The Space:

Whether you’re looking for a family retreat or a couples destination, centrally-located SunDestin Beach Resort, fits the bill. Located directly on the Gulf of Mexico in beautiful Destin, FL, this resort has loads of amenities, including a newly-renovated outdoor pool, and on-site fitness facility. An outdoor hot tub are also available as are a steam room and sauna. Enjoy complimentary DVD rentals. Adults can chill at the outdoor tiki bar. Beach chairs and umbrellas are also available for an additional fee, but be sure to swing by the lobby gift shop before heading out to stock up on supplies and snacks. With over 3,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, SunDestin Beach Resort is ideal for weddings, family reunions, and business meetings. Our warm and friendly Scenic Stays team will be available throughout your stay via our 24-hour on-site front desk.



This 16th floor unit has been recently renovated in a coastal-modern décor. The unit features ceramic tile throughout. With a king-size bed in the bedroom and a queen-sized sleeper-sofa in the living room, the unit accommodates up to four comfortably. There are 1.5 bathrooms with new cabinets, granite vanities and a shower/tub combination. The fully-equipped kitchen includes new cabinets, granite countertops and a lovely backsplash, all new stainless-steel appliances and every amenity of home. The dining room seats up to 6 and opens to the living room, which leads to a private balcony that includes a high-top table and chairs to enjoy the emerald green waters and sugary white sands of the beach.



Supplement margaritas and paddle boarding with some shopping at Destin Commons, located just 10 minutes away. The whole family will enjoy this outdoor lifestyle center, boutiques, a movie theater, and a Bass Pro Shop.



Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their  stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.

The BEST birthday get away!!

My husband and I stayed here for my birthday get-away. The condo was newly renovated and absolutely beautiful!! The decor was very simple and elegant, yet still gave the beach vibe (which we loved). The condo was very clean and had everything we needed! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

My family has vacationed in Destin for 30 yrs and we have never stayed here before. The condo itself was very nice - the couch needs a little cleaning, but overall very comfortable. The only note I found strange is that we couldn’t leave the door to the balcony open without an inch of water/condensation forming on the floor, and there are ZERO bathroom or kitchen mats, so we were all slipping all over the place. The view was HEAVEN and definitely worth the price we paid. The negatives - amenities are quite dated, the guys that work the beach chair hut were SUPER RUDE, and there were KIDS EVERYWHERE. We are looking to buy a place, but sadly had to rule this one out - the elevator wait times were crazy and there were just too many unattended children for us to be able to enjoy our time away from our busy life.

Just some time away

I’m a full time stay at home mom, who really needed to recharge. This was the absolute perfect place to do that! The view from the balcony was amazing. The condo was immaculate. The beach was pristine and the weather was perfect. The property and staff were wonderful and I always felt safe. My only complaint is that I couldn’t stay longer and the wifi is very patchy, especially in the bedroom. Other than that, I’m hoping to make this a yearly getaway for myself.

Problem with building, not individual condo.

I am leaving less than 5 stars in all categories because we had trouble with the property itself. The property is older (the individual condo is beautiful and upgraded though.) Because of its age, some of the elevators were under maintenance. The other elevators sounded horrible when we used them to the 16th floor. Everyone that road them were a bit nervous. There was very little security measures in the building. Anybody off the street can walk in, take the elevator, walk through another door (no key needed to open) and access our rooms. One night at 2:00 pm someone banged on our door about 10 times. Scared me to death. Later we found out this person banged on someone else’s door too. No security. Another evening (of our 4) the alarm to the building went off with a voice saying (VERY LOUDLY) to evacuate immediately and don’t use the elevator. It was 4:00 am!!! We got dressed as quick as we could, grabbed some valuables then headed down 16 flights of floors. I was shaking. (We had been through the trauma of the OKC Bombing.) When we arrived at the bottom we were told it was a false alarm. It happened THREE MORE TIMES! We were in Destin to officiate a funeral. I was also not feeling well and craved rest. I was not rested but the opposite after two very disturbing evenings. I contacted the property, told them about the situation and requested part of my trip be reimbursed. We paid a lot of money for this off-season room. I asked for at least the property’s portion to be reimbursed. I have yet to hear from them. It’s been 10 days or more. I wouldn’t stay here again for no other reason except I didn’t feel safe. There were not good security measures in place. The condo itself was wonderful but they need to have key codes to the individual floor entrances in those doors. Their alarm system needs help. Their elevators need major renovation.
