The house was very nice and had all the amenities that you could ever need. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone else that is looking to be in your Rainbow River. The host was very accommodating and checking in and checking out was very smooth.

We stayed for a couple nights for a golf tournament. The house was very clean and so comfortable. I enjoyed morning coffee on the back porch while watching the many birds and squirrels in the back yard. We didn't cook while there, but the kitchen was very well equipped and would have been great for cooking a nice dinner. The neighborhood was beautiful and very quiet. Close to many restaurants and the golf course. A perfect place for our weekend away.

The home is beautiful and very comfortable. The hosts have thought of everything including multiple charging cords in every room. The screened back porch is very relaxing and usually has a cool breeze.

Fabulous!! 5 Stars

Best equipped VRBO we've stayed in. Felt like home. Host was very readily available, shared insights on the area, and kept us posted on local events. Will return!

Beautiful house, strictly ran

Honest review-The house is beautiful and well maintained, equipped with all kitchen, bathroom, and bedding essentials you may need. It is cleaned spotlessly and there are some games and other activities inside to make for some fun family time. The neighborhood is gorgeous with a walking trail out the back yard. The hot tub outback is off limits. Main problem is with surveillance. They seem to watch you at all times. No where in the listing or posted in the house did we find that the garage was “not an amenity”. The house was even posted to come with 2 new bikes, however we took a bike out and received an immediate 15 charge for use of the bikes which wasn’t allowed according to the owner. You feel like you are being watched so if privacy is important, look elsewhere. The cameras in garage actually follow you. I booked this as last minute getaway for my family of 5 (me, husband, infant in one room, and two children to share another room). There were not many options left in the area so we chose this 3 bedroom house. Invited another family along as we would only be using two of the bedrooms. My mistake for not going back and checking that it was listed for 6 people, as most 3 bedroom rentals sleep more. There are doorbell cameras and security cameras along the entire perimeter and we were charged for the 3 extra guests per night. Understandable, as it’s house rule. we left the place very clean and were only there to sleep. Probably more suited for older couples.

About the host

My family has lived in the Tampa Bay area for many years. Growing up we loved our beaches but we also found time to frequent Florida springs; Rainbow Springs and River have always been my favorites. When my husband and I were looking for property, Dunnellon was the obvious choice. We plan to retire here one day, but in the meantime we will visit as often as we can and share this beautiful place with guests whom we hope will love it as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

We loved this neighborhood from the moment we drove through. The properties offered more privacy than others and the abundance of trees, greenery, and flowers made it feel like a beautiful park!

What makes this property unique

Our property is unique because our greenbelt boarders the walking/bicycle path that traverses the community.
