Why Rita Mohler chose Northwest

After using VRBO for years, we decided to take the plunge and buy our own place. Although we rent the home when we are not planning to use it, this is decidedly not a rental property. Its our home away from home, so the look and feel is much more welcoming than a high volume condo. We live in Denver and visit as often as we can, but when we are not there we hope you will enjoy all the amenities that Breckenridge and this home have to offer.

In 2013 we decided to add 1,000 square feet by refinishing the basement. Finished to a very high standard, this fully permitted living room, bedroom and bath includes a gas fireplace, pool table, dartboard and heated tile floor full bath.

What makes this house unique

Our favorite features are the view, the hot tub, location and the wood burning fireplace. The beauty of this home is that it is close to everything, but you feel like you are getting away from it all!

Beautiful Home, Great Views, Privacy, and Perfect Location

  • 5 of 5

We had an amazing time in Breckenridge! This house was perfect for us, and the owners were great. It is in a great location, easily accessible, conveniently located close to downtown, and has plenty of privacy. The views from the back deck were incredible! We saw a fox running through the snow in the back yard our first day, a very cool sight.

The house had tons of room and was very comfortable for 9 of us. The hot tub was huge and the perfect place to relax after a day of skiing and snowboarding. There was plenty to do in and around the house as well. Pool, ping pong, movies, hiking, and more.

We had an awesome weekend and would definitely stay here again!

Extremely impressed!

  • 5 of 5

The property was even better in person. This home was very clean, spacious and accommodating for families. The directions to the home as well as all the information you needed for getting in was explained very well. The owner was very helpful with questions we had before we got there. I would recommend this beautiful home anytime of the year but loved our Christmas stay. Looking out the back door and seeing the snowy mountains and skiers was amazing. You won't be disappointed!

Excellent Stay Overall!!

  • 5 of 5

Reserving the home was very easy. The directions sent to us prior to arrival were perfect and getting to the home was no trouble at all. This was our first experience in snow so we were unsure of driving in it but had no trouble here. The home was very clean throughout and had everything we needed. Both families (4 adults/5 kids) slept comfortably and had plenty of space to spread out if needed. The older kids enjoyed a few movies that were available while the little ones dug into the board games. Ample firewood was supplied and we had a nice fire every night.

I would definitely stay again and recommend this home to other friends/family.

This was one of our most enjoyable vacations yet!

Thank you again to the Mohler family!!

Perfect home for our family White Christmas

  • 5 of 5

Eleven of us from 68 to 20 months had all of our needs met and our desires fulfilled. We all had private places to go for quiet and public places to play and get together. The young (and young at heart) loved the downstairs gameroom where they could whoop and holler while the rest of us enjoyed movies, cooking and cards upstairs. The two master bedrooms were wonderful-comfortable and private allowing us old folks to occasionally escape. From the drive up where we saw two moose lounging around to the garage, we had no problems navigating. The roads were plowed and easy to navigate the app. 10 minutes to Breck. We found the Walmart in Frisco very easy and quick to get to for all our needs and even took the beautiful drive to Dillon for a family bowling treat. Thank you for the Christmas tree and for the endless supply of firewood; we enjoyed both immensely. The kitchen was well supplied and was used every waking hour. We did have some flat cookies and dry cornbread due to altitude, but cooked many big family meals. The toys for the kids were a wonderful surprise. Thank you for the use of your home; it was a wonderful family experience!
