Retired Firefighter owned and managed. Beautiful home on the 18th hole of the award winning Raven Golf Course just steps from the subdivision pool, hot tub, and updated fitness room! 2 Newer 6 seater golf carts, which having a golf cart to get around plays a significant role in your vacation experience and ability to easily get around and enjoy everything Sandestin has to offer! You can park 2 cars in the driveway! Which sounds silly, but if you are familiar with Sandestin and Laurel Grove, this is a Huge Plus! We Truly supply everything you need for your beach vacation! 8 Plus beach chairs and beach towels, coolers, ice packs, wagon for the beach, beach toys, 5 adult and 2 kids beach cruiser bikes, corn hole and much more! If you want to know if we have something that you are not sure of, just ask!

Walk on the Ocean, is a Beautiful Beach themed cottage style 3 bedroom 3 full bath house in the sought after Laurel Grove neighborhood in Sandestin Resort. With a picturesque view of the 18th hole of the Raven golf course and sitting on a small lake just outside our backdoor perfect for fishing.  Our home is in a quiet cul-de-sac and is just a short golf cart ride to the Beach along with the shops, dinning, and entertainment at the Village of Baytowne Wharf and Grand Boulevard. 

You can get a firsthand tour of our Beautiful resort spread out over 2,000 acres that our family fell in love with by enjoying a ride with your family on one of our bikes along the sidewalks that are throughout the resort, and leading to the Beach. If you are in the mood there is an on-site miniature golf course and two other community pools along with our subdivision pool and hot tub! Sandestin has a private tunnel for golf carts, bikes, and pedestrians that goes under Hwy 98 (4 lane hwy on way to beach) so you never have to worry about crossing any major roads on your way to the beach.

Our Beautifully decorated Beach themed cottage is waiting for you and your family to arrive and enjoy your time together. A fully stocked kitchen provides everything you'll need to eat at home and the outside grill allows for some Great bar-b-que! The family room offers a new sleeper sofa and 2 chairs broke in just right to relax and enjoy the tube or family time. The 1st floor master bedroom and bath offers a king-sized bed and TV and the bathroom offers a shower and oversized tub. The master also offers the picturesque view of the lake and 18th of the Raven and has a door leading to the back porch to enjoy this view firsthand. The 2nd bedroom on the 1st floor offers a 2nd king-sized bed and TV and utilizes the 1st floor hallway bathroom and shower. The 2nd floor loft and bathroom offers 2 full beds, twin bunkbeds with a trundle along with a TV and a bathtub/shower combo.

We are so Excited to share our home Walk on the Ocean and have no doubt you will find our home and amenities the perfect fit for an Awesome Beach vacation!

**Parking allows for 2 cars on the driveway. There are 2 small overflow parking lots a short walk by the pool/clubhouse in our subdivision as well on a first come first serve basis.

Family Beach Vacation

We loved our time spent in this vacation home! It had everything we needed for our family. The two golf carts were especially nice. The owner was so helpful and easy to communicate with. We loved the neighborhood and will definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay at Walk on the beach. Great house, great location, and the owner has provided so many of the things we normally bring. We were able to travel with a much lighter load. I hope to stay again very soon!

Great location and house

The house was in great shape, clean, and had all you needed in the kitchen if you wanted to cook. The two golf carts come in handy when someone in your party wants to shop while the other is beach bound.

Just as advertised!

Everything was clean, the description is very accurate, the owners are very friendly and helpful, and everything you need is just a golf cart drive away. We will be staying there again and highly recommend the house.

Great Place to Stay!

Chris and Angie have a great place to stay in the Sandestin Resort area. We have rented multiple houses over the years in the community and their place is our favorite. Everything is as described in the listing. The little things make a big difference which we appreciate, the golf cart safety checks before we arrived were a major plus, and the carts are great! If you have ever rented a place in San Destin with dead/weak golf cart batteries, you know what I mean. We were very happy with the rental and would book again without question.

