Exceptional cabin on a lake in the Ocala Forest! Plenty of space, amazing screened-in porch, canoes and kayaks with launching space, life jackets, paddles, fishing poles, and other supplies provided. Our family enjoyed s’mores by the fire put every night and kayaking/canoeing during the day on the lake…perfect family get-away and great location for visiting nearby springs. Cabin was well-decorated and so cozy! Host was amazing with communication. We would definitely book again!

This place was amazing! The location was so quiet except for the sounds of nature - the dock was a great place to enjoy morning coffee. The cabin was welcoming and the kitchen was stocked very well. Comfortable beds & hot showers! The host, Teddy, was quick to respond and easy to communicate with. We did not have any issues during our stay but if we would have, I am confident it would have been taken care of efficiently. (The cane pole hanging in the garage brought back memories :-)

Our host, Teddy, was very responsive and friendly.The pictures of the house were right on. Everything we needed was in the house. Loved the fireplace!The Sandhill Cranes were a special treat.It was a perfect place for 4 “older” cousins to get together. Silver Springs was only 15 minutes away, and there’s a grocery store 5 minutes away.Thank you, Teddy!

The cabin is just like the pictures, we had the best time, went with my siblings and spouses. Teddy was the best Host ever! We enjoyed the fire pit making s’mores, views of the lake as we sat on the screened in porch watching the boats, birds go by. I think our dogs had the best time of all, fully secured fenced in front yard. They could run and play off the leash , a dog’s paradise, the squirrels kept them entertained and wore them out. My brother, sister and I along with our spouses had the best time, so many laughs , made wonderful memories at the cabin! We liked to thank Teddy for a wonderful time- such a great experience!

We had an amazing stay at the Lake House. If you’re looking for a quiet place to get away and relax this is it! The house is clean and inviting. It is in a great location, right in the middle of some awesome state parks and attractions. Although, the view from the screened in porch is so great you may never want to leave it!

I work in the healthcare field, but over the years I’ve worn many different hats, which has given me a deep appreciation for connecting with people from all walks of life. One of the greatest blessings in my life has been working alongside the love of my life in recent years—it has truly strengthened our relationship.

In my free time, I enjoy the outdoors—going to the beach, visiting natural springs, gardening, barbecuing, and spending time with family. I also love music, traveling, and slowing down to enjoy a peaceful sunset with a drink in hand.

I enjoy being a host because it allows me to share a space where others can relax, disconnect, and enjoy nature. Whether it’s sitting by the lake, gathering around the fire pit, or simply taking in the quiet surroundings, I hope guests are able to create special and memorable moments during their stay.

I chose this neighborhood because I had worked in the Ocala area many years ago, and it had always stayed on my mind. When the opportunity came up to buy this property, I didn’t think twice. I came to see the house, stood in the kitchen, looked out at the lake in the backyard, and instantly knew it was meant to be.

The neighborhood itself is quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by nature, which makes it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The neighbors are friendly, and there’s a genuine sense of calm and privacy that’s hard to find.

What I love most is how it offers the best of both worlds—you feel tucked away from the noise and busyness, yet still close enough to enjoy everything the area has to offer. It’s the kind of place where you can truly slow down and enjoy your surroundings.
