Happy Ours---Beautiful beach front condo in Surfside Beach, Texas.

Happy Ours is a newly available beach front condo in Surfside Beach, Texas. You can't get any more beach front than this without getting sand in your toes! Happy Ours has two (2) bedrooms and two (2) baths with a well designed floor plan to optimize the space. You can kick back on the large, covered deck and sip your coffee as the sun rises in the mornings and enjoy the sounds of the waves with a cocktail all evening long. This condo is new to the rental market and is impeccably decorated.

Bedrooms /Bathrooms:
The master bedroom has a queen size bed, built in storage and a large flat screen TV. The en suite bathroom has a tub/shower combination with a granite vanity. The second bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed and twin over twin bunk beds, and more built in storage to keep floors clear of clutter. The guest bathroom includes a curtained shower and granite vanity.

Living Room/Kitchen/Dining
Enjoy the unobstructed panoramic view from the large windows in the living room area. It is furnished with matching leather recliners, a flat screen TV, and a sleeper sofa for additional sleeping accommodations. The kitchen/dining area offers a dining table for 4 with additional seating for 4 at the bar. The kitchen is equipped with a stove/oven, microwave, stainless steel refrigerator and dishwasher, RO water filter, and Keurig coffee maker. The kitchen is well lit with beautiful granite throughout.

Decks/Parking
The front deck is furnished with a comfy wicker, cushioned seating group as well as dual captains chairs in the perfect perch for watching the surf, the ships, and the sunrise. The bar height table set on the smaller back deck is a perfect location to enjoy morning coffee. You can easily reach the beach by the wooden walkover just steps from the condo. Included for use during your stay are beach chairs, and beach toys, as well as a wagon to easily transport it all to the beach. Parking for two cars is included in the rental.

Location on the beach was outstanding! My issue continues to be the poor water quality. My wife took a bath in the tub and the water was brown!!! Not good. We love the condo but this water problem is still a big issue. The other issue I have is the Tv. I could not use because I do not use streaming TV. The owner should provide a paid up service with instructions so we could enjoy the TV. My best part of the trip was to get up early and watch the sun rise over the gulf!!!

Great location. Super clean and nicely decorated. Kitchen well appointed.However, we had a problem with a horrible smell of the water. We got there around 5:30 and kids wanted to go right to beach. We stayed until dark and came in to take showers. The smell of the water was horrible. We thought about leaving but it was late in the evening. Unfortunately we had no choice but to use the smelly water. After showering, we ran the water in the showers and faucets for some time. We flushed the yellow colored water out of the toilets for some time. After a while the smell cleared up mostly. My recommendation is to turn the water on as soon as you arrive in case the smell is there so you won't be surprised in the evening when you are ready to shower for bed. And run the dishwasher empty before using it. The landlord commented that SurfSide water has problems, but if that was the case, why did the smell get much better after we ran a lot of SurfSide water through the lines? With no water issues, out stay would have been 5 Star

We recently enjoyed our third stay at this property. It's continues to be everything we love about the beach in this community. The condo is just perfect! Perfect location, accommodations and owner attention to detail. We can't wait until we book our next visit at Happy Ours!

Happy stay at Happy Ours!

Fantastic location right on the beach! The highlight was our shaded perch and captain's chairs overlooking the beautiful sand and surf. We had everything we needed and a comfy, clean condo. The decor was fun and beach / turtle themed. Very bright and fun. Kitchen had nice appliances. Easy beach access to come and go all day. Highly recommend. We will be coming back soon. Brenda was so helpful and responsive. We came down during storm Alberto and she kept us updated on conditions and travel tips. So glad we came. It turned out perfectly.

Happy Ours have us happy hours

We enjoyed our stay. The place was very peaceful and comfortable. I loved being able to see the beach and the water from the living room, bedroom and the deck. We could hear the gulf at night from our bedroom. The bed, linens and pillows were extremely comfortable. They supplied everything we needed. They even had phone charges in the bedroom and kitchen. So convenient. I'm so glad they had a water filter because the city water did not taste good. There was a great restaurant in walking distance. We thoroughly loved our stay.

Everything you need right on the beach

The inside and outside of the property was very clean, spacious and so cute! They have everything you need for cooking and beach fun. We loved the outdoor shower, cozy patio and all the special touches from the owners. We will be back!!

