About this property

Large Avalon Home, One Block to Beach

Wonderful, five-bedroom home only a short block to the beach, within walking distance to 'Downtown Avalon'. It is a comfortable, well-appointed, shore house - great for a family or two, looking to get away from it all!

There is central air, two decks, and a huge family room with a TV. Six beach tags included. It is walking distance to the boardwalk, shopping, restaurants, ice cream, Avalon Coffee and the Avalon Supermarket.

The second floor has the kitchen, dining area, as well as a bright and sunny living room with two sliding doors that look out over the deck. This large wraparound deck has a great view of First Avenue, deck furniture and two tables for great outdoor dining. There are two bedrooms on this floor, both with full size beds. There are two full baths on this floor as well, one with private access from the master bedroom.

The first floor has three bedrooms, each sleeping 3 people along with another full bath. There is also a huge family room on this level with a couches and TV. The washer and dryer are on this floor and there is also a great outdoor shower.

Avalon has a ton of things to do during your vacation. There are tennis courts, basketball courts, playgrounds, the beach, the boardwalk, shopping, restaurants, bars, fishing, all in the clean, family friendly town of Avalon. Avalon truly has something for everyone!

If you want to travel a little, you are only a half hour away from the Casinos of Atlantic City or the Historic Sights in Cape May.

Check in was as easy as it could be, and the house was clean and ready to go when we got there. The location can’t be beat for easy, walkable access to the park, beach and restaurants and shops. The kitchen was great for preparing meals for our group of 13. Essentials were provided and there was even some baby stuff (gates/ high chair).

Family vacation

We had a lovely family vacation in Avalon . The owners were very accessible and the house had everything we needed . Avalon’s beaches are beautiful and it’s a quick ride to Cape May or Wildwood on a cool Cloudy day .

Fantastic Family Week

We have rented in Avalon almost every summer for the last 15 years. The house this year was one of the best. With six adults, four teens and two pre-teens we needed lots of room and proximity to the town and beach. This house had everything we wanted. It was comfortable and gave us room to be together indoors and out on the deck. We all agreed it was the perfect place for a fantastic family vacation!

Great location

Being only a block to beach and 2 blocks to Main street with resto’s and stores was great. Kids could bike/walk everywhere. Owner was very responsive and accommodating. House has great layout with bedrooms in upper floor and bright and cheerful main living area/kitchen and bedrms for kids and separate living space for them on lower level. (Lower level can get a little musty and damp from humidity so i suggest a dehumidifier on lower level). Great deck with afternoon shade .

It was perfect!

The house was wonderful. Plenty of room for all inside and out. The kitchen was very well equipped. Lots of beach chairs and bikes available. We all had a wonderful time. We stayed in this house in the 90's and were able to make some new memories. Fun times.

Perfect house, location, setup, owners

The pictures on here don't do this place justice - it was fabulous. It's location (one block from beach) is ideal, the rooms are all nicely planned and the common space is perfect for a family or group. Bathrooms were plenty spacious and all nicely done. The patios are incredible. When we were there, it had surf boards to use! Additionally, the owners were very responsive and kind.
