This 2 BR/2 BA, 2 story second floor apartment the largest rental unit in this building is located in a quiet boutique six unit condominium development located steps from the sparkling turquoise waters and white sands of the famous Grace Bay beach.

The apartment is located in the middle of the Grace Bay community. There is NO NEED FOR A CAR unless you want to explore other parts of the Island, with some of the best restaurants in the Caribbean, exclusive resorts, bars and shopping, snorkeling and scuba diving all within a 5 minute walk from the apartment.

The apartment is furnished in a contemporary style, granite counter-tops, stainless steel appliances, Kohler bathroom fixtures and high vaulted wood ceilings give this a distinctly modern yet Caribbean flavor. The exterior balcony is the perfect place to unwind and watch the sun go down after a hard day at the beach or pool.

French Riviera Condos - Grace Bay

The location of this property was great. A short walk to the beach, shopping, eating, and casino. The swimming pool was a nice alternative. The owner is nice enough to have beach chairs, umbrellas, and snorkeling masks, which we took advantage of. I would encourage any visitor to have access to a VPN for their phones and computers and with that, casting to the TV allows you to see your shows.

Great and affordable place to stay for a larger family. Clean when we arrived. Air conditioners work great! Only reason for 4 stars were due to some unforeseen hiccups- refrigerator was not working and we had to wait for the guy to finish before leaving for dinner (which we were late). Would have been nice to have someone else there. The walk to the beach is safe and beautiful. Neighbors were nice. Owners were prompt and very nice. Fresh TC water cooler was awesome!! Had cooler, beach chairs and umbrellas included! Great location, close to so much! Can’t beat the easy walk to CocoBistro!

Great getaway hideout

This was a fantastic find. We were just a 2-3 minute walk to the beach in a very quiet, private condo. We barely even knew there were others staying in this group of 6 units, everyone was so quiet and respectful. This unit has everything. A complete set of pots, pans and dishes to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner. The grocery store was just a quick, 15 minute walk away! The property manager could not have been more helpful. The instructions were very clear and thorough. We used the beach umbrella and chairs daily, no issue with bringing them to the beach, we just placed them away from the resort chairs and no one complained (or really even noticed). The washer and dryer was a nice addition as well! All in all a great location to relax

Location, Location, Location

This villa has the best location in Grace Bay. A 5-minute (or less) walk to the beach - which is the part most central to most of the activity on Grace Bay. We cannot imagine a better villa for the value. It is super centrally located for almost everything you would want to do in Grace Bay. The grocery store is about 1/2 mile, downtown Grace Bay is also about the same. We ended up renting a car so we could more easily get around the island (definitely cheaper than getting cabs everywhere). The villa had a great sitting area out front with views of the pool. A wonderful spot to drink coffee in the morning! The inside was clean and met our needs for a vacation where we spent most of the time outside! The living area could have been a little bit more comfortable - again, with my family, it worked fine. Kitchen was well-stocked enough for us to cook a few meals. Overall a great spot and when we return to Turks, we would not hesitate to rent here again!!

AAAHHH, Turks and Caicos! There is NOT a more beautiful island!!! It is our second time to the island and we cannot get enough of it. It is our first time renting a house. Our stay was 5 days, 4 nights. The house is located in a GREAT location.....a 2 minute walk to the most beautiful beach and a 5-10 minute to AMAZING restaurants, grocery stores, and more. The owners have left a complete and concise GUIDE to everything that is available in the area. It helped quite a bit. Thank you!!! The house itself is quaint; the rooms are small, but they serve their purpose. The house would need a little upgrade (bathrooms/showers) and furniture is somewhat worn....the chairs in this picture were not the ones in the home. The chairs in the home were wooden, with small, dilapidated pillows on them. We arrived while the cleaning service was there. She was AWESOME and was working hard, but it's a two story house....perhaps a team of two would be recommended. The pool, too, was not clean for two days of our 5 day visit. The pool cleaning service arrived while we were in the pool. They did an awesome job. Once again, perhaps a management system where such details could be supervised and assessed. The WIFI worked sporadically....sometimes yes, sometimes no and only in the living room. The fridge leaked and did not work properly. We had purchased breakfast and lunch foods and only realized the next day that the fridge was not working. The freezer worked as the fridge. The temperature of the freezer was good for maintaining our foods cold, NOT FROZEN. There was an infestation of bugs in the main bedroom's bathroom. We found over 20 insects (sorry, don't know the name of this insect) in the bathroom sink and bathtub. We got rid of them and this was a one time incident. Overall, it's an AMAZING location, quaint house.....just needs a little polish to it.

Great location!