As good as it gets

Two week trip. First week my 3 kids, wife and me. Second week added my parents and a brother an sister in law. Had a great time all together. Everything was in place and nothing missing. Surprise to my wife, there was an electric griddle which we did not use because we brought ours. Very usefull when you have a big family and want to eat healthy. Neighboorhood is among the best I have been in, very clean and secure. Communication with owner was excellent and shows how great and kind these people are. We recommend this property 100% and will definitely be back.

An absolute must-stay!!

I’d give more than 5 stars if I could! Sandestin is such a fun community where just about everything is accessible by golf cart. Baytowne Wharf, the beach, a pool just yards from the house, restaurants, and more. We have kids ranging from elementary to high school, and there was something for everyone—which is huge! This home has everything we needed—bikes, two golf carts, beach chairs/equipment, and more. The layout is open, with plenty of room for our family of 7 (and could easily accommodate more comfortably). Kitchen is fully stocked, and they have the best welcome/guidebook we’ve had in a rental. The communication with Chris was top notch, with very quick response. The location is perfect—minutes from the beach, wharf, grocery store, and restaurants by golf cart. Streets and sidewalks are bike-friendly, and we explored the whole area. Darling house, quiet neighborhood, and a patio that overlooks a lake—perfect for a BBQ in the evening or breakfast in the morning. My kids are already asking when we can go back!

Laurel Grove, Sandestin

This beach house was just as the listing said! The owner was so great to work with, very personable! It was the perfect house for our family of 9. It was my husband and I, and our two daughter’s and their families. We had three children, ages - 6,3, and 11 months old. Everyone had their own bedroom, plus each had a bathroom as well. Beautifully decorated, clean, and beds were comfy! Many extras like beach toys, games, bikes, and the golf carts were a huge plus and the kids loved them! The house is situated so close to the community pool, and just a short golf cart ride to Baytowne. The beach access is a short golf cart ride too. The back yard is very peaceful with pond in the backyard. Also, you can see the golf course in the back yard too. We done several things outside of resort, but you honestly don’t even have to leave the resort, everything is there and/or a golf cart ride away! When we come back to Sandestin we will definitely try to snatch this gem up again!

WE WAS THER TO CELEBRATE MY GRANDSONS 5TH BIRTHDAY.. THE PLACE IS IN A VERY NICE .. VERY CLEAN.. QUITE NEIGHBORHOOD WHEN WE WAS THERE IN SEPTEMBER. .. THERE WAS PLENTY OF TOWELS.. BEDS WERE COMFY.. THE OWNER CHRIS WAS VERY QUICK IN REPLYING TO ANY QUESTIONS I HAD.. THE OWNER (FAMILY ) HAD A BIRTHDAY GIFT SENT THERE FOR MY GRANDSON.. WAS SUCH A NICE SURPRISE AND MY GRANDSON LOVED HIS GIFT.. THERE ARE PLENTY OF DISHES IN THE KITCHEN.. WE DIDN’T COOK THERE BUT SEEMED TO BE ALL YOU WOULD NEED.. THE POND IS NICE .. MY GRANDSON AND I WENT BACK THERE A COUPLE TIMES JUST TO WATCH THE TURTLES… SO PEACEFUL.. ALL IN ALL THIS IS A NICE PLACE AND IN A REAL NICE AREA…. THE GULF CARTS WAS NICE AND FUN TO GO OUT IN… I CHECKED A LOT OF PLACES AND LOOKED AT 100’s OF REVIEWS.. WHEN YOU HAVE SUCH GOOD RESPONSE FROM OWNER AND THEN THERE ARE GOOD REVIEWS.. YOU KNOW YOU MADE A GOOD CHOICE.. YOU FOR SURE WONT REGRET IN RENTING THIS HOME.. AND A BIG THANK YOU CHRIS FOR SHARING YOUR HOME WITH US..😆
