Hands down one of the best properties that we have ever stayed! I highly recommend.
Great house, thoughtfully appointed, and right on the water!
Richard and Brenda's house in Cambridge was a great Eastern Shore find. The house had everything we needed, including top-notch kitchen, a washer/dryer, and a wonderful patio looking out at a branch of the Choptank river. We (two couples) used the house as a home base for the Seagull Century in Salisbury and were very happy to come back, cook, and relax when the event was done. Check-in and check-out were seamless and easy. Highly recommended!
A comfortable, beautiful retreat
The nicest vacation rental we've ever had! Richard and Brenda have created a vacation retreat that is lovely without being fussy or overdecorated. The kitchen is particularly splendid! We also loved the glassed-in screen porch and spent most of our time out there - when it was cool, we opened the patio doors to catch the breezes.
The Brown's home is lovely, comfortable and well furnished. We ate in most of the time we were there and found the kitchen to be more than adequately supplied with anything we could have needed. The home was very clean and is in a tranquil location. We spent our first evening in the 3 season room with all the doors open, listening to a thunderstorm, while enjoying a bottle of wine with our sweet doggy by our sides. The Browns made their bikes and kayaks available to us, which was SO kind. We enjoyed a great bike ride to the lighthouse on a beautiful, sunny morning. If you're looking for a peaceful, relaxing, comfortable place to get away, this is the place for you!!
Beautiful home away from home!
My husband and I loved staying at Heron's View for out honeymoon! The house was perfect! I t was clean, beautifully maintained, and furnished with everything we needed! Cambridge was a wonderful retreat after a hectic wedding. Rich gave us some good restaurant recommendations too! We plan on coming back soon!
A great place to stay!
This house was definitely 5 stars. It is very clean, up-to-date and well cared for. You can believe everything that they say in the description. It has everything you need from spices and pots and pans to dish and laundry detergent. We came in to watch our son participate in the Ironman triathelon. We went to the grocery store and made all our own meals and just relaxed for a few days after, watching the bunnies nibbling the clover and the duck family swimming in the canal, while sitting in the glassed-in summer room. Quiet country living, but less than 10 minutes from grocery store, restaurants, great seafood store, etc. Would recommend this property highly.
Other Activities: Boating, kayaking, birding, Running Festivals.