The unit was very much as pictured. It's a short walk from the beach and several good restaurants. The A/C works well, the kitchen is spacious, and the front deck is a great place to relax or dine. A few updates to the unit would also be welcome. The LR furniture isn't especially comfortable and some conveniences were missing (e.g., a shelf or rack in the shower, a standard size cutting board, a working beach umbrella, paper towels) but overall the unit was a good place to stay.

Our stay in French Riviera was exactly what we where hoping for. Excellent location, walking distance to restaurants, shops & above all Grace bay beach. The property is maintained to an exceptional stanard & we where extremely comfortable. The amenities such as kitchen & grilling area gave us the option to cook for ourselves as we did on several occasions especially after coming in from a daily excursion & just wanted to relax. This property was perfect for us & I would definitely return.

Highly recommended hidden Gem in the perfect location!

What an amazing find in the heart of Grace bay! This gorgeous condo is located on a quiet street behind Villa Del Mar and is in the perfect location. The stunning Grace bay beach is only a 5 minute walk and local shops and restaurants only 10 mins away. The condo is split over 2 floors with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first floor has a gorgeous open plan dining/kitchen/living area. The main bedroom with a huge on suite and a second bathroom with shower are also on this floor. On the second floor is the 2nd bedroom with queen bed and bunk beds. The condo is imactually clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is amazing and has everything you need if you want to cook for yourself and there is also a gas BBQ. We loved coming back to the condo for lunch after a morning on the beach and then relaxing by the pool in the afternoon. We had the pool area to ourselves most days which was fantastic! Our evenings were spent on the front porch with cold glass of wine after walking back from having dinner in Grace bay. It is in such a beautiful peaceful location, we couldn't have asked for more! We had the most relaxing vacation EVER! I would highly recommend this condo and Vicky the landlord goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect for you. It really is a home away from home with everything you need for a fabulous vacation. You won't be disappointed!! We can't wait to return to this hidden gem in paradise!

Great value and great location

We had a great time at the French Riviera. The apartment is within walking distance of the main shops and restaurants at Grace Bay but most importantly is even closer to a great spot one of the finest beaches I've been to. Very easy access via the Grace Bay Club and the benefits of being able to use their bar/restaurants whenever you feel like it as well as the other resorts around Grace Bay. Victoria is a very helpful landlord and quickly responded to questions and any problem we had. This isn't a resort it's very nice family home that you can make your own especially if you have small children, indeed simple things like a high chair and crib made a huge difference to our time in there. The Graceway market is close by and you can walk or rent a taxi very easily for the initial stocking of the kitchen. The pictures and reviews are very accurate and I'd have no hesitation recommending the French Riviera.

New Years Eve Vacation

To anyone thinking of a vacation in Turks and Caicos, this property is highly recommended. The accommodations are extremely comfortable and the owner's thoughtful assistance was a fantastic bonus. The property is down the street from the most beautiful beach in the world, and a short walk from shopping, lots of dining options and a great harbor. I would recommend renting a scooter, you can see the whole island in a couple days, and taxis can get a little expensive. Bon Voyage!

Wonderful!!!!

This was our 2nd time to TCI, but our first at Victoria's condo. The condo was everything like in the description and pictures...but only better! This 2 bdrm/2 bath/2 story condo is on the second floor of the building with outside access, located on a quiet street just behind the Villa Del Mar. The first level consists of the dining/kitchen/living area, master bedroom (queen bed) with master bath, and second bathroom with shower. The second story is where the 2nd bdrm (queen bed and bunk beds) is located...which was great for our 24 yr old son who traveled with us this year. Although we didn't do much cooking at the condo, it seems to be very well stocked with dishes, utensils, pans, etc. There is also a gas BBQ grill at the pool area for use. I found throughout our stay, my favorite spot was the front porch for morning coffee, an afternoon drink, and evenings of conversation. By frequenting the front porch, we were able to meet our neighbors and enjoy "Garfield" the cat. Maybe it was the time of the year, but we did not use the A/C once! From the time we walked in until the time we had to leave, we opened all the windows to let the cool trade wind breezes through...although we did utilize the ceiling fans. The only load of laundry I did was our towels from the beach, and both washer & dryer worked great. The condo is very well located to everything; although we had a rental car to experience the island, you wouldn't need it here. It is just a 5 minute walk to access Grace Bay Beach, 5-10 minute walk to the bakery, restaurants, shopping, grocery store, and 5 minutes further for more restaurants and shopping. (Some places were walked to were Caicos Bakery, Jimmy's Dive Bar, Danny Bouy's, Pizza Pizza, Graceway Gourmet. Go to FOTTAC in Regent Village to do rum tasting!) We did have to contact Victoria once due to an internet/TV problem, but she responded very quickly and checked into the situation. BTW, before our trip we did contact our cellular carrier to have our phones set up for emergency use, but when we got to the condo, we learned that Victoria had a basic cell phone there pre-loaded for use (and reload at our cost if needed). What a plus!!! Also, a water cooler with 5 gallons of water for use. Those small extras are so appreciated! In the end, we were sad to go. The condo was like our home-away-from-home. Don't overlook this wonderful place just because it's not on the beach... we would definitely stay again!

relaxing getaway in paradise near the heart of it all in Grace Bay!!

