This small cottage features a charming bedroom, bath, and kitchen, as well as a relaxing front room and outdoor space for grilling.

Recently purchased and refurbished, the 1947 cottage received all-new furniture and new interior paint.

Note: From October 2025 to November 2026 (with a break for Summer 2026), the Sunset Beach Sanitary District will be improving the sewer system under the greenbelt across from the cottage. This does not effect parking or beach access and is largely underground.

Yes, the place is very comfortable, and its location is great. The beach is right across the street. It's a hidden jem. We felt safe along with the area being friendly. We chose this area because its low key but in a short drive you can find plenty of entertainment. Having a parking spot right in front is a plus. The owners are a phone call away but never had to call them because everything is taking care of. Thank you and yes, we will plan to stay there again.

The place was super clean.Bath and shower were really nice.Many coffee making devices.Tea and coffee onsite. Bed and couch were comfortable.Beach chairs in the closet were great.Parking was good for a small car.The porch is nice.We didn't do any cooking but it seemed fully stocked.The house is a one minute walk from a nice beach.We had great communication until we asked about the gas heater not being light, the heavy machinery operating 50ft from our door 7am-5pm (which will continue until May 2026) and the window that was left open.Then we got ghosted. And just so you know the house is now green not blue.

Nice location. Shower would not drain and backed up with sewage. Toilet wouldn’t flush or drain correctly. Issues were brought to owner’s attention and no solution was offered. Had walk down the street to use toilet at public beach access and wasn’t able to shower for the last three days of our stay.

Wonderful place to stay

The house was great and the location was perfect!! Robert was extremely helpful and answered any and all questions very quickly. There was even a very sweet gift basket of goodies when we arrived.

We enjoyed staying at this property as a family. The location was perfect. Unfortunately I would not recommend using the sofa bed. It was very dirty and uncomfortable. We ended up purchasing an air mattress for our children to sleep on.

A Great Getaway

This was a perfect place to get away for a lovely vacation. The bungalow is so cute and well-appointed. They've truly thought of everything! I'd recommend this location for anyone. It is close to the beach, restaurants, stores, and great walking paths. Sunset Beach is beautiful and stretches for a long ways up and down the coast. You'll definitely want to check this place out!

Cute Beach House

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was just right for the two of us to stay in, while visiting family over Thanksgiving week. The house was very clean and everything worked. Beach access was right across the street, and we enjoyed long walks along the beach and through the neighborhood. The neighborhood is very quiet, and people very friendly. When we had an issue with not being able to connect to the internet, the owner was very responsive and helpful, and had us connected very quickly. And the WiFi/Internet was very fast. We really enjoyed sitting on the front porch with our coffee in the morning, once it warmed up a bit.

Beautiful week in the beach cities

Absolutely amazing location. Everything was clean and pristine. Beach is a two minutes walk away. Liquor/convenience store literally 30 seconds walk from the property. Doesn’t get any better than this. Highly recommended!

Beach getaway

This was a wonderful place to have our family over for a BBQ in the back patio area, go for walks on the beach & watch the sunsets.
