Everything about this retreat is perfect. So clean and inviting. Our hosts were responsive and informative. We loved the fishing off the dock plus seeing lots of wildlife. Rarely do we say we will plan another stay but with this one we will!

Cozy with a beautiful view

Love this home! The open kitchen, the back porch, the river view, the comfortable beds, the location so close to Rainbow Springs…so many things to love! The hosts are very easy to communicate with and have thought of everything to make it a wonderful experience.

Relaxing on the River

Husband working lots of hours, needed to get away & rest. It was a great place to do that. Watching the river rise and flow, hearing the birds. Very peaceful!

Great River Getaway

Perfect vacation home

This was the most amazing vacation property we have ever stayed in. The home and property are even more beautiful in person than in the pictures. Everything was very clean and we had everything we needed. It’s very private but still close to lots of activities. We would definitely stay there again if we vacation in that area!

Beautiful home and location

This home and property was exactly what we needed. We hope to return for a lengthier stay. Getting to the home was easy and not far from local restaurants and activities. The River was so peaceful and the house was a true place for rest and relaxation. Hope others enjoy it as much as we did even if only for a few days.

River Retreat

Adam and Jennifer responded immediately to any questions we had. Check in was a breeze and they thought of everything to make us feel at home during our stay. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed having the kayaks on site to explore the peaceful river. There are walking and bike trails and three golf courses only minutes away. We plan on returning next year.

Christmas visit

We enjoyed the stay at the river house very much. The owners were very attentive. Pretty chilly weather so we did not get to really enjoy the river activities but hope to on another stay!

Revived at River Retreat

The River Retreat is a beautiful place to kick back and relax! We had a blast tubing the Rainbow River as well as kayaking and fishing from the dock! Playing backgammon on the back porch! Enjoyable stay!

River Retreat Can’t Be Beat

Such a beautiful property, great hosts. Very clean modern / updated furnishings. Hosts were easy to contact, personable and friendly. Nice and quiet, listen to the birds singing and the river flowing. River Retreat is just that. Would do this one again. 🙂

We have a love for seeing homes & properties restored & awakened to their full potential & have been doing it for as long as we can remember in our 30 yrs of marriage. We have 2 adult children, a few pets that are more like children & live full time in Orlando, FL.
We are currently working on our 2nd rental & will be adding it to VRBO early 2025!

Why they chose this property

Jennifer grew up coming to the property next to this one. It was purchased by her grandfather in the 70's and has been passed down through the generations. When this little gem came up for sale we all got a little excited to see it brought to its full potential & be an extension of the memories & beauty. While it has been a lot of hard work & a whole lot of time, it has brought us so much joy to see this home shined up & ready to greet guests!