We stayed in Victoria's French Riviera 2-bedroom home the last week of February 2014 with another couple! We were celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary & 10years for us!! The location of the property is ideal!! Very close walk to the beach! Restaurants &grocery store are just blocks away& we felt very safe walking around!!(even ventured off course one day & ended up seeing the local culture& meeting some locals)! We did rent a car (thru Thrifty)for our entire stay& were happy we did!(although it's not necessary) we enjoyed driving all over the island & would get up early just to figure out what adventure or area we'd like to visit next!! We ate breakfast every morning at the condo & even prepared a few dinners both using the grill & the complete kitchen! We were able to use the pool nearly every afternoon and always had it to ourselves! We had some of the best meals ever while visiting tci! Some of our favorites were:Somewhere Cafe(right on the beach near Coral Gardens, which also had amazing snorkeling from shore...we even saw a huge Barracuda while we snorkeled), Vix(part of the Regent hotel) had great food, wonderful ambiance with outdoor seating& relaxed atmosphere, Las Bistras(beautiful view of Chalk Sound, & well worth the trip...don't miss Taylor & Sapodilla Bay, as the shallow waters & beautiful beach are perfect& relaxing, & even had a boat come in selling fresh lobster while we were there!), Big Al's has great wraps & shakes(located in the salt mills shopping area), & enjoyed Danny Buoy's, & Seaside cafe (also one of our best meals, next to the bakery)!! We tried somewhere new for each meal we ate & were never disappointed!! We utilized the guestbook provided for ideas on things we shouldn't miss & tried to both relax & also see as many things as we could! We went through Blue Waters ocean kayaking(self-guided though) thru the mangroves & over to iguana island!(absolutely beautiful beach on the other side, as well as kayaking down to the next beach & crossing to the other side where we had the entire thing to ourselves, got to see starfish, a lemon shark, and a huge eagle ray!) Did a private 1/2 day charter w/Grand Slam Fishing & had amazing results(caught 5 wahoo, 1 over 70#, & 1 baracuda!) Victoria was more than accommodating when it came to suggestions and anything we needed before& while we were there!! Loved walking Grace Bay Beach! This home is everything it's advertised as, and we look forward to a trip back to Turks and Caicos soon!!

WARNING! FALSE ADVERTISEMENT

After I read all the enticing reviews and looked all the pictures up I thought it would make the perfect vacation place for my family of 4 + my father who came from another continent to meet us for the Holidays. In such good faith I booked the place for 2 weeks on the highest rate and paid in full. I did not mind signing a contract with a non refundable policy. I NOW KNOW there was a reason for them to do that... Upon arrival we realized the photos and description of facility did not match what was advertised on the website. THERE'S NO OCEAN VIEW! I have taken pictures of every single topic I'm describing below as what they advertised is probably 5 years ago when the property was new and maintained. The communal little spa was full of mold and not safe for usage. There was not a communal bar. The outdoor grill was filthy and with no gas. The "lush tropical landscaping" is a abandoned dirty yard with a dog and a cat hanging around. The first load I washed/dried were full of sand and dirt. The kitchen outlets weren't providing energy. Out of the 3 TVs advertised on the website just one had a proper remote control and was working properly. My babysitter felt from one broken chair left in the dining room. The patio was poorly maintained and a dangerous place for kids due to stairs and open balcony and wires hanging around. Lastly the dish washer when set to work, run for hours if you don't stop it. The place is not a quiet "boutique" in a condominium development. It's a complex where the employees of the resort live. We needed to spend the first couple of days in a row inspecting the place and calling Victoria/Paul for guidance and repairs. The AC needed repair twice in 2 days and I imagine noone who goes to TC expect to deal with leakage noise and luggage damage. By the end of the third day we were obligated to book an extremely expensive hotel because staying at this place was simply unbearable.This was by far the worst vacation experience we have had. It was a financial burden, heartbreaking and dissapointing. After almost 2 months I still cry over this terrible experience...I'm amazed people can use business to hurt people that way.

Great Holiday in the TCI!!

Just got back from a fantastic week in the Turks and Caicos! What a beautiful place to vacation for our family. The condo is just one block back from the beach and the exclusive Grace Bay Club (Beautiful resort if you can afford it by the way). The location is just perfect, walking distance to the beach and many of the amenities (shopping etc) in the area. The unit itself was great, very clean and had everything we needed to make our stay a delight. Eating out is not cheap on Provo, so having a fully functional kitchen/bbq etc is a big plus for those on a budget. So dont let the big sticker prices at the fancy resorts scare you, there are great places to stay in the TCI that wont cost you a fortune, you just need to do your homework. Thanks again to Vicki (the owner) for making our TCI vacation a huge hit with the whole family!!

