About Lindsey Warren
This property is owned by three brothers (and their families) and was originally built by their parents in 1949. It has been renovated since then and remains a great family getaway.
Lindsey Warren purchased this House in 1949
Why Lindsey Warren chose Marshall County
We have been 'coming to the lake' all of our lives and love the natural beauty of the area.
What makes this House unique
Our favorite things to do are fishing and relaxing. If you want to rent a boat, Guntersville State Park is a 25 minute drive away (left side under activities is boat rentals) We have recently completed updated and expanded the back deck for an even better experience as well as replaced the stairs and dock!
Sports & Adventure Activities
This lake house was Awesome and I highly recommend staying here! It has plenty of room and a beautiful backyard with a large dock for fishing or boating on the lake. The grounds and house were very clean and the house has everything that you would need. There was a great local restaurant/cafe less than a 2 minute drive from the house and Walmart was an easy 20 minutes drive from the house. If you are looking for a great family get away this house is the perfect one to rent and the owner was super nice and easy to work with :)
Sweet Home Away from Home in Alabama
Our stay here was everything I hoped it would be- beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. We traveled down for a week with two small children for a bass tournament and the little luxuries away from home like a kitchen, comfortable beds, climate control, and even the washer/dryer were so nice to have. The views and outside space (deck, hammock, fire pit, shore line) are amazing, and the locals were so welcoming in the area. This home is a treasure and I am so thankful we chose to stay here rather than in a hotel, it definitely made our trip into a great memory!
Birthday trip with family!
We enjoyed the lake house so much! Thank you for sharing it with us!
We are so glad you had a wonderful stay and hope you got some great rest and relaxation in our home! We’d love to have you back again!
Fantastic Fall Visit
Thank you! We had a great Thanksgiving here. Cozy, cozy house. Just what we needed! We hiked at state park, fished off dock for fun, made s'mores in fire pit, and shared stunning sunsets. My family can't wait to return again. The house fit our needs perfectly. I made our Thanksgivimg dinner the day before we came since I saw that the house doesn't have large oven - which meant that I had the day off too! It was wonderful. We enjoyed the pictures on wall showing the history of house. I only we wished we could have stayed longer!
Wonderful cabin, fantastic view
Cabin is great inside and out. Great deck, great view of the lake. It was perfect for our guys trip to Guntersville for some fishing! Only negative thing I will say is, it is not easy to back/maneuver boat trailer in and out of the drive way.
Perfect cabin that is a perfect place to relax and unwind with family or friends
We rented this lake home last minute while leaving South Florida in anticipation of Hurricane Irma. The house is perfectly stocked with everything you'd need. The layout of the home is great and everyone can have their own space . The lake views from the living rooms and dining area are gorgeous. We spent our days sitting on the deck enjoying the lake views while our kids explored the water. At night we would enjoy the fire pit. The home is furnished and decorated very well and you feel at home right away. For a stressful get away, we sure did enjoy our stay and were able to relax and spend time together to create a special family memory. Thanks
S. Sauty's new boat launch is 2 miles away (by land and water) making your boat launch easy and fast (you can dock your boat on our dock after you've launched it). Guntersville State Park rents boats also and is 25 minutes awy. There's also shopping nearby: the Factory Outlets in Boaz or the famous Unclaimed Baggage Center in Scottsboro. Our home is also near 2 more great state parks: Bucks Pocket (great eagle watching) & Cathedral Caverns.
