We arrived at the cabins and was overly impressed. The decorations, the interior design in the history behind the cabins was awesome. We will definitely stay there again if we travel to Arizona. Would recommend this place to anybody.
This cottage was perfect for staying in the area of Williams and the Grand Canyon. It was cute, spotless, and had many conveniences. Would have liked a mini washer and dryer, but otherwise perfect!
Inn History is the perfect place to stay for your trip to the Grand Canyon. Our cabin was comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated with photographs and artifacts that reflect the history of the area and the Grand Canyon. We enjoyed scanning the QR codes around the cabin to learn about the Canyon at our own leisure. We enjoyed the numerous books provided, as well. This place is a gem. Thanks for a great stay!
The property is beautiful and as advertised. My only problem was not able to take a hot shower. We didn't shower the first night to help them conserve water because of a sign on property asking for conservation of water of where we could. I am very familiar with using facilities with a tankless hot water heater as this one had for I have them in my home. I ran the water for at least 10 to 15 min trying to get it hot but to the best I could get was lukewarm. Interesting the kitchen sink put out very hot water within a few minutes. This made no sense to me for they should be on the same system. Regardless, this would be my only complaint. We loved the place otherwise.
This was the perfect size for my husband and I. We really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, well stocked, and conveniently located to shops/food and the Grand Canyon. An added bonus was the Christmas lights in downtown Williams. In addition, an information binder is provided that has all the information you need with superior recommendations.
So the cabins are about 45 minutes away from GCNP but it seems like an easy drive. The cabin was very nice with a comfy bed, powerful AC units, and well connected with WiFi and DirectTV. The decor is Grand Canyon themed, and even includes barcodes that link to a website that gives further info about the park history displayed in the decor. (My favorite was the cable car light over the kitchen table.) I did 2 exhausting day hikes into the canyon and it was very nice to come back and relax in a clean, modern, and comfortable little cabin. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to GCNP.
This property was above and beyond our expectations! It is absolutely gorgeous with such fine detail to the decor. Every item had significance to the history of the area. My favorite was probably the light over the kitchen table that was a replica to the trolley that went across the river. It is filled with other replicas, photos and books that reveal the history of the Grand Canyon. Very clean and comfortable! Great location; only 30 minutes from Grand Canyon and convenient to Williams, AZ and Sedona as well. Jeff is a superb host; always prompt to answer any questions. Check in was super easy!
Love, love, love this place and would highly recommend it to anyone. Stephanie and Duane Harward, Sept 2022
My husband and I love staying here to beat the summer heat in the valley and golfing at Elephant Rocks. It’s very clean, comfortable and we love that it is seclusive but close to so many activities.
The property was perfect! Close enough to Williams and the Grand Canyon, but still out in the desert, and away from town. It was so cute and educational at the same time. We learned so much just being in the house. The owner is obviously very knowledgeable and was available with any questions we had!
The property was exactly as advertised, very clean, and it was comfortable for us - we had two adults and one 13-year-old. Although the space was on the small side, the beautiful furnishings and design details made it feel more luxurious. We loved the historical elements integrated throughout the cabin - we had our son scan the QR codes for each item like a scavenger hunt and read the history about the Grand Canyon area to us. The location was ideal for visiting the Grand Canyon and Sedona. My only tiny critique would be that the bed was a little too firm for me (really more an issue of preference) and the pull-out sofa bed was on the short side for my rather tall for his age 13-year old (5'6"), so he had to sleep at an angle....just something to keep in mind if adult guests plan to use the sofa bed. Thanks for a great stay!
My wife and I stayed in cabin 4 at Inn History during our Grand Canyon vacation. Jeff has created a top-notch property, what I’d call “clean rustic,” both comfortable and well located. Williams turned out to be a pleasant surprise, with great restaurants for such a small town. I highly recommend Inn History for a couple’s getaway, or with one or two kids. Thanks, Jeff!
I loved the charm and decor. The attention to detail and the corresponding history was fantastic. A 50 minute ride to the Grand Canyon was very doable!
This was an awesome property. They did a great job at designing the cabin. The owner definitely put a lot of time into creating these cabins. Jeff was very easy to communicate with and I would definitely book another stay at one of his cabins if I am ever back in the Arizona area. My only complaint was there was a lot of construction outside of the cabin. They were adding additional cabins on the property. Jeff was extremely kind and bought us a mug and some snacks due to the inconvenience. I would recommend staying at these cabins if you are taking a trip to the Grand Canyon. It was the perfect little place to stay.
We wanted to stay here to be close enough to the Grand Canyon to spend a day and also close enough to a town (Williams) to have selections to eat and other things to do. This Property was PERFECT! It was very clean, well appointed and fit our criteria exactly. We loved this little property and it's owner was extremely accommodating. Listing was perfectly accurate.
We appreciated the historical art and QR code links along with the many books and resources to learn about the history of the Grand Canyon. Thank you for the thoughtful planning that went into making this a fun place to visit.
We planned our visit to the Grand Canyon and surrounding area and were lucky enough to book this charming cabin. It was the perfect location for us and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is very convenient to the GC and located just outside of Williams, so we were close enough to visit but enjoyed the peace and quiet the cabin afforded us.
This was the perfect little cabin for our weekend gateway. The cabin itself was exactly what we needed, spacious enough for my family of 3. We were only 45 minutes away from the south rim of the Grand Canyon and 12 minutes from Williams. We will definitely be back!
Had a wonderful stay at this clean, modern, and very quiet little cabin. Perfect for my friend and I. Went to Grand Canyon two days just an awesome location and place !!!! Thanks