Amazing vacation!

We just came back from a ten day vacation at French Riviera and we absolutely loved it. We all felt so much at home at this condo that it was hard to leave in order to go home. The condo is exactly how it's described and shown in the pictures. It's also very clean and well maintained. Victoria, the owner is very accommodating, she provided us with a lot of helpful information on where to go and eat out. She was always there when we needed some advice. The condo really is in walking distance to everything you might need, the terrific beach which is only 5 minutes away when walking with little kids, the supermarket, a variety of excellent restaurants, the bakery, shopping. However, we rented a car for the whole time to discover the island and we were happy that we discovered sapodilla and taylor bay. The water is so shallow that you can walk for minutes until it reaches your knees. It's perfect for little kids and really relaxing for the parents. The views are stunning! On our way back we stopped at las brisas restaurant and enjoyed some drinks and swimming in their pool. We also used the pool at the condo a lot and absolutely loved it. We were always the only ones to use it. The restaurants near by the condo are all very good, we had great food every evening, some restaurants are right on the beach which we enjoyed the most. We spent 10 absolutely amazing days in turcs and caicos and it was definitely one of our best and most relaxing family vacations, and we have been to a lot of other destinations before. I would highly recommend this condo to our friends and family and we are already talking about coming back. Thank you so much! We had such a great time!

Christmas on Grace Bay

Flew private from Ft. Lauderdale to Provo Air Canter, great airport and staff. We rented a car and was at the property in about 10 minutes, easy to find. Great apartment with access to pretty much everything you might want, grocery store, beach and several bars/restaurants are easily within walking distance. The car did come in handy and would recommend one as the island is big and there are a lot of things to see. The owners of this property live on island full time and were delightful. Best value in Grace Bay!

This modern, clean, centrally located apartment made our dream a reality. I never thought we'd be able to afford a Turks and Caicos vacation but by renting this apartment from August 7 - August 16th, my family was able to have our most memorable vacation to date. A 5 minute walk to the most unbelievable beach I've ever set foot on. Truly a Caribbean paradise, sunsets included. Our family had a great time diving off of the pier, snorkeling at Coral Gardens and Smith's Reef. Definitely rent a car and check out Sapodilla Bay, Taylor Bay and Chalk Sound. A 5-10 minute walk to restaurants, bars, shopping, car rental, groceries, snorkeling, etc. Clean, spacious and comfortable. A modern unit with all the required amenities including state of the art kitchen appliances, washer and dryer, a pool and BBQ area that we had to ourselves all week, beach towels and beach chairs. The unit also had a Jacuzzi tub. The owners were available for anything we needed and Victoria made the rental process a piece of cake. Garfield the Cat reminded us of our dear pets back home so much that we renamed her Mary after our own. I'll miss hanging with her on the patio for morning coffee. If you want to experience the beauty of Grace Bay Beach without the price tag that normally comes with it, check it out. You won't be disappointed.

Thanks for an amazing vacation rental!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the island and this condo was perfect! I think it's better than it looks in the photos, if that's possible. It was only a couple minute walk from the beach and very quiet. Vicky was very attentive throughout the booking process and our stay. There was a minor issue with the A/C and she was there with the repairman the same day. The boat tour she recommended was incredible. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to all my friends and family. The beach at Grace Bay is second to none. We bought inflatable rafts at the grocery store and spent hours just relaxing in the water. We left them in the utility closet for those of you who stay in the future to enjoy (as long as they last...they weren't high quality).

Turks Vacation 2012

This was a very comfortable home away from home! The unit was tidy & was what we expected based on the pictures we saw. We could have used a second shower rather than a tub, but we made do! Most of our time was spent either on the beach, on snorkeling trips or walking downtown to the many shops and restaurants. There was a wonderful bakery that was also nearby. everything was very conveniently located. The owners were very helpful and accommodating. There were plenty of materials in the unit to suggest where to go. With a description of the proximity to the unit, the materials made it easy to plan your days. I would recommend this rental to others! As for local attractions, snorkeling is a must as is the Fresh Market bakery. We had some deliciously unique burgers at Jimmy's Dive Bar and some amazing seafood at the Seaside Cafe.

Why they chose this property

It was a big step buying property in the Caribbean, but I have been very happy with the choice of this particular association (strata) and the great neighbors here. The other owners all have local roots or interests, and have been great support over the last five years. There is really no other place like our "French Riviera" development. We are a gem among the jewels.

The property is on a quiet dead end lane which is well lighted at night. Very safe and private .
