Well-maintained 12-bedroom house with 10 full baths, and 2 half baths.

The house is two side-by-side units with identical floor plans. Each unit can also be rented separately; just search for 6-bedroom options to find the listing for renting that way.

Each unit includes three floors of living space with decks on all three levels. The kitchens are spacious with ample countertops that seat 6. The dining room has a large round table that seats another 7. Ten of the bedrooms either have their own private balconies with ocean views or open to a shared deck that overlooks the ocean.

The first floor has 4 queen bedrooms, 2 bedrooms with twin trundle beds, and 2 bunk rooms with 4 beds (2 doubles and 2 twins) in each. Each unit’s second floor has an open floor plan for living / dining / kitchen, a half bath, and a king master suite with a private balcony. The top floor has penthouse suites on each side (king size beds) with private decks facing the ocean. Eight of the twelve bedrooms have private full baths. Two bedrooms on each side (the trundle and bunk rooms) share full baths. Gas grills are on the deck off of each kitchen. Each unit has a gas fireplace. Living room has new 48” flat screen TV and DVD player. Dumbwaiter brings luggage and groceries to first and second levels.

Free WiFi throughout. Outdoor showers on each side. Garage holds 8 cars. Room for 4 additional cars on driveway. 392 & 394 New River Inlet Road.

This house has been earning rave reviews for several years.

Note that some of the exterior photos are older and do not show a house recently built on the lot to the north. That new house is set back, so the views remain unobstructed.

My communications policy: I will email you the door access code and instructions for using it three days before your rental begins. I will respond promptly (usually within the hour) during your stay to address any questions, including problems with amenities, safety concerns, and other concerns about your stay. You will also receive a document after you book with detailed information about your stay.

Contact me for event fees such as hosting a wedding. I also make occasional exceptions to allow well-behaved pets for an added cleaning fee. Ask me for more information.

A wonderful place to reconnect

We’re a big family from all over the place, and this house was the perfect location to get everyone back together. Tons of bathrooms and bedrooms for a large group, and very large living spaces where we could all congregate. The deck and beach access are really accommodating, and the beachfront there at the property is pristine.

Corporate Retreat

A wonderful home for an employee retreat. Lots of space to spread out in a beautiful home and beautiful beach. The owner was super communicative and ensured we had everything we needed or wanted.

Great place for family gatherings!

Our extended family of 21 people had a wonderful time at your property on Topsail Beach. The views from the balconies are beautiful! We were privileged to see a whale with her calf one morning and getting up on the 2nd floor balcony gave us a much clearer view! Great place and great times!!

Christmas gathering

We had a great stay in the entire house. We had 23 people aged 1-77, and the property was great for everyone. The host gave very good instructions and was very responsive. Would highly recommend to big families.

Beautiful property and location

The house was beautiful and perfect!! The views are amazing. Many rentals are lacking in kitchen equipment, this one was so well stocked!! Owner answered all questions and responded quickly. We hope to visit there again the future.

Birthday weekend

The size of the house and location was perfect! I had10-12 guys down at the beach to help celebrate my birthday and had a great weekend. Views of the beach from the kitchen area and back deck were awesome. Owner was great to work with and would definitely recommend this property for birthdays or family get togethers.

Annual Family Vacation

We had a great time here on our annual family vacation with extended family members ranging in age from 10 months to 93 years. Great location and a nice wide beach, plenty of room for all of our beach games! We do a lot of cooking and the kitchens were well stocked with everything we needed. Property owner David was very responsive to questions and needs. We would stay here again!

Moms Retreat

Great Place For a Small Womens Retreat

I brought 20 women to enjoy a relaxing retreat and everyone was thoroughly impressed. There were a lot of stairs but the dumbwaiter was super helpful for moving things from each floor to another. The views are incredible and everything was beautiful.

The most gorgeous view to wake up to!

We rented this house to celebrate the NYE, it was the best idea ever! Kids played at the beach all day! The weather was great and we were lucky! The house is perfect! The owner is wonderful! We also asked for a late check out with an extra fee, that was an ideal decision- we couldn't get enough! The view was fantastic! The kitchen is well-equipped! Everything was just amazing! Spectacular

What a wonderful vacation.Can not say enough about how great this rental is. We have rented many places and have never had such a well stocked kitchen for all of your cooking needs. We loved sitting on the deck in the high top chairs and relaxing watching the waves. North Topsail Island is a wonderful place to visit and this rental will not disappoint. The owner is very helpful if you have any questions or concerns. There were 14 of us for a cousin reunion and this home had everything we needed for a beautiful vacation and wehope to return in the future.

Perfect for large families

Beautiful home in a good location. The home was very well appointed with everything we needed and more. Communication with the owner went above any other rental we’ve had. Comfortable set up for a large group of friends. The pass thru to the other side was very convenient - the beach chairs on the decks were all fairly new and very comfortable . Lots of extra chairs for the beach and games for the kids. The dumbwaiter made it easy to bring our things inside- there are a lot of steps so take advantage of it! All in all one of the best homes our large group has rented at the beach. Thank you for our stay we all enjoyed it !

