Wonderful Hospitality

Our stay was nothing short of amazing. We booked this trip / stay in January for a September stay, as we were in town for a wedding. Jane the property owner was great and had communicated well during the booking process, checking in and checking out. House is clean and very accommodating. I would recommend if you need a place to stay, this would be it!

Wonderful Getaway

We stayed at this property for a quick weekday getaway, which was perfect. The house was clean, modern, and pet-friendly. We had all the accommodations we needed, such as a beautiful, open kitchen to cook in, a fenced-in backyard for our puppers, and three very roomy and comfortable bedrooms. The location was great, too. We were approximately 15-30 minutes away from many beaches and boardwalks we wanted to visit.

Lovely stay

Our stay at Jane’s home for my daughter’s wedding in Spring Lake was fabulous. The location was excellent and 5-15 min from beaches, restaurants, shopping, groceries, and all we needed to do. The house was well stocked and well kept. The beds were comfortable and the house was as pictured. The AC worked well. Off-street parking was available for our three cars. 2.5 baths was perfect for 6 adults. Jane was able to be flexible on our checkout time. The downstairs open floor plan met all of our needs for the wedding weekend. I would highly recommend this property and would stay here again if in the area. Thank you, Jane, for a wonderful time in your special property

Relax in hammock all day!

We had such a great stay! The house is extremely clean. Jane was extremely responsive. I loved the way she had instructions (how to use the tv, kitchen utensils). So many times, we've been at homes where we didn't know how to use their electronics! The only thing missing was a grill. However, we made up for it with lots of hammock time. I also liked the fact that the house was devoid of perfumes. Jane is extremely generous. She provided canned beverages and her time recommending insider-tips on Asbury Park.

Beautiful home, Welcoming Host…not a welcoming neighborhood.

House is beautiful and exactly as listed. Jane was easy to communicate with and is a great host. The location of the home and area was not what we were expecting from the listing and the price of the rental for the weekend. If we hadn’t been traveling with husbands would not have felt safe to stay there alone. Home behind the deck area has many broken windows and a shower curtain up across one. Had to move one of the cars and park at a local mall because of some kids who were taking interest in it. The local uber driver who picked us up to go to Sea Hear Now said “I didn’t think they let people rent their homes in this area.” To be clear: It’s a beautiful home inside. Would just urge people to explore the directly adjacent streets so they can make an informed decision based on who they are traveling with and the reason for their stay. Have been renting on VRBO for decades and this one threw me for a loop.

Immaculate place; short drive to beach and downtown

Jane was very responsive and addressed any question we had. Place was beyond clean and very comfortable. 10 min drive to downtown Asbury park and beaches. The only other feedback is the neighborhood was not what we thought. We either stayed in Jane's place or drove everywhere.

Happy we booked it

This house has everything you would want. It is recently updated and you can tell the owners take great pride in it. The downstairs is all open with a wonderful kitchen and great room, and a half bath. The 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are upstairs. Super comfy but be ready to climb some stairs. They weren’t an issue with us but it might if you have physical limitations. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe. It is a bit in a transition and I would recommend having a car. It will definitely become even better with time. Jane was a pleasure to deal with. Thank you for hosting us!

Lovely family getaway!

We had a lovely visit to the Jersey Shore staying at Jane’s home. She was very accommodating, and easy to get in touch with. The beach was easily accessible and not too crowded! We hope to come back soon!