Well kept secret on Texas coast

Awesome stay at a lovely house, prime location on a surprisingly ideal Texas beach. Check-in process was well-constructed/self-explanatory. Beach cart and bag were much appreciated. The description of the property should definitely include that the water quality in Surfside is poor (rather than just mentioning the fact that there is a filter in the kitchen)--this would not have been a deal breaker for us at all, it was just inconvenient not to know beforehand because we had to go back to the grocery store for the amount of drinking water necessary to get us through the trip.

Best place we’ve ever stayed.

The location is perfect. Condo was spacious and very clean. Everything seemed brand new. Literally steps from the beach and we enjoyed setting and overlooking the water in the evenings. Kids loved it also, daughter because the bathroom were good size and very nice and son because they had good internet. We felt very comfortable here and will definitely book this condo again if available.

Super Clean, very comfortable

Our favorite thing was hanging out in the captains chairs on the deck and watching the cars get stuck in the soft sand on the beach. Truly a waterfront location with really nice outdoor furniture. We couldn’t wish for a cleaner more well equipped place. We were surprised at the beach chairs, other extras made it top notch.

Lifelong friends annual trip

The property is beautiful with a great location. A drawback was the water used for showering and in the sinks smelled horrible, it was very overpowering. Other people in the building had the same complaint, but we didn’t know what caused it. The other issue during our stay was we had was a family of three young children staying above us, and you could hear every thing they did it’s almost as if there is no insulation between the two units. I emailed the owner a few times to ask questions and didn’t get any response.. With all that said, it is a wonderful property very close to the beach. The unit provided beach chairs, one which was broken, but there were only three of us so it worked out fine. And, we thought it odd that the master bedroom didn’t have any lamps on the bedside tables and the ones in the second bedroom were so faint you couldn’t really read by them.

Relaxing, Immaculate Beach Front Rental

Happy Ours far exceeds expectations as a relaxing, immaculate beach front rental! This rental was cleaner than clean! Everything anyone would need such as beach chairs and toys, extra bedding, updated appliances, and charge cords add to the peacefulness of this special spot on Surfside Beach. The deck is perfect for watching the sunrise over the ocean whether sitting on the captain chairs or lounging on the couch. There is even a second deck from which one can see the sunset as well. The complimentary beach tote was the cherry on top of an relaxing, stress free vacation at Happy Ours.

We came back!

This was our second stay at this property and we just love it! It's the perfect size for a family of 4 to 5. It's clean, quiet and comfortable, new and modern. This also has one of the closest decks to the waves that I can find. Wonderful ocean views from all around. The beach is super family friendly and the waves are perfect for boogie boarding. The owner is attentive and quick to respond. We are already dreaming of when we can return.

Fabulous beach weekend!

We stayed here with our family for a weekend. Happy Ours was the perfect pick! It had everything we needed and more. It was clean and cozy, and the view from the deck is just amazing! If we plan another trip to Surfside, Happy Ours will be our top pick for places to rent.

Very relaxing for us...

Our trip started out with an "OMG" moment, because we could not locate the condo. Two calls to Brenda helped a lot, when we finally realized how far off we were. The "Howard st" sign was only at the beach end of the street, and I guess I was just bumfuzzled by all the similar condos. When we finally found the street, my wife remembered something in one of the paragraphs about "unit H" or I probably would still be looking. LOL The layout was great. Everything seemed to work properly, and as you said, the beach makes locks stiff to open. The teens enjoyed their time in the surf, and having them in a separate bedroom worked wonders. Thanks for the beach bag, but we left it for the next user, as we have too many already. For us, the Seahorse restaurant Shrimp boil was a highlight, and the beach was not very crowded. Thanks to you both from the CD crew.

Perfect location!

Loved our stay at the Happy Ours! Stocked with beach towels and beach chairs. The porch with captain chair is the absolute best spot to relax...best view, best breeze, best shade. Thank you for the coffee pods and the canvas bag! PS: Providing shampoo would be a plus. Andrea & Family

Wonderful beachfront condo

We had such a great time here. The house was very clean and the owners have added a lot of thoughtful touches such as chargers at each beside table, beach towels for your use, reading lights, etc. The beautiful view from the porch was awesome as well and the short walk to the beach can't be beat. We will be back!

Great place to be!

Just a few steps from the beach with no view obstruction from the balcony. Great bar/restaurant just a 3-4 minute walk down the beach. Very clean and comfortable unit. Will definitely be coming back.

Absolute GEM of a property!!

This is the PERFECT location to get away, and relax. It’s got a small beach town feel, beautiful views, and a clean beach that you can take a nice stroll on. The property is clean, beautifully decorated and centrally located. We loved our vacation!
