The Rockhouse Cabin sits nestled among majestic views of the surrounding rock formations and wilderness of beautiful Hocking Hills. The cottage and encompassing beauty offers peace and quiet for a perfect getaway.
This 4-bedroom cottage comfortably sleeps 10 guests and sits on an acre of land just minutes from Lake Logan and Hocking Hills State Park. The house is bordered by natural rock formations just like you would see at Old Man’s Cave.
Three bedrooms feature a single queen-sized bed, while the fourth and largest bedroom contains two queen-sized beds. Guests will enjoy two full bathrooms with included towels. (Please bring your own toiletries.) One bathroom contains an oversized shower and the other boasts a shower/tub combo with decorative porcelain tile and travertine surround.
The common spaces are tastefully decorated and furnished with large leather furniture and a dining table for 6. Cook up gourmet meals in the full kitchen (refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher), pots and pans, utensils, and dishes. Get your morning started with the traditional coffee maker or bring pods for the Keurig mini.
Cozy up to the electric fireplace in winter or relax in the air conditioning while surfing the web with the whole house WiFi. Enjoy morning coffee on the sunny, spacious deck, relax in the 6-person hot tub, prepare a delicious meal on the grill, and sit by a cozy wood fire in the evening with a sky full of stars at night. Watch Netflix or DVDs on the 55” flat screen. Entertainment is plentiful with the thoughtful amenities in this Hocking Hills vacation home.

The house was in a nice location and comfortable. We did have a mouse issue in the house while there so that was not a welcome surprise with a small child there. Otherwise it was a nice weekend stay.

We’re glad you enjoyed the location, found the home comfortable, and had an otherwise nice weekend stay. We’re sorry about the unexpected encounter with a mouse. While a single mouse can occasionally find its way into a home—especially in a rural, wooded area. As soon as we were made aware, we took steps to inspect the property and reinforce our preventative measures.

Everything was so nice. Unfortunately we had rain so we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the yard but the inside was great. It was nice to have 4 bedrooms with 5 beds for our group. Everything was clean. Only issue was the VRBO code but once we got a hold of the host and got the correct code no issues.

Host is very responsive. The cabin was nice, clean, and had everything we needed for a weekend stay. Bedding was comfortable and the loctaion is very convenient to get to all the attractions in the area. Would love to stay here again in the future.

This cabin was in the perfect spot - pretty quiet at night and a quick drive to the Hocking Hills trails during the day. It’s nicely appointed with all that you need.The hot tub was available for a soak after a long day on the trails. Good WiFi - parking was a bit tight for 3 full size trucks but we made it work.Keri was readily available when I had to call on the door code which didn’t work at first but she quickly reset so we could enter.It was clean and boy did the air conditioner work!! The beds are firm but were just fine for a good nights sleep.

Shops and hiking nearby. Check out time of 10 is extremely early I feel. Didn't see the washer and dryer. I think it was behind a locked door in the kitchen. If we would have needed it, I could have asked the property manager and she would have communicated promptly as she did with questions before the trip. Great kitchen with helpful ammenties. Great stay. Wonderful firepit and hottub.

Hocking Hills vacation

My family and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. We wanted to hike in the Hocking Hills State Park. This cute home was perfectly located within a short drive to the park and to small towns with shopping and great restaurants.
