Charming farmhouse in Tuscany

Just returned from 2 weeks at this fantastic property! The views are breathtaking and the historic, updated farmhouse is charming beyond words. It has been in the family for 300 years and is well loved. From the collections of antique alarm clocks to the professional stove - it was perfect. It is an actual farm, which we loved! We looked forward to the daily visits from the dog, cat and bunny. There are cows, sheep and horses too. The driveway is lined with olive trees. Pizzeria "Da Carla" is just at the bottom of the hill and has the best thin crust pizza! Their house wine and other dishes are fantastic as well. There are a couple of other restaurants in the tiny village as well. Pescia, Lucca and several wineries are a short drive away. We used the farmhouse as a home-base and made several day trips. To note: there is WiFi but it is spotty. We wished for a sharp knife, but other than that the kitchen was well stocked. Our hosts, Elisa and Roberto, live on the property and were friendly and accommodating. (There when we needed something - but left us alone to enjoy ourselves) I would highly recommend this property and hope to return there!

Schön gelegenes (Berg-)Ferienhaus

Sehr netter Empfang und Gastgeber - großräumiges Ferienhaus (Teil des Hauses - die Besitzer wohnen obendrüber bzw. im hinteren Teil). Nett gelegen in den Bergen mit Garten und Pool. Auch tierfreundlich - richtiger Agritourismus. Würde allerdings empfehlen neuee Matratzen für einige der Betten zu besorgen - besser für den Rücken. Große Terasse mit Tisch - konnten wir viel nutzen - auch abends. Danke

Nettes altes Haus

Wir waren 3 Erwachsene 1 Teenager und 3 Kinder zw. 4 und 10, leider war der Pool nur am ersten Tag sauber, weder lief eine Pumpe noch wurde er im Lauf der 2 Wochen gesäubert. Pool war Entscheidungskriterium - daher schade! Sonst ein schönes Haus, Einrichtung entspricht nicht ganz der Beschreibung.

Schönes liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus

das Haus liegt rd. 20 Autominuten hinter dem Ort Pescia. Hier ist es total schön, umringt von kleineren Bergen, sehr ruhig und nicht so heiß. Das Haus bietet ausreichend Platz mit großen Zimmern, separaten Badezimmern, einem großen Esstisch und natürlich der schönen überdachten Terrasse. Alles war total gemütlich und sehr sauber,

Rustikal und erholsam

Unterkunft war eher rustikaler, Zimmer waren wie angegeben und in Ordnung. Genügend Platz und Kleiderbügel. Badezimmer für jedes Zimmer extra, außer für das Zimmer mit Einzelbetten. Wohnzimmer nicht genutzt, Platz für 4 (Foto stimmt nicht mehr überein). Nur die Küche ist mehr als rustkal, Gasherd in aber in Ordnung. Großer Kühlschrank und Gefrierschrank, Filterkaffeemaschine vorhanden. Pool war nett, sauber. Grillplatz verfügbar. Kohle selbst mitbringen.

Wunderbar

Wunderschönes Ort zum entspannen und erholen, viele kleinere Dörfer die man besuchen kann. freundliche Menschen egal wohin man geht. Etwas abseits von typischen Touristen orten, aber das ist genau das beste daran. Weg dahin ist sehr eng und abenteuerlich In der nähe ist ein wunderbares Restaurant, das ist Pflicht für jeden der dort Urlaub macht, sehr lecker. Das Möbel sollte teilweise ersetzt oder verbessert werden. Bilder der Unterkunft könnte man auch updaten, es ist nicht alles so hübsch

Selskabet er delt i oplevelsen af ferien. Efter nogle dage mere positivt for alle, men man skal kunne acceptere dyrelyde og en lettere snørklet vej til huset. Personligt ville jeg anbefale det ;-)

Une expérience authentique et inoubliable !

Nous avons passé 3 semaines géniales chez Elisa. L’hôte tient une ferme et habite sur le même terrain mais nous laisse beaucoup d’intimité. Elle est discrète et très gentille. Elle nous a bien renseigné sur les choses à voir alentours etc. L’endroit est dans les montagnes ce qui laisse beaucoup de tranquillité.

Huisje in de bergen (middle of nowhere)

Huis ligt 20 minuten vanuit pescia via slingerweggetjes naar boven. Voor supermarkt in pescia (broodjes/ontbijt) ben je 2x 25 minuten rijden kwijt. We misten het toscane-gevoel met uitzicht op glooiende heuvels en cypressen. Het was meer dichtbebost, bergachtig. Wel prachtige dorpjes in de nabije omgeving. Huis was op zich prima, wel beetje gedateerd met oude doorgezakte banken, spinrag, slechte matrassen, weinig daglicht, geen gezellige gezamenlijke ruimte (woonkamer/eetkamer). Heel vriendelijke eigenaren die tevens naastgelegen restaurant XXX XXX runnen met lekkere pasta en pizza's.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, etwas Fahrzeit bis zum Ort.

Unterkunft und Vermieterin sind perfekt, Ausflüge dauern durch die 20 Minuten Fahrt bis nach Pescia etwas länger. Wir hatten nichts zu bemängeln.

Quaint stay in the country

This place is pretty awesome. Now I have to point out this is a working family farm and there are some farm interactions because of that. I guess you either love it or hate it because of that. We loved it. Elisa is a great host and will meet all of your needs. Pool is nice and the showers are amazing! Furniture was comfy and the beds were nice. For us it actually became more relaxing as we drove up to the house each day. There are two very good restaurants within a mile of the home. Pescia is close enough to meet any need you may have (gelato, duh!) It's a very casual low key place. If you are looking for "luxury" you should probably stay in one of the bigger cities. If you want to experience the local life stay here. It is quiet, amazing views, it is "Tuscany".

Très agréable séjour dans une location à recommander

Agriturismo au calme, dans les montagnes au nord de Pescia. Petit havre de paix autour de cette jolie ferme. Agréable séjour : la maison est grande, confortable et bien équipée. Accueil charmant de notre hôte, xxx, qui nous a offert du miel et de la confiture maison. Piscine privée dans un petit jardin clos, très agréable.

Na prawdę bardzo miło spędziliśmy czas. Okolica przepiękna, restauracja poniżej domu fantastyczna. Można spróbować lokalnej kuchni, świetna atmosfera. Dom bardzo ładnie odnowiony, zachowujący klimat Toskanii. Basen czysty, przynoszący wytchnienie w upalne dni. Właściciele domu to przemili ludzie, zawsze uśmiechnięci i pomocni.

Exquisite Villa for a Group!

Gorgeous property! Quiet and peaceful, up on the side of a hill. Very clean and spacious inside and out. The manager lives on site but is not intrusive at all, very friendly and helpful. Only downfall (and it is minor) was the poor internet. We weren't able to plan day trips very well without it. Highly recommend this property for a group of 6 people!