Great for our event

I hosted a singles retreat at this location!! We were able to house the guys in one side of the house and the women in the other!! We had enough space to host meetings, play games, and just enjoy ourselves without being on top of each other. David, the owner was very kind, respectful, and just all-around great as a host! Oh, and let's not forget the sunrise and sunset view from the house!!! I truly hope to be able to host our singles retreat in this house again next year!! If you do rent out this house, don't forget to sign the guest book! I highly recommend this house if you have a large party and you want a gorgeous place to stay!

Mad Hatter Tea Party

Please remember to shut doors and windows otherwise you walk into a house with flies and water bugs. Had to kill a lot of them and buy fly trap before my guest arrived on Friday. No fault of the owner, guest should be cautious of there actions. Otherwise the house was wonderful, very accomodating and had everything we needed to have a wonderful time. Thank you for allowing me to use your home for my celebration.

Thanks for being so understanding, Ariel. As we discussed, the cleaners tried to fix the problem when they were there. And we have good electronic fly traps (Zeevo brand) in place that attract flies to ultraviolet light.

Honest Review

Hello David, Thank you for allowing us to rent your home. The space was definitely a plus. However, we did encounter some issues that we want you to be aware of…… 1. The mold (possibly a leak in the ceiling in 392) 2. The beds in all the rooms were a little shaky especially the bump beds. 3. The kitchen on both sides had dirty utensils, both coffee makers were dirty and the stoves. Some of the bathroom shower curtains were dirty as well. 4. Only the living room TVs worked properly. 5. The house(both sides) smelled really old. 6. The bar stools were shaky ! We could barely sit on them because we thought they would collapse. 7. The first room on the first floor in 392, had some electrical issues. One of the ladies plugged up their charger on the left side and the outlets went out on that side. We tried to make the best of it though and like I said before we appreciate you for allowing us to use your home. We did enjoy ourselves but want you to be aware of these issues for future guest ! I’m glad you enjoyed your stay, Felicia, despite a few issues. I want to let others know my response to those issues. During your stay we discussed the mold, which has limited to a small strip of drywall along the edge of a single bathroom ceiling vent, and we agreed to have it treated during your stay. Then after you left I had my contractor repair that spot of drywall to eliminate the problem. I’ve checked the beds throughout the house. A few (certainly not all) needed tightening of the frames. I’m surprised about the coffee maker and stove comments. I was at the house immediately before your stay and they were clean on both sides. I have the house cleaners replace the shower curtain liners frequently. The TVs all work, but as I explained during your stay a previous renter probably changed the cable configuration on the one TV you asked me about. Nobody has ever mentioned the house having an “old” smell or complained that the bar stools are too shaky to sit on, so I’m not sure what to say there. My contractor fixed the broken outlet that your friend had a problem with. As always, I truly value guest feedback and will continue to fix any problems that occur so that the next renter has the most enjoyable stay possible.

Great wedding experience

We used the house as a vacation spot but my wife and I also got married right outside the house on the beach. Couldn’t have asked for a better set up and location, house was amazing.

Wedding venue and week stay

This house was absolutely amazing, and everything we wanted and more. My now husband and friends stayed at the property for my intimate wedding, and the rest of the week on the beach. We had the best time on the pretty private beach, and the house was absolutely gorgeous. Our hardest decision was which side of the house to stay on, as we rented both! We wish we had another week to stay. We enjoyed everything the house had to offer and more! Great communication with owner and a perfect stay! And definitely get a workout in with all the stairs in this beautiful mansion!!

Beautiful Beach-Quiet Area

We had a wonderful stay. The house was well equipped and the beach beautiful. My only caution is that if you have elderly or otherwise less mobile family members, the number of steps might cause some difficulty. Great Stay...Great Place!

My husband and I live away from family and wanted to have a wedding where we could have a vacation with them as well. This home was perfect! David was super helpful. The family loved the home and the location. They even got to see dolphins from the kitchen two days in a row! We were able to share our love for Carolina beaches with everyone.

Perfect Venue

We rented this house for our family to stay and to host our wedding. It was a great venue for a one-stop event. We had our rehearsal, wedding and reception at the house. Everyone was able to stay together. One nice touch, unlike other houses, beach towels and linens were provided. The Owners were very nice and easy to deal with. We had a great week in the house.

We LOVED this beach house! It was perfect for our intimate beach wedding!

I bought this house in June 2021 after my girlfriend, Kim, introduced me to Topsail Island. With my third visit to this beautiful area I was hooked on the idea of buying a place I could rent out and enjoy for ourselves with our grown children. The previous owners were great to work with on making the transition. I've kept a lot of their ideas in place, including free linens and a number of helpful amenities. I'm enjoying this new adventure and pride myself on being responsive to my renters.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

I was originally looking for a single family house when this one became available. I like the idea of being able to rent out the whole house (12 bedrooms) or rent half and be able to stay on the other side. The layout is great for renting half the house or the entire house. The balconies and decks were well designed for allowing great ocean views from all over the house.
