Would stay at the condo again.

Fabulous Girls Weekend

We stayed here for a girls weekend and had the best time! The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The porch was perfect for coffee in the morning and drinks before dinner. We did need to call maintenance about plumbing. They were responsive and took care of our requests the same day. Overall, we would be thrilled to stay here again!

Covid safe Grandparent visit

Had not seen our teen/young adult grands in months. Poor dears had been doing online school/college & needed a getaway. Sea Colony was excellent. We all drove short distance to the Beach after a relaxing 15 minutes at the Hot Tub in the Fitness Center (which was a few short steps from our unit). 6 adults & 2 teens all impressed by the decor & Covid-clean! Great Stay - Hope to a repeat at this 3bed+loft w 3 full baths. Thank You.

See Colony is great but the house was not

Bedroom one has it listed with a queen size bed but it was a full/double size bed. No queen bed in the house at all. Burnt out light bulbs in bathroom and laundry room. The blinds in the upstairs loft bedroom were broken/dangling offering no privacy or blocking of morning sunlight and when I called was told that they would not be able to repair during our stay but someone did eventually come and installed a curtain. The cleanliness was really bad. Bathrooms especially. The showers and toilets do not look they had been cleaned in weeks. I have pictures if you need. Also, NO garbage disposal which drove us crazy.
