We're a family that has lived in Colorado for 30 years, in Breckenridge and Boulder. We love to share our mountain chalet with guests from far and wide. We're skiers, climbers, runners, bikers, fishers, hikers and you name it. We're happy to make suggestions and provide local information about things to do or places to see. Our home in Breckenridge is an awesome basecamp for adventure and enjoying the great outdoors and all Colorado has to offer. We invite you to come and stay!
Why they chose this property
The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful and remote, just 10 min. from downtown Breckenridge. Spectacular views of Mt. Baldy and plenty of sunshine. Moose, fox, snowshoe hare, and other wildlife may be spotted. The home is 1/2 of a duplex on 1.5 acres of lovely forest, backing to open space. A 2 minute walk to numerous trails, and short mile to the Blue River where you can fish or access the bus or bike path. Skiing, snowshoeing and biking right out your door. The home is easily accessed just minutes off of Hwy 9, via a maintained and plowed county road. Broken Compass Brewery, Breckenridge Distillery and other great restaurants are right down the hill on Airport Rd. Thank you for respecting and preserving our beautiful area.

There's a free town bus or Summit Stage available nearby on Airport Rd or Hwy 9. Free ski area parking with access to Gondola 5 mins away on Airport Rd. The Peaks Trail (USFS) and Barton Creek Trails are out your door. It's a 2 min drive or 20 min ski/walk to Breck Nordic Trails. The Breckenridge Golf Course and fishing on the Blue River is 10 min away. Note: All vehicles during ski season should have 4WD/AWD or good snow tires to safely drive the plowed county roads up to the house-watch your speed going downhill.
