Bring your family and friends for a wonderful escape to one of the best kept secrets in the Florida Panhandle. Cape San Blas offers a taste of “Old Florida”: quiet dog friendly beaches, a bay abundant with sea life and plenty of southern hospitality. You will find fresh gulf shrimp and seafood just down the street. Visit one of our local restaurants or stay in all week and never leave the beach… it’s up to you!

Dolphin Lookout boasts an expansive gulf front view, private, heated (for a fee) pool, hot tub, tons of deck space and many other premium amenities. The extensive list of features on this home pushes it into the category of a “private resort”. Your well-behaved furry friends are welcome!

*The ground level offers plenty of parking, covered carport, propane grill, fenced pool area, back yard lawn and private boardwalk to the beach.
*The second level includes the kitchen, dining area, living room, a queen bedroom, bunk room, full bath. The large, screened deck offers plenty of seating with a large gathering space.

*The third level hosts the gulf side master king suite which includes a large executive office space for those that must work while on vacation! The master bathroom includes a real steam shower sauna and custom air bubble bath with “chromatherapy” light. Also on this level is a king bedroom suite, laundry area and a reading nook.

*VayK gear is also included with this home. We offer a $250 credit (included in the rental price) that guests can use toward beach gear from one of our partners. This rental is limited to a maximum of 14 days.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful home!pros- Loved the pool, hot tub and screened in porches. Kitchen is well stocked and house was clean and beds were overall comfortable. Cons- construction 3 homes down (so noisy a few mornings),you are beach front but it's not a private beach and you are right down from a public entrance (so may have trucks drive in and set up right in front of you). Not a big deal- just didn't expect it. Grill needs maintenance and pool needs a deep clean.Great week! Would definitely rent again.

Such a great beachfront house! The master suite on the top level was spacious and the deck hot tub access made it even better! This was our first trip to Cape San Blas and we were so impressed with the peacefulness of the area, the water color on the north side beaches, and the cute downtown Port St. Joe! Our pups felt right at home and loved walks on the beach. Would highly recommend this beach house and area!!

A Beautiful Quiet Place!

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at this VRBO Property. The house was very clean and had everything we needed plus more! We made use of the pool several days and the Hot Tub and top floor views in the evening! Went to Port St. Joe for items we needed! Our dog loved it too!

A GRAND vacation

The house was exactly as listed! Perfect for me, my husband our daughters/spouse and our 4 GRANDS!! We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and the private pool!! The kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed. We rented bikes and road to the playground and the nature trail!! It was a GRAND trip!!!

This house was perfect for a family vacation! So close to the beach. The private boardwalk was wonderful, especially when you have kids and use wagons to carry beach gear. Kitchen was the best stocked of any VRBO. The private pool was a Plus+++ plenty of restaurants within 10-15 minute drive.

GREAT LOCATION FOR FUN IN THE SUN

Excellent location, well maintained property with lots of amenities just steps to the beach. Enjoyed the pool, hot tub, chef’s kitchen and master en-suite. Property management company was great to work with and very professional! I would definitely rent this property again!

Wonderful week at the beach

We had a wonderful time with family at Dolphin Lookout! The location is amazing...quiet and beautiful. The home has everything you need to be very comfortable, even while making Thanksgiving dinner in someone else's kitchen. Being able to see the sunrise and sunset from the deck was incredible! We had the best week at Dolphin Lookout! The house was stocked with everything we could possibly need during our week stay. We loved the pool and two beach front decks. My husband was extremely happy with the grill and its location by the pool and a beach view. So glad we were able to include our two dogs on our vacation also.

We have never stayed in the Port St Joe area and will absolutely be back. We came during spring break week and the beach is never crowded...just small groups of those staying at the houses nearby. So grateful I was able to bring my two Frenchies with us. They loved the dog friendly beach. Our teenagers even had fun which is high praise.

My husband and I and our 2 pups thoroughly enjoyed our stay celebrating our 27th wedding anniversary. Everything was perfect, from the fresh flowers when we arrived, to the gorgeous kitchen, upstairs master bath, and all the decor throughout. The heated pool was fantastic!
