Come relax and enjoy this adorable cottage with the best location in the Salt Springs Resort. You will appreciate the gorgeous views and lovely breeze from Little Lake Kerr. Cottage #21 is one of the few cottages available for rent from which you can watch the sunset over the lake every night directly from your front patio.
This 720 sq foot 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage
has everything you need for a comfortable stay including: kitchenware for cooking, gas stove/oven, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, blender, pool towels, board games, tennis raquets & pickelball paddles, poker set, outdoor gas grill and picnic table, cable TV & wifi. Comfortably sleeps 4, but can accommodate 6. Inquire in advance as we can provide a nice queen sized inflatable mattress.
We do charge a one time cleaning fee of $75.
Resort amenities start just 100 steps away from home to the two pools and waterfront including hot tub, game room, volleyball, pickleball, corn hole, horseshoes, shuffleboard, fire pit and more! Bring your boat; there's plenty of parking and a boat ramp on site.
Within walking distance are a Dollar General, post office, the Square Meal for breakfast or lunch, Salt Springs Pizza, hair salon and laundromat. Other nearby restaurants like Maxine's Kitchen, The Grill Out, Odd Todds & Cactus Jacks are a few minutes drive away.
Explore the local area: Salt Springs Recreational Area is across the street and nearby is the Salt Springs Marina where you can launch your boat into the run that brings you to the St. John's River. Juniper, Silver Glen, Silver Springs and Alexander Springs are all within a short drive. Bring your snorkel masks from home and spend a few hours at each spring. No two are alike. Like hiking? Bass fishing? Dirt biking, 4x4'ing (trails begin across the street!) Spectacular sunsets? It's all here!
There's ample parking at the cottage for 2 vehicles including a boat/trailer.
**Note that Salt Springs Resort charges a one time check-in fee of all renters for $35, additional vehicles for $15.

Everything was perfect. Beautiful cottage with a very nice lake view and close to the water and amenities Nicely furnished and clean. Pool was wonderful and clean. There was everything you needed for a vacation. We fished but didn't catch anything, but there is never a bad day fishing.Host responded to all messages sent in a timely manor. Look forward to our next stay.

The cottage was extremely clean and has everything you could need. We spent most of our time out on the porch where there are multiple seating options. It's the perfect spot for morning coffee and watching the spectacular sunsets on the lake. The lake was great for swimming and paddleboarding. Also loved that there were lots of extra cozy blankets to wrap up in. Krista was great, she responded quickly to any questions we had and checked in to see if we needed anything.

We very much enjoyed sitting on the comfortable porch chairs enjoying our coffee and the beautiful lake view in the morning. This cottage was so clean and in the perfect location near all of the resorts amenities.

Excellent stay with great owner. Had everything you need in the kitchen. Front porch was great to have coffee and watch sunset over lake. Liked the fishing dock as well! Will definately be back!

This cabin was well stocked with essentials coffee, seasoning, toiletries etc. It was very clean and well maintained.

Great location, very clean, well supplied!We visited with three adults and a toddler, the location was perfect. Proximity to parking, the pool, the beach, everything... exactly what we needed!! The cabin is very comfortable, super cute, we will be back! Thank you for being super responsive, and helpful. We cant wait to come back.

The host waa great, communicated with me the whole time, was helpful throughout the whole process. I gave 4 stars because no one let me know before getting to the resort that, there was a 15 additional car decal, and that due to poor cellphone reception they could only take cash. Otherwise all else was top of the line.

Thank you for your review. I'm glad you enjoyed the cottage, but I am sorry to hear that you had to pay the extra fee at the gate for your vehicle. I should have informed you of this in advance and it should have been indicated in the docusign too. That's not a fun way to begin a vacation. I am sending you a refund to cover the $15 and please accept my apology for the inconvenience. Hope to host you again another time.

Great cabin with great location!
We have stayed at this cabin a few years back and was our favotite, the location is perfect. It has been upgraded and i was so surprised there was availability for July 4th.
