Welcome to Harthside Hideway!
Enjoy our home located in the Adirondack State park, just a short walk to the private White Lake. This two story Adirondack style home, features three bedrooms and two full baths. Hardwood floors throughout and a large stone gas fireplace in the spacious living room located on a scenic tree-lined dead end street. The home is equipped with an outdoor security system as well.
Upon arrival you will walk into the side entry which leads you into the the foyer with a custom made hall tree to drop your belongings and kick off your shoes. The kitchen is well appointed with a large peninsula and is fully stocked with all the amenities of home (pots, pans, cookware, utensils - down to the corkscrew). Large country style dining room table which will accommodate up to six guests. The living room boasts a floor to ceiling stone gas fireplace - with a push of a button on the remote you can set the tone for comfort and relaxation. Sit in the comfy lounge couches, put your feet up and watch a show on the flat screen TV or open up the grey cabinet and enjoy a game or two. Step out the front door and be greeted to a large front deck with comfortable lounge style seating as well as two rocking chairs and a porch swing. Enjoy the comfort of the day with a beverage of choice, a good book, or socialize with family and friends.
There is also a full tub/shower bath on the first floor as well as two bedrooms. The first bedroom is equipped with two full size beds, closet, ceiling fan and flat screen TV. The second bedroom is a mirror image and boasts two twin beds, which can be converted into a king (upon request). Open the back door to more seating and a flat top grill. Step down the path to a large backyard and firepit to enjoy making some smores! (there is stacked firewood for your convenience). Head upstairs to the master bedroom, which has a king size bed, walk in closet and master bath with shower. This room is also equipped with ceiling fan and flat screen TV. This house has WiFi thermostats and central air conditioning. The bedrooms each have USB outlet ports. There is also a water purification system built in and stackable washer and dryer.
Harthside Hideaway is a short walk to the private White Lake, which you will have access to use via a lanyard which will be supplied to you upon your arrival. White Lake Inn Bar and Restaurant is down the road, stop in for a drink or some wings, or listen to a local band. This house is situated on a dead end quiet neighborhood. Ideal for riding bikes, taking a walk or a run. There are numerous hiking trails within Adirondack Park, or you may want to play golf at one of the many nearby courses. White water rafting, boat, kayak and canoe rentals are nearby. Just 5 minutes from Otter Lake, 10 minutes to Boonville and 15 minutes to Old Forge attractions including, water park, restaurants, museums, shopping, and much more!
